Barbra Ray = Barubary?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but did ST name the boss after the hacker dude? Cause last night someone told me his name was different in the Japanese version. I think its pretty funny if they did especially since they called the little ones Pig Rays lol it's a fitting "tribute" I think.

I like to think that it's Sonic Team's sly jab at the renowned hacker who heavily contributed to the psuedo downfall of PSOv2. The name, coupled with the fact that Elly has a hard time spitting the name out...makes me wonder.

LOL, I was playing w/ Alielle when something similar happened to bring that up. Someone said that they got some weapon from the Barbra Ray. We'll, we're on XBox, and it sounded like he said Barubary, and immediately I thought it's all over. He got a weapon from Barubary? Using each letter in Barubary only once you can spell out Barba, what is left unused is ury which could spell Ruy... but that's about it.

in case u guys forgot, Barubary is also the name of the 1st boss of Breath of Fire II, it's this big demon guy that u follow in a cave and it kills u in 1 hit and talks about the main char being "the child of destiny" r sumthing

I doubt SEGA would waste their time with something like that when they don't work on fixing the bugs that have infested the game.

However, I can picture in the back of my head a few little Japanese men on Sonic Team snickering over their cleverness while naming the new boss.

Sega naming a character after Barubary? Sounds pretty unbelievable... But if it happens to be somehow true, then dammir, I wanna see a character in the next Diablo named 'St33v'!

Cause if SEGA can name an enemy after the hacker who's known to have completely destroyed the first two versions of PSO. Blizzard could name an enemy after the hacker who once spent 6 hours on the european servers of Diablo 2 joining random games, repeating the words "DER FUKKEN!" over and over, and lagging the server and the game by sending all kinds of illegal packets (and doing other weird stuff) like crazy.

*Wishes that his favorite D2 hackers/cheaters got as much attention as Barubary does*
