I was interested in some of your fighting techniques, regardless of class.
I usually (what I have dubbed it) 'herd'
I attract all the enemies over to me then run to the opposite side of the room so they are grouped and coming right for me haha
Easy targets for my Gatlings & Ripper.
But yeah, any interesting techs used out there?

p.s. I really am sick of the DB's and Varistas I am getting haha OH but I did get a Parasite Wear=ROL I think it was from the Caves boss on Hard. hmmmm too bad I couldnt wear it haha

Personally,

I find anykind of animal husbandry (herding inclusive) to be highly offensive. : P

Seriously, the easiest way for me to clear a room is to cast rabarta, brrrr, and then whack away with a gun or sword, altho a lot of times, i just stop completely and type in disparaging comments about their mothers and offspring.

I am with Mist, I like the harsh language approach myself.

Nothing is more fun than taunting an enemy that is 4 times the size of you ;')

Actualy the proper term is "Kiteing" http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

It depends, sure this is the method I used for the forest and caves...but once I got to the Mines I busted out the Varista, fun stuff let me tell you, and very TP efficent. Also using Razonde is very useful on Machines because most are weak and or become imobile after being hit with it.

My MAG is my best new friend now thought. My first MAG was Mind based (M>D>P) But this last one I went all out Defense and Power (P>D+M def>45 weilding rare force mag) because at level 32 I was sitting at over 700TP and I relized I am going to have more than enough TP as a Force.

I still dont have the HPs but I'm up there with most Rangers and Some Hunters as far as ATP now. Not that I plan on pretending to be a hunter anytime soon, but it does help ALOT, at least now i'm not totaly useless when I run out of TP and its made the Boss fights way easier cus now I can conserve my TP.

Oh sure, hurt their feelings! It's not their fault... They've been warped by Dark Falz into a twisted form beyond their own against their will, but sure... go ahead and make them feel bad about it while you're at it.

My android uses similar tactics to yours, Mits, to quickly and humanely put them out of their misery, while my HUnewearl freezes or paralyzes them and then sings them a soft and soothing lullabye before sending them to their "final reward."

Shame on the rest of you! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

LOL. But it?s not ecologically sound to kill them all. You have to at least not kill the females and young as well as leave a few males to repopulate the herds. Otherwise you won?t have anything left to kill later on. I think its called thinning the herd. And on a side note, I eat everything I kill. Hmmm?, Booma steak. Taste like chicken. And Gilchic, wonder if by eating that, since I am an Hucast, wouldn?t that be cannibalism? Oh well, goes down easy with some WD-40. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

Back to the topic, my favorite fighting techniques are also ?herding?. Usually with a sword or long sword (good range, can hit multiple enemies, wide range i.e. they don?t have to be directly in front), I run around the enemies (with the start button on so I don?t ?slow down?), get them into a group and then use a three heavy attack combo. I also like to take a quick step back to avoid the retaliation, turn-around, and repeat the combo. Or I would run to the side and hit them from another direction.

Mmm. I run around like a chicken with my head cut off.

Namely, on a group of ground enemies, run in, smack one down, then back off to line up the next one. Keeps me from getting rushed by the whole group.

I hate flying things. But a gun helps there...

It's always fun to lead a bunch on baddies to the local item whore. Especaily when they are in a corner trying to get all of the items.

Insult them??? No wonder those Boomas looked so sad... And the Sharks... Well they were so depressed I don't even want to talk about it...http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_frown.gif

I also use a 'Herding' strategy, especially since on the more difficult levels, if the monsters surround you they can do serious damage. When I was at a lower level, I didn't even want Deband cast on me, because if I had Deband, I wouldn't collapse. If I collapsed, I would have time to cast Resta and run away, but if I was Debanded, they would hit and hit and hit and hit and HIT AND HIT AND HIT!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
