GC: Mail FSOD?

Wow, another pleasant surprise greeting me on PSO when I log on today!
Apparently, several of my friends have gotten cases of FSOD... through simple mail.
The moment they get the mail icon, bzzzzzt, FSOD!
I have NO idea how this is done (and PLEASE, nobody explain how to do it in this topic), but its potential for destruction is FAR greater than lobby FSOD ever was.
What if someone hit you while joining a game? While saving at a shop or the bank? Etc etc etc... Instant corruption.

Has ANYBODY else gotten this today? At least 3 of my friends have, repeatedly, so I know it's not a fluke.

i just read someone mentioning "mailbombs" on the GC yesterday...in the Cheaters forum i think.

kinda sounds like an Action Replay hack, but maybe im just using them as a scape goat because i hate them!

might just be a glitch that someone is exploiting...

thats really lame though.

i wonder if the mail is coming from somone who knows your friend and is doing it to them on purpose, or if its just a random coincidence...hmm?
