Demoliton Comets, Skyly HUmars, and Red Slimes

Okay, my Skyly HUmar is trying for a Demo Comet, which can be dropped by Pouilly or Poufilly Slimes(I forget which, the Red one is the one I want).

How do I split them and in why quest and room should I pipe in?

You can split em in any room using Rabarta, and any room is good it really doesn't matter too much. Some people say you get more rare enemys where theres fewer varients in the room (only one blue slime as apposed to two or more). Others say more is better, I've had equal luck with one enemy or 3 or more. You can also use the third attack of a weapon to split slimes. Special-Special-Normal Combos will work with most weapons, especially low level insta kills.

ARGH! 150 pipes, 1 Pouilly Slime that dropped nothing, 3 hours of my life wasted.

I need to hurt someone BADLY. This is sooo frustrating. I got my Sange in six pipes.

I find two Poufuilly and split them into eight. It'll be mine in no time, a few pipes and one KILLS the other before I can split anything. Now I'm back to having FOUR chances. Then, my hopes rise when I see a Pouilly Slime. It gives nice 820 EXP or so, but it drops NOTHING. Is this all worth it?

Last night in a normal Ult Caves run, three friends and I found a red slime... it dropped a 0/0/30/0/25 Demo Comet, but the Force on the team grabbed it http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

hmmm i tried the pipin 4 a dem comet on my skyly huney. After 3 hours of pipin in which i saw 2 red slimes and no red box i said fekk it. And went back 2 me ruins runs.
Dark Bringer after a couple of ruins runs dropped me a nice Meteor Cudgel. Which has a wee bit better atp and lil bit better ata then a Dem Comet. (talkin bout weps without % on hit now) So i was happy with me meteor cudgel (20%abeast lol)
So if u get tired of huntin 4 a red slime 2 drop a red box. Play ruins way more fun then pipin anyway and Meteor Cudgel he will drop sooner or later http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I've never seen a red slime... doubt I ever will. Do you have other characters? Redria finds them a lot more easily. I've found 4 from Mil Lillies so far..... just a suggestion.

No, but my friend has a Bluefull that also gets a Demo Comet on Ult Mil Lilies. I've got him in my mem, but two problems:

-He doesn't play one player except when he first started, so he can only go up to Normal Mines...
-I've got his memory card, so I'd be able to play 1 player to get im to Ult in a few days, but since we were playing, his characters is in my memory card instead of his. 1 player does not work with transferred chars. I have one controller, so I can't transfer back.
-He's LV 80 and I'm LV 88, so we can both go to Ult. But as mentioned before, no 2nd controller.
-My LV 88 died on the first room on Mines. That Meteor Cudgel is a long way off.

If you are killing slimes, you will never get your item. Once you kill them, the game registers them as dead and they can no longer drop ANY items. Your red slime dropped nothing because he was told to.

Erm, wha? You have to kill them for them to drop something. I don't understand what you're saying...

If you are splitting a blue slime, kill any of the parts, then telepipe out of the room and back into it, the enemy will not drop any more items. Ever. Even if it turns red, you get nothing. You have one shot.

As long as they stay alive, you're fine. You can damage them or do whatever else you want to them, but if they die that's it.

yeah, i got 2 red slimes in skyly this morning as well in the span of a hour. neither one of them dropped anything. >_<
