So when episode III comes out how many of you are sticking with PSO 1 & 2 and how many are going to 3?
or maybe even sticking to both?

Obviously I'll buy it and see what I think. If I enjoy it I'll play it, if not I won't. I like PSO ep 1&2 so I'm sure I'll continue to play that as well. I'm not crazy about the card battle scenario, but I'll reserve final judgement until after I've put it through its paces http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Smart idea, but it doesn't matter to me if it sucks, I can use the disk as a coaster for my drinks lol http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I'll try it, I suppose. It depends. Will you be able to customise your character(s), or do you have to pick -that- HUnewearl or -that- FOmar, etc? What kind of offline mode will it have, if any? Can you import your characters from ep1&2, and if so, is it like the Ver.1 to Ver.2 conversion and one way?(Although if it takes place 22 years after ep1&2 like it looks like it does, that would make all those hideous pedo FOnewearls look strange. :-P)
Meh... I like running around whacking Bartles and Rafoieing El and Pal Rappies. At least Elly would probably be dead by then. ;-P

oh,yeah, let's vote on something that's not even near out in playable demos, or anything like that...basing judegement off a few screens and a fear of the phrase 'card battle'

Where's the last option that says, "I don't know yet... it's too soon to tell?"

Like I thought. very few people is planning tomove to episode 3 and quit episode 1&2. the majority of people that will buy ep3 will keep playing ep1&2 too.
And since they will use the same lobbies it makes the things easier.

As far as PSO episode 3 is concerned I am going to wait untill more info becomes available before I make up my mind on this game. I will probably have to wait untill the game is released and several reveiws start springing up over the web before I can get an accurate idea on how this game will be played.

What can I say, I don't want to give up on PSO episode 3 yet even though I know I won't like the CARD aspect to the game. I am still waiting for those magic words that will say that the CARD feature is just an extra feature and that the bulk of the gameplay is like it's predessors.

If it's an append disc that allows you to transfer your characters(Re: PSO V2) and still be able to play the Normal, Battle, and Challenge Mode, I'll get it.

That's an expensive coaster. ;x I buy games out of the blue and never rent anymore... fortunately been lucky and have only chosen a few bad games. But when I do I trade them in. I'd rather trade a game in or pretend somethings wrong with the game than be out fo the money

What a moron! You're supposed to use AOL discs as coasters!

hm... so far things seem its not an appendix disk, its a different game...
its using the same guildcard file as ep1&2, but you wont be able to play an actual game with your friends unless you change disks... just lobby chat.

seems like i'll end up playing both and changing every 10 minutes, what a pain... -_-;

if things really turn out like this, then its not very well thought, sonic team... make it 'ep1 to 3'.

(btw... anyone knows how much space v3 takes up on a cubedisk? i guess its kinda full, but i also dont know how much v2 needed on a GDrom...)

Actually, I may be the only one but I'm considering moving to Epsiode 3 for various reasons. First, I'm currently not renewing my HL since I've been playing more the mmorpg anarchy online, so I don't think I should invest money on a game I'm not playing too much. Second, I think PSO Episode 3 is going to rock! The card game idea is so cool and refreshing so I'm looking forward to it a lot. Another reason why I'm moving is that I want to play thay version and I'll probably come back to PSO in the Xbox version if I ever do that is, otherwise I'll be waiting for PSO2 while playing Episode 3. Oh! Another reason is 'cause I already have a modded GC so I can import it easily! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

I'd rather have a proper sequel
I mean, It's nothing against the new PSO but it seems that every video trading card game I've played has kind of sucked. Pokemon TCG was fun for about 4 mintes along with the yugioh games ive played at my friends' houses.

Ep 1 and 2 is a good stress reliever anyways. After a bad day and school/work, who doesnt wanna beat the crap out of various things and grab everything they have?
