Soft Reset Question

Does anyone remember the button combinations to reset the game on the controller instead of pressing reset?

I got killed by a Mil Lillies Megid blast not about thirty minutes ago and lost 400K Meseta. I don't want to save because right now my character is broke and found nothing of worth before I was killed.

The soft reset will save, unless you're offline. In which case the reset button and soft reset perform the same function. Resetting and reverting to your last save.
