FanFic: First attempt at a fanfic *updated chapter 4, part 2

This is my first attempt at writing a fanfic. I'm hoping that it will be good enough to
continue it, so any feedback construction or deconstructive is always welcome.

Prologue

Some say life is what you make of it or events that happen are coincidence,but
what if some individuals lives are intertwined with each others and are brought into
consciousness for a specfic reason to protect or dismantle something. This is story is
about four lives that were created for this reason.

Chapter I An Unknown Savior

"Julia!....Julia!..where is that girl?" said Vivian, a slender, 20 year-old, green eyed
Hunewearl. "I swear if she went down to Ragol without me she is gonna get it when she
gets back." said Vivian. "I hope she comes back at least." thinking to herself.

Ahhh........growl....Foie!, "these Boomas are alot tougher when Vivian isn't here to
help" said a 18 year-old, white haired, blue eyed Fonewearl. Growl.."gees more" then as
she turned around she saw atleast 10 Boomas and a few Savage wolves heading her way.
"guess it's time to test out my new spell" said Julia thinking to herself. Rafoie!...but
nothing happened. She just realized that she was to exhausted to cast any more spells.
"this is not good." The Savage wolves started to lunge at her, teeth showing and saliva
dripping out of their mouths. The leading one attacked and connected knocking her to the
ground and as she fell unconscious she heard a noise........., click click , a wolf wimper,
and then a fall to the ground.

As she was out she had a dream of a human dressed in armor and wielding a
Tsumikiri J-sword and a Varista all bathed in a golden light. She tried to get closer to she
his face but she awoke soon after taking a step. Thinking she was still on Ragol she sat up
fast ready to fight but soon realised that she was in a medical clinic on Pioneer 2. "Your a
lucky one.?" said the bedside nurse. "Yes you are said a figure in the door." it was Vivian.
"uh hey" said Julia with a smirk on her face. "What were you doing on Ragol without
me!" yelled Vivian. "I was just tryign to make myself stronger so I can protect myself."
said Julia in a voice almost like a child that knew they were in trouble. "Thats what
trainings for....geez" said Vivian. "I won't do it again ok." said Julia in a whisper of a
voice. "Hey Vivian did you save me down on Ragol?" Julia asked curiously. "No, it
wasn't me the medical clinic told me you were here so I came as fast as possible." said
Vivian.

A odd silence remained in the room for a few minutes. "I wonder who did save
me then?" thought Julia. "Maybe we should ask the front desk who brought me here."
said Julia.

Chapter 2 A "Chance" Meeting

They headed towards the front desk, Julia alittle bandaged and Vivian following
her making sure she doesn't fall. "Excuse me miss but do you know who checked me in?"
asked Julia in an innocent voice. "Sort of he didn't leave a name but I can tell you what he
looked like." said the Check in nurse. "That will do." said Julia smiling. she turned and
whispered to Vivian "when we hear what he looks like the Hunter;s Guild might be able to
help us out." Vivian nodded. "Well he was a RAmar in green in silver armor with a helmet, the
visor blooked his eyes so I didn't get a look at them, he was slender, had a Varista, and was about 5'11".
"Thanks, also what time did he check me in at?". "It was at 115 beats." the nurse said.
Julia looked at the clock and it was 368 beats, "geez I was out for awhile." Julia thought
to herself.

As they headed over to the Hunter?s Guild Julia started to feel light headed and
dizzy. "I think you should rest and get something in your stomach." said Vivian in a
concerned tone. "I think that is a great idea, I didn?t realize I was out that long." said
Julia in a soft voice. After eating at a near-by outdoor diner they went to the Hunter's
Guild. "How may I help you today?" asked the Counter Girl. "Yes, we would like to
know if there were any RAmars wearing green and silver armor and a helmet, and had a
Varista in the forests around 105 to 115 beats?" asked Julia politely. "I don't think I can
tell you that information." said the counter girl in a professional voice. "Please he saved
my life and I would like to thank him." said Julia in a pouty voice with puppy dog eyes.
"Alright but don't tell anyone about me doing this I my get fired." whispered the Counter
Girl. "Thank you very much." exclaimed Julie with a cheesy smile on her face. "Geez you
learned that face well." whispered Vivian. "I know" whispered Julia still using that cheesy
smile. "Yes as a matter of fact there was a hunter like the one you described in the forest
at that time." said the Counter Girl. "Can you tell me where he is at right now?" asked
Julia. "Right now he is on a quest with a few other hu... and just at that moment some
hunters walked in and low and behold the unknown savior also walked in at the back of
the group. "Well I guess hes right there" said the Counter girl with alittle astonishment.

The group walked towards their client and gave her a data disk and went to the
counter to recieve their meseta. "Gees I never seen that kind of accuracy before." said
one of the HUmars to the FOmarl. "Me either but I'm glad he was on our team, I would
hate to be staring down the end of that gun." exclaimed the FOmarl with a little bit of fear.
The unknown savior was silent and didn't say a thing while he over heard the comments
about him. Julia watched him walk out of the corner of her eye while Vivian was busy
looking at the quests. After recieving their meseta the three hunters walked to the nearest
bar the unknown RAmar walked the other way and he and Julia caught each others eyes.
"Is that really the man who saved me a silent, soulless eyed killer?" thought Julia to
herself. "Hey Julia your man in shining armor is leaving shouldn't we tail him?" Vivian
whispered into Julia's ear. "I don't think we should.... but before she could finish Vivian
grabbed her arm and said "nonsense he my be the right one for you." "Argh Vivian why do
you always say such stupid things." said Julia in a whiney voice. And then both newmans started to silenty follow the RAmar.

