Help getting online with roadrunner

Alright my ISP is Roadrunner and I can't seem to get online. I've tried to connect using the find my IP automaticly but that doesn't seem to work. DO I have to configure my options manually? and if so how can i get my info for that?

if this is GCN related, this is what you have to do.

Ok, first off, have the Game obtain the IP automatically.

The modem needs a new adress, so put the cat-5 cable in the BBA with the GCN OFF (< important). Now, pull a hard reset on your modem (unplug the modem from the outlet, wait a 20-30 seconds, then put it back in.) Now, with the modem back on, turn on the GCN. It should work now. Wait for all the lights to come on.

If it didnt work:

Have the GCN on when you hard reset the modem. There have been times when the modem did not pick up my BBA, so i did this and it worked.
