Can this be done on the xbox? When i go back and forth through the pipes the monster do not seem to reset...

Should work for offline. Pipe trick doesn't work on any online though.

ive tried offline in single player mode but it doesnt seem to work.

yes it works just depends on how long it take for the rare enemy to show up. once I had a rare lily appear on the second pipe and got my demo comet. The second tiem it took about an hour to get one to appear. luckily it had a demo comet also.

so it just depends. the only ones that I have a hard time getting to appear are the rare slimes. Once I wnet over 2 hours before one showed up. and none of them have dropped my lavis cannon yet.