Chapter III The Silent One Speaks

They stayed at least 20 feet behind him as he walked slowly towards his
destination. As they were walking a shriek was heard and he suddenly started to speed up
his pace and stopped at an alley. Two Humars and a RAmar had a 13-year-old FOmar
cornered. "Well look what we have here boys, a fly that flew into the spiders nest." said
one of the Humars snidely. "Please leave me alone I didn’t do anything to you." begged
the FOmar. "We’ll let you leave unharmed if you hand over all your mesesta and that
S-Rank cane." said the second HUmar with a evil smirk on his face. "I can’t give you the
cane it was my grandmother’s." replyed the FOmar. "Uh uh hand it over or you won’t be
leaving in one piece" said the RAmar getting ready to grab his autogun. Crash.....a trash
can fell over and the three hunters turn around and see the green armored RAmar. "hey
looks like someone is trying to be a hero." said the first HUmar. "Yea, but a clumsy one
at that." said the second HUmar with a smirk. "Look at this wanna be carrying a Varista."
said the red armored RAmar. "Well after we finish of this "hero" we'll take care of the
boy" said the first HUmar. After that the first Humar swings at the green RAmar with his
right arm, and in one fluent moment the RAmar uses his right arm blocks and grabs and
twists his arm and slams his left forearm into the HUmar’s elbow breaking his arm and
then having it ride up the broken arm and back handing in the face. The first HUmar is
screaming in pain. "Holy Shit!!!." said the FOmar, HUmar, and the RAmar while Julia
and Vivian thought that same thing.

"Bro are you alright?" asked the red armored RAmar. "Hell no my arm is broken
and my nose hurts like a bitch." said the HUmar in blinding pain. "You’ll pay for that you
son of a b..., before the red RAmar could finsh got punched straight into his solarplex by
the green RAmar. "uh....m-m-man...h-he’s....f-f-f........" the red RAmar fell gasping for
air. "I’m gonna have to use my saber" the second HUmar thought to himself. tryign to
fake out the RAmar he made it look like he was gonna elbow him. "he’s gonna try and
counter and when he does I’ll get him." thought the HUmar. And right before he got a
foot and a half to him withdrew his saber and thrust it at the RAmar. "Got ya!" yelled the
HUmar with a happy tone of voice. Then he looks at the RAmar’s eyes through his visior
and sees him looking at the photon blade. "what is he looking at?" thought the Humar. To
his astonishment when he looked down he sees the RAmar’s retractable photon claw blocked the
blow and his Varista in his other hand pointing right at the HUmar. Sweatign at a fast
pace the HUmar backed up in fear and thought "he is not normal, he read my move and
had a counter ready for it." At that moment the RAmar fired a round and skimmed the
HUmar’s left shoulder.

"Wow mister thanks, and also that was amazing hwo you managed to take them
down." exclaimed the FOmar with a sigh of relief. "Wow what amazing speed and power
for a RAmar." thought Julia and Vivian. The RAmar nodded the kid to go home and the
kid did. "Why are you following me." said the RAmar to Julia and Vivian who were
hiding around the cornor. They were amazed that he didn't even turn around to look and
he knew they were there.

Alright heres chapter 4 for any of you that are reading this. Its kinda long so get a sandwhich or something and the name was spur of the moment because I didn't feel like racking my brain for an half hour thinking of a great one.

Chapter 4 The Journey Begins
Both Julia and Vivian were hesistant to answer his question. And he repeated the
question once more in an aggrivated tone. Then from around the corner he got his answer.
They walked around and faced each other. "I was following you to thank you for saving
me on Ragol earlier today." said Julia in a shy tone. Vivian noticed that she was also
blushing. "Heh she gots the hots for a guy when she didn’t even see his face.". "Saving
you.....Oh yeah you are that force that was getting attacked by the boomas and wolves,
you shouldn’t go out by yourself until your strong enough because one of those times
someone will not be there to save you." said the green RAmar. Julia started to get angry
and just blew up on the unknown man. "Who said I needed your help I never asked you
for it!" Julia said in an arrogant way. "Oh great there she goes cocky as ever." thought
Vivian to herself. “"Then Maybe I should have let the wolves devour you and just left, but
unlike you I like to help people you self servering arrogant snob." replyed the Ramar.
Julia was left speechless because she did not expect him to say anything back. "I thought
you were better then insulting a lady but now I see a fool." said Julia with a grin. "A fool
I be if it means insulting such an arrogant "lady" as you put it." said the Ramar.

