Hi everyone. It's my first post, but I've been around for a while, but just reading. My compliments to the guys who run the site. It's fantastic.

Anyway, on to business. Sega emailed this list of questions to me when I complained about losing my
level 200 character. I'd suggest that you mail them with your answers if you're as unlucky as me. Maybe this will help them sort out this problem and
make it safe for us to go online.

Mail them on [email protected]

Thanks for your email.

We understand your fears regarding the loss of your character/items. We are currently looking into the item or character loss phenomenon. At the moment
neither Sonic Team nor Sega Europe have been able to replicate this problem.
The issue affects a small amount of users and we are currently collating those customer's details in an attempt to identify a common denominator.

Please fill in the questionnaire below and send it back to us:

Thanks for the welcome. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

i was thinking though, if everyone who has been corrupted actually filled one out and sent it in, sega might realise the problem is a bit bigger than they think. i'm sure there are players who have been corrupted who have just uttered a few swear words, deleted their files, and started again without getting in touch with sega.

you know what's nuts? i sent an email to SOAmerica the day i corrupted (june 2). and i STILL haven't heard a peep from them.

then i saw this post last night, and sent a message to the address you provied, and they mailed me back right away. a REAL person mailed me, not just some damn insulting canned response. not that it said anything besides, "we're sorry, we don't know what the hell is going on, you're pretty much screwed"... but STILL; it's the principle of the thing.

SOA sucks hard.

How can they be that dumb? I hardly know someone that hasn't got corrupted yet and in that case they fear it every day and take measures to avoid it.
Maybe they count the PSO units sold and the complaints... but that would be very unrealistic.

And they dont know common denominator? What about double save ¬_¬

This is one reason why Japan's customer service agents are better:They'll try to get you to a real person to reply in most cases not a auto-message.
Here's some more:
1.If you send a e-mail to them you'll get a confimation message and after around 24hrs,they'll give you real help.
2.They're real workers, not the lazy ones you see in SOA.
3.And if they don't have a real answer they'll do the most sensable thing:contact their supervisor.
