I always said I had odd taste in music.
Here's an example of a normal playlist for me.

Galaxy Angel - Galaxy Bang Bang
Huun-Huur-Tu - Eki Attar
GWAR - Preschool Prostitute
Megumi hayashibara - Sakura Saku
Styx - Come Sail Away
Gimp Bizquik - Guitar-Lung-Fucker
Parliament Funkadelic - Flashlight
Field of 1000 Dying Cellphones - Post-it-Note (Gimp Bizquik Cover)
Bob the Builder - Can We Fix it
Darkthrone - Raining Murder
Henry Cheng - Gothem's Revenge
Black Sabbath - Supertzar
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
Devo - Mongoloid
Gary Glitter - Rock and Roll (Aka 'The Hey Song')
Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida [Full 16 or so minute version]
Mint Royale - From Rusholme With Love
NWA - Fuck the Police
Insane Clown Posse - What is a Juggalo
Dropkick Murphys - The Spicy McHaggis Jig
Cheech and Chong - Earache my Eye
Paul Pena - Jet Airliner
Pain - Antidote
Parappa the Rapper - Chop Chop Master Onion
The Toids - Fistfull of Kolo
Queen - Under Pressure
Wall of Voodoo - Hands of Love
Gimp Bizquik - How One Might Bash a Cat With a Hammer
Thee Michelle Gun Elephant - Get Up Lucy
Panyo Panyo Di Gi Charat - Dejiko's Runaway Rap
Men Without Hats- Safety Dance
The Beatles - Yellow Submarine
Voices (for Traffic Safety) - Not for the Better
Ravi Shenkar - Veena Murali
ThrotVox - Twas Techno Slew the Beast
Parliament funkadelic - Bop Gun(Endangered Species)
Madness - Our House
Kongar-ol Ondar - Kargyraa Rap
Stan Ridgway - Don't Drop the Soap (For Anyone Else but me)
They Might Be Giants - Drinking
Lords of Acid - I Must Increase My Bust
Theme From ToeJam and Earl
and finally...
The Thems - No Brakes (Offspring Cover) (Vin Diesel's Brother Matthew Remix)

Now, who here can go from Death Metal, to J-Pop, to Traditional Tuvan music, to the weird kind of stuff you expect from a band containing yours truly?

EDIT: Added a couple'a songs...

EDIT again: Added a few more...

Ahh yess, but can you make 2 - 4 notes at once with your voice like I can?

EDIT: Forgot Kargyraa(four notes at once) and Borbangnadyr(three notes at once when done with Khoomei)... Silly me. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime2.gif

Safety Dance is a great song. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif You should check out Razel from the Roots. He's like the human beat box, he can make the beat and rap on top of it at the same time. Check out the song "If Your Mother Only Knew" he does it live, it's really cool.

right now i have andrea bocelli playing.
O' Mare E Tu - i think it translates as "To The Sea With You"

but, in any one sitting, seeing as i rarely make play lists (i pick a song to suit what i want to listen to)

an example of what i may go through, by rough a catagory alignment to put the 'alternative' with other 'similar' such genres (or anything my family dissaprove of, in otherwords)

'A' - Like Feeder, With Swearing
American Head Charge
Aphex Twin
Drowning Pool
Evanescence
Fear Factory
Katatonia
Lacuna Coil (god i love them.)
Mushroomhead
Nightwish
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Smashing Pumpkins
System of a Down
Tristania

Andrea Bocelli
Various Castlevania Things (from the SOTN OST to the rock remixes..)
Clannad
Various Game Remixes (that just had me put 'Tororian Love Song' back on. this songs so pretty.)

thats based on what i've listened to recently... it goes from varying rock/metal types to classical and folk music.

i'd list some more individual songs, but, yeah. i don't really see the point of doing so.

Thats the same thing I do. I browse my list and choose one that suits the mood, or a song to change my mood and listen to it for abit.

Anything from arabic, classical(Mozart to Japanese and Chinese classical and folk) to J-pop, J-rock, german...if it sounds good to me, I listen to it. Thats the way it should be. =x

I rarely ever make playlists either, but I have a few exceptions. I've got a DDR playlist and some of my completely free downloaded copies of CD's.(thanks loyal file sharers at Kazaa) I save alot of money. I guess that's why they want those kind of companies closed.

I think having the theme from ToeJam and Earl in your playlist makes you my new favorite person. Congrats.

Having eclectic musical tastes is what keeps me sane. I'll jump from one genre of music to something RADICALLY different a month later.
Recently, I jumped from psychedelic trance (Infected Mushroom (http://www.infected.co.il/), Astral Projection (http://www.astral-projection.com/)) to happy hardcore (Anabolic Frolic (http://www.happyhourradio.com)) to drum'n'bass (Dieselboy (http://www.djdieselboy.com/), Adam F (http://www.adamf.com/)) to alternative (Cold (http://www.coldonline.com/frameset.html)), all in the past two months or so. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_hamster.gif
A lot of people probably consider my musical tastes to be WAY out there, and they're probably right. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif I'm a music freak. >_<