"If you would be so kind to introduce yourself sir, I would like to know your
name." asked Vivian politely. "Its Ken just Ken, and would you be so kind to introduce
yourself?" asked Ken nicely. "Nice to meet you Ken I’m Vivian and this little fireball is
Julia, she is rather nice when you get past her cockyness." said Vivian with a smile. "Nice
to meet both of you." Ken replyed. Julia just kept quiet and didn’t say a thing. "Nice
meeting both of you but I must be on my way.". "Well nice meeting you too but were
could you be going right after you got back from Ragol?" asked Vivian. "We’ll I was
planning on going down to the Caves of Ragol after I deposit this meseta." said Ken.
"The caves!" said Julia with a bit of curosity. "Wow the caves. do you think we can
come?" asked Vivian. "I think I’m gonna play Cupid with these two love birds." thought
Vivian. "Well that all depends on if your strong enough to handle it." said Ken with a
glance at Julia. Julia seen that and started to get angry. But before Julia could say anything
"So where and when should we meet?" asked Vivian. "Meet at the Central Dome in 200
beats." answered Ken. "Ok, see ya there." said Vivian. Then the two Newman females
left. "Great" thought Ken shaking his head.

Vivian was pushing Julia to the nearest virtual training rooms. "Stop pushing me
Viv gess." said Julia in aggrevation. "No we’re gonna get some hard training." said
Vivian. "Why did you ask to go with that guy he is way better then us." said Julia.
"Because I think you like him and he likes you." said Vivian. "You heard what he said to
me back there." said Julia. "Only because you got cocky." "Fine but I don’t think 200
beats is enough to get anywhere near as good as we need to be." said Julia "Just relax and
try to get stronger I have some disks at the house for you to make your magic stronger
too." said Vivian. Julia smiled and said "thank you" by moving her lips.

They arrived at the Central Dome 198 beats after talking to Ken. They walked in
and seen a figure training in the far back. "Hey whose there?" yelled Julia. The figure
looked at them and then went back to training. They walked to that side of the Dome and
seen Ken in a pair of shorts and an under shirt working out. Ken was sorta ripped he had
a six pack and good size muscles. "Looks like you made it." said Ken. "You would be
surprised how easy it was." said Julia with a smirk. "Oh really." Ken said with little
surprise. "Well its late and traveling into the caves right now would be stupid so lets wait
until morning before going in." said Vivian. "Great we have to sleep together." said Julia
with a sarcastic happiness, but in her head she was happy. "Great........well I guess a little
rest would hurt, I will be the first watch." Ken said generously. "Ok well we set up the
sleeping bags and Julia will be second watch." said Vivian. "Alright well then I’m gonna
hurry up and get to sleep, cya on my shift." said Julia.

Ken looked at them when they were asleep. "Hmm they’ve gotten stronger and
they tried to hide it..heh..to bad it didn’t work." Ken thought to himself. He walked 15
feet away from the camp and started to throw punches and kicks into the air, he had
wieghts attached to his wrist and inside the gloves he wore to increase his speed and
strength. Julia’s wrist watch woke her up with a low beep and she saw Ken training with
the wieghts. "Geez does he ever rest." she thought to herself. "Hey for an 18 year old
your pretty strong" said Julia. "Yea yea" said Ken modestly. "Hey your sweaty as hell
take a bath and get some sleep." said Julia with a smirk. "Yes mom" Ken said with a
bigger smirk. He went outside Central Dome to a nearby pond and started taking a bath.
Then out of nowhere a russle was heard in the bushes next to the pond. Ken started
looking around and then he seen the bush move....growl...a savage wolf pounced on him
as he seen the bush move. It scrathed his chest and filled the water with blood. "Your
gonna pay for that you bastard." he got on the wolf’s back and got both arms on its neck
and ...CRACK...the wolf sunk. "Damn be.......growl.....great." Three Boomas, a
Gigobooma, and a Hildebear all smelled the blood in the water and came ot the source.

"Ken sure has been gone a long time, maybe I shouldn’t of said that he was sweaty
as hell,.....oh well maybe he likes long baths" thought Julia to herself. The fight began an
unarmed man versus 5 strong beasts. Foie....the first booma fell in a pile of burnt flesh and
ash. "keep coming at me and you end up like that." said Ken hoping to avoid fighting
them all. The boomas came at Ken full speed and he finished them off with a GiFoie, but
he didn’t notice teh Gigobooma get behind him and it struck at him and carved his back
with its sharp claws. "gahhhhh ouch Zonde.... and the Gigobooma fell on the ground and the force from the zap took out its central nervous system. "Now one on one with a giant monkey
isn’t gonna be easy but it will see if my training is good only if I didn’t lose so much
blood." Ken thought to himself almost falling unconscious. "Bah all I need to do is get
close to its neck and use a GiBarta spell the ice needles should kill it." and after that he ran
at the Hidlebear and used his remaining strength to get on its back and cast the spell
before he got thrown off. He hit the Hilde in its neck but it didn’t kill it and he was to
weak to to be able to survive he cast his final spell before losing consciousness and killing
the Hilde.

Chapter 5 The Fourth One Appears
"Looks like its about time to see if he is ready to decide where he stands." thought
a man dressed in black. "Better tell him to be ready." thought the same person.

Somewhere on Pioneer II, around 12 years before this story a young child arrives
at his house to see his parents murdered and the killer standing there waiting for him.
"Well took you long enough to get here." said the mysterious person. "Full of angry,
hatred, and sorrow the young boy asked "Why, why did you do this?". "You should
know why, you should of listened to me and did what I said and since you did not this is
your punishment." said the killer. He started to slowy walk away and said "the next time I
come you better give me an answer or I will kill the ones that are close to you."

