I just wish ST would put something up that did something with them so everyone would be quit asking about them. If they can't do that, they could at least state that they will be used in a future quest or something.

I actually hope Sonic Team NEVER gives the Photon Sphere a use.

Let's be realistic, 99.9% of all Photon Spheres out there are dupes. So by giving the Photon Sphere a use, you would just be giving the cheaters/hackers/dupers/whatevers MORE content, MORE things to dupe, and MORE stuff that they don't deserve.

Hey Richard, I completely agree with you.

It's a shame that nothing will probably come from it, but as you said, every photon sphere is a dupe, negating it's special value.

But you never know, Sonic Team had certain plans for these items when this game was released and maybe they don't want to abandon them.

I would have thought that Photon Drops would no longer have a use after the original Gallon's Shop quest, but now they can be used for S-Rank abilities.

As always, we'll have to wait and see.

WHAT?! They're all being duped? I've yet to play online and I've accumulated 99 PD's with my Fomar, I was gonna use it. T____T Now I find out it's a dupe and if people see I have it they'll think I'm not legit. I hate dupers! DIE! Mmmm Double Cannon. I made that P.O.S. legitamently too. T_____T

I was in Gallon's Shop yesterday, trading in some PD's for stuff and I realized that they redid the flow of things. It kinda seems that they have intentions of allowing you to trade in other things for things there, eventually.

they have no use of now and will in the future. In a future online event there will be a new weapon, armor, quest or something in which to use them.
