I saw a link on here for a DIY kb adaptor. I don't mean the kits, I mean the build from scratch yourself. I have the necessary components here (GBA-GC adaptor which I can take the plug off) and a 6 pin DIN socket. I assume the missing component is some sort of buffer chip. I completely lost the link and can't find it, so could somebody let me know?
I want to DIY because I can't find the Datel kb anywhere in the UK, it's also expensive to post (to my friend in Canada) even if I got one, and he's Japanese so some of these adaptors which I hear only work in English mode are no good at all. Making one seems the best bet, then testing it on my kb and if it works, posting it. I promised him an adaptor as thanks for a big favour he has done for me, but it's working out as a little harder than I expected.