Ken was barely awake and heard two people talking, it was Julia and Vivian. "I
wonder why he didn?t try to get help?" asked Vivian. "He is a stubborn fool who thinks
he can take on the world." replied Julia. "They attacked me in my birthday suit and if I did
try and get help they would have attacked me while I was running." said Ken holding his
head. "Surprising you can get up after just being attacked a few beats ago." said Julia.
Ken just smiled back. "So thats all that happened, you got attacked while you were taking
a bath?" asked Vivian. "Pretty much....., then he remembered the dream he had and
started to get ready to move into the caves. "So we?re finnaly going into the caves can?t
wait." exclaimed Julia. "Hopefully your magic and endurance will be able to handle it."
said Ken with a grin. "Whatever" said Julia. After that they headed into the caves.

As they entered Evil Sharks began to come at them. Ken pulled out his Varista,
Vivian pulled out her daggers, and Julia was using a wand. They began attacking enemies
on their own and began to spread out which was a stupid strategy. Soon Julai was
surrounded by evil sharks and no one could help. Thats when she let out a Rafioe which
fried them all. "Eat that you mutated things" said Julia happily, Ken just looked at her
with false surprise. Julia turned around and there was a Grass Assassin ready to strike her.
"What the hell is that thing." yelled Vivian. Julia was to scared to think about attacking
and as the Grass Assassin swung its blade hit her wand cutting it in half and the other
strike was about to hit her Ken shot it in the head. "I told you to be able to take care of
yourself." Ken yelled over to her. "I didn't expect 15 foot bugs were here." yelled Julia
feeling embarrassed. After the room was cleared out they met in the middle. "Well now what you have no weapon." said Vivian. "I guess we?ll just have to do a quest and get some meseta so she can get a new one." Ken said while shaking his head. They headed back to the Hunter?s guild.

"Alright I?m gonna check the boards, maybe theres a good paying job." said Ken. "K, we?re gonna ask the Counter Clerk." said Julia. Julia and Vivian headed towards the Counter and started talking to the Counter Girl. It was the same one they talked to earlier. "Looks like you met your hero huh." said the Counter Girl with a smile. Vivian started laughing and Julia started blushing. "Its not like that." said Julia while still blushing. "Right." said the counter girl winking. "Listen were just here for a job so I can
get a weapon......then Ken walked and started talking to the counter girl. "hey is The Lost Bride quest still needing some hunters?". "Yes as a matter of fact the client is right over
there." said the counter girl. "Thanks and have a nice day." said Ken as he walked away.
"Don't let him get away from you girl he is too good to let go." said the clerc to Julia. Julia
grabbed Vivian?s arm and pulled her to the lady's restroom while Ken was talking to the
client. "Maybe the counter girl is right Vivian, maybe I should ask him." said Julia. "Well
I tell ya what, why don't I dig around and find out if he feels the same." said Vivian while
she put her hand on Julia?s shoulder. "Thanks" after that they left the rest room and met
up with Ken. "So you find us a good paying job?" asked Vivian. "Yep enough to buy Julia a new weapon and it a really easy quest, all we have to do is get our client to a certain room and not let her get hit and thats it." said Ken. "Alright whose the client?" asked Julia. "Her name is Cicil and that her over there."

The group headed over to Cicil and they heard the entire story of why she is doing
this and where to go. "Gees thats kinda sad don?t you think Ken?" asked Vivian. "Frankly I think the guy is a loser" replied Ken. Julia began to laugh and Cicil got kind of angry. "Well I think we should get going and finish this as fast as possible." said Vivian. "And we have two people to protect so Ken it looks like we need to pick partners." Vivian began to smile. "Ok we?ll play rock, paper, scissors to see who gets to pick first, ok?" asked Vivian. "Whatever, I get a weak partner either way." replied Ken. Both Julia and Cicil started to get angry. "alright go." And the count down began Rock paper scissors shoot Vivian picked rock and Ken picked scissors. "Alright I pick Cicil as my partner looks like its you and Julia." said Vivian. "yay i'm soooo happy I'm jumping for joy." Ken said sarcastically. Then Julia smacked him upside his head. "Learn some
manners." Julia said laughing. They went in the teleporter and went to the caves.

They went forward Vivian gaurding Cicil and Ken protecting Julia. They got to the transporter room after battling with many mutations and decided to take a rest. Julia and Cicil were talking about magic while Vivian and Ken were sitting at the opposite side of the room and relaxing after all the mayhem of getting to the transporter. "Say Ken
howcome you don?t talk about your past or family with us like we do?" asked Vivian politely. "Well I really don?t have any family." Ken said looking at the ground with his helmet off. "Did you get into a fight with them or something?" asked Vivian. "No they are dead, murdered in cold blood because of me." Ken still stared at the ground. Vivian
began to stare at him and said "I'm sorry I really shouldn?t have asked.". "Its alright It
doesn?t affect me anymore." Ken said sighing afterwards. "How come you don?t have a
lady friend, I mean you seem to be a very good natured person and seems you should have
no trouble?" aksed Vivian. "Never tried." said Ken. "I think you and Julia would make a
great couple why don?t you ask her out I'm pretty sure she wouldn?t turn you down." said
Vivian. Ken glanced at her and said "Even if that were true I couldn?t no matter how much I wanted to." remembering the dream he had. "Ken....I really think you sh...No" Ken interupted "You don?t understand, just forget about it." Vivian began to feel bad for bringing all of that up. "I think we should finish this quest and get back to fully exploring these caves." Ken said to everyone they went on the transporter and finished up teh quest
in the beauty of Caves 2. "Wow this waterfall room is pretty." said Cicil all glassy eyed
and happy that she made it. "Alright...(Julia called ryuker) everyone in lets go back and get
our money." "I will stay here and set up camp" said Ken "Why...before she could finish the question Ken interupted and said "Julia take my share and get a good weapon and take your time." "Ok...thanks Ken." Julia wondering why he was being nice. "I mean it
take your time" said Ken in a serious tone of voice. They three left and Ken stood in the Waterfall room "Alright come on out." said Ken looking around the room. A man dressed in black jumped down from a high place in the room and faced Ken. "So are you finnaly ready to give me your answer?" asked the man.

