What has more range?

What seems to have more range the sword type weapons or the partisin type weapons? Or are they the same?

I find that the Long Swords have better range and is faster than Swords. The drawback is that Long Swords also tend to be less powerful than Swords. This is just what I?ve noticed, so take it with a grain of salt. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif
