C-Mode questions

I just have a few questions about C-mode.

My current C-mode team is nearing the end and I doubt we will make 7 hours. If I beat C-mode and get a shield can I improve my times and then beat C 9 again to get a S-rank? Could anyone explain how it works?

When you beat C9 you'll be given a rank, either B, A, or S-Rank, and the prize to correspond for that rank

So say you beat C9 and your total time is 7 hours and 5 minutes, you'd get A rank and one of the shields (I forget which one) You can now replay any of the stages and try to get a better time. So if you play say, Stage 2 and get 10 minutes better than your old time, your total time will now be 6 hours 55 minutes, and you'll get the S Rank Prize

So no, you dont have to replay C9 once you beat it