I forgot about doing this fic for a bit but heres chapter 6

Chapter VI A Violent Past
"Looks like you made some new friends." said the unknown man. "No they were
just hunters that were helping me do a quest." said Ken. "For their sake I hope they
were." said the man with a grin. "Seems your still carrying my father's Sealed J Sword."
Ken said while looking at a part of its sheath sticking out of the mans long black trench
coat. "I keep it with me so that when I see you it will remind you what happens if you
make some friends." said the man still grinning. They looked at each other for a few
moments and then Ken said "If you're here for my answer it is still undecided.". "You
know one of these times my boss is just going to tell me its either yes or no and when that
happens you better be ready." said the man. "Well from my understanding you can't kill
me until I tell you no so I'm safe so far." said Ken smirking. "Just cause I can't kill you
doesn?t mean I can?t "persaude" you to join." said the man as he began to move towards
Ken. Ken took his helmet off and threw it to the side of the room.

"I wonder why Ken said too take our time?" said Vivian. "Maybe he wants to be
alone or something for alittle bit, I dunno" said Julia as the walked to the weapons store.
"So what kind of weapon are you gonna get Julia?" asked Vivian. "I don?t know maybe a
better wand to increase my magic strength and a handgun for emergencies." said Julia as
they walked into the weapons store.

The unknown man was moving at amazingly fast speeds hitting Ken left and right
and then slammed him into the wall of the waterfall room and kept pounding on him. The
man grabbed Ken's left arm pulled him forward and kneed him striaght in the stomach and
then elbowed him in the back . Ken fell into the shallow water of the room grasping for
air. "Your still as weak as ever" said the man looking down at Ken. "Da-D--Damn you".
"Excuse me what did you say." said the man and kicked Ken right in his side. "Your
lucky that I can't kill you but when I'm allowed to it is going to the happiest day of my
life." said the man. "When that day comes it might be you that gets killed." said Ken as he
sweep kicked the man and then lunged at him after getting up. "Hmm looks like you got
alittle stronger and faster." right as he said that reversed Ken's pounce and slammed him
facedown into the ground.

"So you what do you think about a wand a handgun combination?" asked Julia.
"Go with what you like, if you get the handgun maybe Ken will teach you how to use it
properly." said Vivian smiling. "Gees your a smartass you know that." said Julia blushing.
"Well hurry up and choose." said Vivian. Julia bought a new wand and a handgun

Ken went sliding acroos the floor of the room. Some of the water started to turn
red because he was bleeding. "I wish you were stronger than this because fighting you
always gets boring, maybe when you unleash that hidden power you will be more of a
challenge." said the man in black. "When that happens you'll be wishing that I didn't
unleash it." said Ken as he tried to get up. At that moment Ken ran into the man and
managed to loosen the Sealed J sword and threw away from him. Not realizing what Ken
did the man said "What kind of attack is this trying to hug me to death?" after saying that
the man kneed Ken in the chest and tossed him a few feet away from him. "Well beating
up on you was fun and all but its time I take my leave but remember the next time I come
it might be your last chance." siad the man as he turned and started to walk away Julia
and Vivian emerged from a ryuker. The man looked at them and they looked at him and
seen Ken laying on the ground. "Hmm looks like we have some company, well killing
them shouldn't be a problem since they are not friends of yours, eh Ken?" said the man
grinning. "No leave them out of this, they have nothing to do with any of this." said Ken
as he began to get up. "Awe you know as well as I do that they have to die now." said the
man withdrawing another sword from under his coat. "I'm serious don't kill them." said
Ken as he made his retractable Photon Claw appear. "You really have no say in what
happens." said the man and with that he began to charge at Julia and Vivian with blinding
speed. Julia and Vivian were to terrified to try and escape. Just then Ken also began
moving at blinding speed trying to stop him from reaching Julia and Vivian. In a matter of
seconds Ken and the man appeared infront of Julia and Vivian. Ken was blocking the
man?s sword from reaching either of them. "I told you I was serious." said Ken to the
unknown man. The man looked into Ken's eyes and they were different from when they
fought before Julia and Vivian?s arrival, he also had a slight aura around him. He thought
to himself "so this is what he has sleeping within his soul." He then jumped back and said
"It time for me to leave but the next time we meet either you die or join me." with that the
man swung his blade and a energy projectile shot out and hit Ken sending him back into a
wall and he left.

