All you guys that want server-side saving are fooling yourselves if you think this will stop cheating.
You guys use Diablo II as a reference for this and I hate to break this to you, but there is ALOT of cheating going on in the REALM games of Diablo 2. I know of at least 2 cheats that do many of the things that are done here on PSO that work on Realm games. Do not ask me to tell you what they are, I will not.
The other problem with Server-side saving is the fact that I then have to play a DIFFERENT character when I want to play OFFLINE! This is one of the most retarded things ever devised. I don't want to spend the time developing 2 different characters. I want to play one character and be able to play offline and online with that character. To have to develop 2 different characters so I can enjoy all aspects of the game is assinine.
