View Full Version : Has anyone tried the soft-reset?...

I was curious to know if the soft-reset worked just like DC and it saves when you press all the buttons together. Well, I just tried that after dying on Olga 3952935957 times, with a slight margin of error on that number and boy was I suprised, IT SAVED! Actually no, it just reset the game and I lost whatever I had earned during those 2 1/2 hrs. I guess I shouldnt be lazy and just goto Quit on the menu..I hope that works online though LoL. This is regarding the GC, might I add. That's probably the dumbest thing I did on PSO next to acting too hastily and quitting the game after being NOLED + letting it save

Online only. It quits, DCs and saves, then to the intro screen.
Offline, it just immediatley goes to the intro screen.

exactly - the immediate reset is good for mistakes like... eating a wrong material or an unreturnable, unwanted mag evolution... or for opening easter eggs and the like.

Hey! I had no regrets making that nifty Snow Queen. It's just mostly a support weapon, is all.

Besides, I had to wean myself off of the weak Mr. Freeze power trip in favor of stronger stuff sometime.

I find it easier to just switch off the GC, lol. Still dunno what is the quick reset combination myself though.

I use A+B+X+Y+START. I don't know if you need to press that many buttons, but that is what I have always done if I am too lazy to get up and hit the reset button on the console.

to soft reset just press X+B+START, you can do it offline and online and it saves when u do it

It will not save when you are offline...that way if you want to open gifts...easter eggs, evolve mags, etc you can do it offline and if you mess up you just reset it and it will not save anything you have done.

Hey, I have a quick question... How do you soft reset on Xbox? I swear, I've tried every button combination and nothing has worked yet.