"Ken".......Ken fell to his knees and then facedown into the shallow waters of the
room. "Ken!" Julia and Vivian ran over to where he was. "He's bleeding badly, keep
using resta I will go get some help from the Hospital." said Vivian and she threw a
telepipe to the ground and left. (Resta) "That should keep him from dieing, lets hope Viv
will get some help quickly." thought Julia. Vivian ran into the Hospital and told the
counter nurse and in a few seconds two nurses came with a medical box and a strecher.
They headed to Vivian's telepipe and went into the room. "Looks like he just got in a
fight with a meat grinder and lost." said the first nurse. "Well anyways miss did you use
resta on him until we arrived?" asked the second nurse. "Yes, I used a level 20 resta."
said Julia. "We'll take it from here." said the first nurse as they put Ken on the strecher
and headed back to the hospital. JUlia seen the blakc sheath of a sword out of the corner of her eye. She went and picked it up and then letf to the hospital.

I finished chapter 7

Chapter 7 The Rebirth
"Ken..........Ken, wake up!" said a deepend voice. "My head....nevermind my whole body hurts." said Ken as he woke up. "So you finnaly experienced your a fraction of your Power." said a mysterious figure. Ken looked around and seen nothing but
darkness "Where am I, who are you?" said Ken looking around as he got to his feet. A figure arose from the darkness "recognize me now?" asked the man with a smile. Ken was struck with astonishment "Dad, is that really you?". "Indeed, but there is a reason why your here." said Ken's father whose name is Sigmund. "Reason that I'm here?, do you mean that fight with Ferris?" asked Ken. "Yes it has something to do with the fight between you and what used to be Ferris." said Sigmund. "What used to be?, what do you mean?" asked Ken. "I mean the Ferris you knew as a child has been dead since that day." said Sigmund with a grim tone. "Then what was I fighting?" asked Ken. "You were fighting an empowered demon of the Dark One, and the reason I'm talking to you is because of what happened in that fight." said Sigmund.

Ken looked at Sigmund "nothing happened in that fight besides me getting a case of whoop ass opened on me." said Ken. "Wrong, you and I are meeting because you used a tiny fraction of your Power to stave him off." said Sigmund. "You mean when I......Ken began to back up.....used my last ounce of strentgh to protect Julia and Vivian." said Ken. "Exactly, your willful sacrafice let you tap into you true power to protect those." said Sigmund. "Our family has always had the strentgh to protect others that can't protect themselves, Our family line has defended many from Evil, we are the messagers from the Holy One, used to protect the defensless. But since I was slain and not able to help you unlock your power it is now neutral, that is why the Dark One claimed Ferris in hopes of
you would follow since he was the last person you knew and respected." said Sigmund looking directly into his son's eyes.

"Ok, but the question is why am I here?" said Ken with a raised eyebrow. "You idiot", Ken eyes widened "idiot!?, I don't need to hear this from a dead man." Sigmund's eyes widened "Watch your mouth with me boy.". "Now the reason your here is because you need to learn how to use your power to protect and defend people instead of turning
evil." said Sigmund. "Ok, if it helps keep Julia and Vivian safe then I will do it." said Ken bowing to his father. "Good to see that you are selfless, that is what will help you." said Sigmund. "Alright tell me during your fight with Ferris when he attacked the two newmans what crossed your mind?" asked Sigmund. "I felt the inability to protect them, that it was my fault he was going to kill them.". "Then when you decided to give up your last ounce of strength what went through your head?". "I was going to protect them even if it meant sacraficing myself to do so.". "Your ready to use your powers and I will train you to acces them." said Sigmund.

"Excuse me you two don't you think you should get some sleep?" asked a nurse. "No. its alright, we'll be fine." said Vivian as they sat in a hospital room. Both Julia and Vivian haven't slept since the fight ended 1200 beats ago. "Julia maybe you should get some sleep you don’t look ok." said Vivian. "I'll be fine,.....Viv do you think he's gonna make it?" asked Julia. "Well that attack that man did looked like it would cut a person in
two, but Ken managed just to be knocked back so I'm assuming he's gonna pull through." said Vivian sipping some of her coffee. Another nurse came in, "ma'ams the Pioneer Police are here to ask you some questions, would it be alright if they did?". As Julia was about to answer a familiar voice interupted, "No, I don’t feel like being questioned after just waking up.". The nurse was in shock just like Julia and Vivian were. "Alright I'll tell
them that." said the nurse as she walked away.

Julia and Vivian were amazed that after that kind of attack that he would be better in such a short time. "Ken you need a drink or something?" asked Vivian. "Yea why don’t you go get me a soda or something." said Ken as he held his head. "Ok" Vivian walked left the room to the vending machine. Julia got up and walked over to Ken and gave him a hug. "Am I missing something?" asked Ken as his face was pressed against Julia's boobs, "You can stop and tell me anytime soon", Then he noticed that she was crying without making sound. She finished hugging him and looked into his eyes, "I’m glad your awake and ok, I didn't know if you were gonna wake up or" Julia began to start sniveling "or" Ken interupted "Don't worry and just relax, you look like you could use some sleep.". "I haven't slept since you were brought here" said Julia as wiped her tears away. "Well why don't you get some rest" said Ken smiling. "Sounds like a good idea....,also Ken I have a question" "what is it?" "howcome your eyes look different they almost look like your happier?" asked Julia. "Because I figured some stuff out when I was out." with that Ken moved to the other side of the bed and made room for Julia. Vivian came back and seen Ken and Julia sleeping together in the hospital bed. "Well looks like things will be getting very interesting very soon."

