after losing my mag from a fsod i decided to invest in a Actionreplay save manager to back up my xbox character, however i get an error saying "corrupt game file" whenever i restore a save to the card from my pc, any ideas of how to help?

There's a reason for that. If you could copy the save file, it would be super easy to dupe. So Sonic Team made it that you could not copy the file.

no its cos action replay does not support saves that cannot be copied via teh dashboard.
