Getting online, PLZ HELP!!!!

ok i am conciderign the option of going onlien but i have a question once i but the modem and pay the HL of 8.50(is that right?) is that all I need to do and it will connect me to the web or msut i also choose which internet provider i use and if yes then is MSN compatible someone please help me with this!!

After you buy the HL, you need a ISP that's an actual ISP....in other words AOL doesn't work and anything else like AOL won't work...

I suggest Earthlink for a ISP, when I played on gamecube I got it and it was a real breeze.