Chapter 8 The Journey Continues
Ken woke up after sleeping for 100 beats, he turned and seen Julia still sleeping and Vivian asleep in a chair. "I think I'm gonna go out for alittle bit." thought Ken to himself. Ken went and told the nurse that if Julia or Vivian worried about where he went give them this and this key. With that Ken left the Hospital and went to a virtual training building.

Julia awoke after sleeping most of the day and walked out of the hospital room to see Vivian talking to a nurse. "So heres the key and a note, have a nice day" said the nurse. "Thanks you and you have a nice day also." said Vivian as she walked
toward Julia. "So what was that about?" asked Julia. "Ken went some where and just left us this key,an address, and a time to meet him there, It might be his house." said Vivian. "Well what do you want to do until that time? we have about 90 beats." asked Julia. "Wanna get something to eat and go see a fight at the arena?" asked Vivian. "Sounds like
a good idea." said Julia as they began to walk out of the hospital.

They arrived at the arena and headed towards its food court. Both went and got some pizza and a soda. As they sat at their table they over heard a conversation "Man that ranger was to good for that HUcast to handle." said one of the people at the table. "I know that RAcast ate photon, their pistol skills were unblievable." said a second person at
the table. Vivian looked at Julia and ask "Are you thinking its him to?". "Maybe, I don't know." said Julia eating her pizza. Vivian turns to the other table and asks "Hey where can we meet this ranger at?". "Their in the next fight its the finals." says one of the people at the table. "Thanks" Vivian turns to Julia "wanna go see the finals?". "Alright" they finish off their food and head towards the arena to to see the fight in person instead of on screen.

"Alright fans its time for the finals first up is the tag team finals between Omega Pink" ,the two team members walk out all dressed in pink it was a HUnewearl and a FOmarl, "and The Breaker Brothers" ,two HUmars walk out each equipped with a special kind of breaker, "Teams get ready, Get set, and FIGHT!" The HUnewearl charged at the of the HUmars as the FOmarl cast a level 30 shifta and deband on her. The HUmar in red armor equipped with a Blizzard Breaker swung at the wearl but her speed kept him from hitting her and she struck his back with her Dragon Claw knocking him down instantly.
The blue armored Humar instead of fighting the wearl went after the FOmarl and stuck her with an Chaos Breaker making her fire spells randomly. A zonde hit the wearl and made her stumble face first into a pillar of the arena. Just as the Humar was about to KO the FOmarl she regained control and knocked him back with a decent level Foie winning the battle for her team. "And the winners of the Tag Team finals are Omega Pink."

"Now for the One on One Finals it is Ranger X" ,a person wearign a cloack walks out and no one can see their face, "and Fuzzy" , a 7 foot Hucast walks into the arena and had a Chameleon Scythe for his weapon. "Fighters ready, Get set, and GO!" The cast headed straight for the cloaked ranger and within a foots reach swung his weapon with great speed and power. The ranger dodged the attack and fired a shot from a Heavens Punisherand nailed the HUcast in the forehead and ended the match right there. "Well that was.....fast, the winner is Ranger X.". "Hey Julia do you think that was him?" asked Vivian. "No I could tell by their height and teh weapon, it wasn't him." said Julia as they left the arena and headed towards their meeting place with Ken.

They arrived at a decent looking building and used the key to get in. "So this is where Ken lives" said Vivian as they walked around a clean and nicely decorated house. "How come there are no pictures of him or his family?" asked Julia. "Thats right Ken never told her about what happened, well I quess I should tell her." thought Vivian. "Julia, Ken's family was murdered 12 years ago, thats
probably why he has no pictures." said Vivian as she sat on the couch. "Oh, 12 years ago that would have made him 6, that must have been a rough time for him." said Julia as she sat on the couch.

They heard the door open and watched as a man walked in soaking wet. "Man I hate those artifical rains." said Ken as wiped his shoes to the mat and took off his wet coat. He had a box with him that was wrapped in plastic. "Whats in the box?" asked Julia and he walked towards the couch. "Well its a few things, like this" Ken pulled out a shield with a red gem in it and handed it to Julia. "Its a Red merge, it will make your Foie based spells stronger." said Ken as he pulled another thing out of the box. It was a pair of blue
daggers "these are called Blade Dance" he handed them to Vivian. He also pulled out two magic disks that contained level 15 grants and level 11 megid "here take these" he handed them to Julia. Julia then remembered that she still had that sword she found after the fight. "Hey Ken, I found this after that fight with that guy", she pulled out the Sealed J-Sword and handed it to him. "Wow, I forgot I got it out of his belt, thanks." said Ken as he
looked at the sword. "Ken why did he have that sword?" asked Julia. Ken look at the blade and then looked up "well it belonged to my father.". "If it belonged to your father then how did he get it?" asked Julia, Vivian looked at her. "Oh, I'm sorry I shouldn't of asked you that." said Julia as she began to feel guilty for asking Ken that question. "Its alright, as Vivian must have told you that my parents were killed, well he killed them and took it." said Ken holding back his real emoitons.

