GC: can i get some help? (says no.007)

earlier i was playing then i stopped, unplugged the modem cord and dropped it onto the tv and heard a smack, i thought i broke it but it works when i call someone so, but now, the modem doesnt register a cord in it so it doesnt connect, anyone know what i can do?

Perhaps you broke that little plastic thing that holds the cord in place. I think you can rather easily replace that. If that's not the case, then well... you can replace that for like 7 dollars at any computer store...

well it works with the phone, so it dont think its that, i used another cord and it didnt work either, (it was a cord for digital cable, but they are all phone cords so it shouldnt matter)
