View Full Version : Can fomars cast magic as quickly as newms?

My friends FOnewm was casting pretty damn quick, and with weapons. Will my FOmar ever be able to do that?

Ummm, someone correct me if Im wrong, but I think FOmars have the fastest casting abilities.

They have the same speed of casting when unequipped.

*/Battle units affect physical attack speed, not techniques.

As far as I know, if a FOmar and a FOnewm had Level 30 Foie and fired it off, they'd be on par without a weapon equipped.

Wanna see really fast tech casting? Have your FOmar equip the Sonic Knuckles! I was casting Gizonde like crazy! ^_^

No! FOnewm's have the fastest cast rate out of the entire FO class.

The really funny thing is that all males get that speed boost when casting bare-handed. Yup, even HUmars and RAmars. Not that it's all that useful for them. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Relatively speaking, if they all had the same technique level they'd all cast at exactly the same speed. The reason is because they're all based upon the same 3-D model with edits for visual variance. Similarly the HUnewearl, RAmarl and FOnewearl use the same base model (though the RAmarl has a few varying animations to make her seem more unique). The only class that has a truly unique 3-D model is the FOmarl. Pretty much every attack they have is different, and their bazooka speed is rediculously (and usefully) fast.

Oh, it's useful, especially when there's two Delsabers and unarmed Barta comes out faster than the shots from your handgun, hits more than one Delsaber and doesn't miss. ^_-;;;
