Dang it, I was playing, and I was at DF offline. All the sudden the power goes out.

My dad yells out that the power went out. (Like I didn't notice) Anyway, we then turned on the radio because now we could see that there was a lot of lightning to the north.
(I play with headphones, so I coulnn't hear thunder)

The guy said something about a severe t-storm warning. Then, like 5 minutes later said something about a tornado watch.

Anyway, back to pso- I lost the 2 levels I got from the ruins.

So the moral is: Dont play when there is a thunderstorm outside.

Consider yourself lucky that power outage didn't happen online during one of the many saves, or online period, or while quitting the game. Best case scenario for those is losing all your items, at worst, losing the character. O_O

That same thing happened to me. But I was playing in Ultimate and I had already killed DF. I was around picking up items, I don't normally do that. Then a huge thunder clap and the power flashes. For less than one second. The cube reset and I lost the 180K that I got from that hours of playing. Oh well, no biggie! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

oh yea, and thought it seems as though you're killing two birds with one stone, don't play PSO while taking a shower.

Wrong. At worse, the power shock will fry your gamecube and destroy it's ability to play anything. ^_^

That's why you keep all your electronic things you care about plugged into a surge protector, of if you wanna get really fancy a constant power supply surge protector.

I'm just thankful the power company guy had warned me before he killed our power. They had to shut it down for 30 seconds to fix something, and he almost forgot to warn me so I could shut off computer, ect.