After looking at the new things Ken brought them they decided they should finish exploring the caves. They headed to the telepipe that they had brought Ken back in and went down to the caves. A few rooms from the waterfall room they found the transporter to the last section of the caves. As they appeared in this section they noticed that man
made structures were appearing. "This is odd, the other part of caves were mostly natural but this section has very advanced vent systems and generators." said Ken. They fought through the rooms until they found a large transporter that seemed to be bigger then the rest. "Well looks like we're going down even further." said Vivian. They stepped into the transporter and appeared in a Canal. "Looks like we get to enjoy a cruise." said Julia as she leaned on Ken’s shoulder. "Something doesn't seem right......" Ken looked around "do you hear that?". "Hear what?" said Julia as the lights started to flicker. "Looks like our relaxing cruise is about to end." said Vivian as she seen a giant worm like thing swimming towards them. Ken aimed his Varista and opened fire as Julia started to cast RaFioe. It Latched onto the raft trying to knock the group into the water. Vivian started to stab the
open parts of its shell, eventually its face shell broke off. It started to run away but before it could Julia withdrew her own hand gun and together with Ken finished it off with a barrage of photon to the face.

"Wow...that was scary as hell." said Julia as they reached another warp. "Great
were does this go to?" said Vivian. "The console says Mines." said Ken as he called up a
ryuker. "We need to restock and rest, we'll continue the exploring after." said Ken as he
walked into the newly made warp. "Ok" said Julia and Vivian in sync.

Chapter 9 A Vengeful Daughter
Ken, Julia, and Vivian appeared through the telepipe and were covered in all sorts of substances. "Man I need a shower." said Vivian wiping off some of the green blood. "I'm gonna take a nice hot bubblebath." said Julia. "Make sure your don't get lost." said Ken smiling as he took off his helmet. Julia turned and looked directly into his
eyes....SMACK.... "don't be a smartass" said Julia as her and Vivian began to walk ahead. They headed towards Ken's house, Ken still rubbing his head. Vivian went and took her shower while Ken went into the kitchen and got himself a drink and yelled in the living room "hey Julia want anything to drink?". "You got any soda?", "yeah root beer, grape, orange, and cola.", "I'll take a cola.", "Good choice". Ken walked back into the living room and handed her the cola. An odd silence filled the room as the ysat there drinking their sodas. Ken looked at Julia and Julia looked at Ken,..... "you need to learn how to use your pistol better." said Ken. Julia got up and started walking towards the bathroom and Ken noticed she had a rip on the backside of her shorts and started laughing. Julia turned back around "You shouldn't pick on me cause I'm not as skilled as you with guns." said Julia. "Thats not it." Ken said as he started laughing again falling off his chair. Julia gave him a puzzled look "whats so funny?" asked Julia. Ken still laughing "Your haha your heh your shorts are hahahahah ripped." said Ken as he tried to get back up in his chair. Julia turned her head and looked and turned back at Ken her face turned red and
she walked backwards toward the bathroom.

After everyone got cleaned up they sat watching the news on Ken’s TV. Ken was still snickering about the ripped shorts. The news reporter was Nol and was at the caves reporting what was found. "Well looks like an adavanced partys of hunters cleaned out the caves." said Nol as she walked toward a person throwing monster corpses in a pile. "Excuse me sir, can you tell us the names of the hunters who cleared the caves?" asked Nol. "Yes, It was a Ranger named Ken, a Force named Julia, and a Hunter named Vivian. Here are their pictures" said the man handing her a data disk. Since the news was government controled the whole interview was pre-planned. The headshots of Ken, Julia, and Vivian appeared on the screen. "Well these are the hunters that cleared the caves and found a path to another part of Ragol. We may be able to get an interview with the fearless hunters at a later date. This is Nol signing off" said Nol as the screen went back to
the news room. "Looks like we're famous" said Ken. "You guys wanna go do something before we head to mines?" asked Vivian. "Sure lets go get something to eat and see a few arena fights." said Julia. Ken looked at Vivian and said "sounds good, I haven't been to an arena in years." They headed towards the arena.

They arrived at the arena food court and each got their own kind of food. Both Ken and Julia ended up with the same assorment of food two slices of pepperoni pizza and a cola. They went to an empty table and ate while listening to people talk about famous warriors of the arena. No one noticed that they were the people shown on TV. Then Julia started telling Ken about Ranger X. "Sounds like they are very skilled." said Ken as he took a bite from his pizza. Then loud cheering started and Julia and Vivian seen Ranger X walk into the food court. "hey Ken thats Ranger X." said Vivian. Ken didn't even bother to turn his head "good for ranger X". "I bet you Ranger X is a skilled RAmar and sexy looking." said Julia trying to make Ken get angry. "Like I said before good for Ranger X, I couldn't care less." said Ken as he finished off a slice of his pizza. "Ken just look" said Julia "argh fine" as Ken turned his head Ranger X did the same, basically locking eyes Ken didn't have his helmet on and Ranger X had a cloak shadowing their face. Ranger X went to a table were a HUmar was sitting. "You know how you hoped that RAnger X was a sexy dude Julia." "yea, why?" "Ranger X is a girl" said Ken. Both Julia and Vivian looked at him "how do you know?" asked Julia. "My eyes are sharper then most people's." "Yeah right, your just jealous" said Julia as she finished one of her
slices of pizza, "whatever".

Ranger X started talking to the HUmar sitting at the table. The HUmar nodded and they both stood on the table. "Hey" everyone except Ken turned and looked. "I have an annoucement to make, Ranger X wants to know if anyone here would like to fight for a 10,000 meseta prize?" said the Humar. "Alright to make this easier everyone that is
thinking about taking the challenge move to the left side of the room, and those that don't move to the right side." Everyone went to the right side of the room. Ken finished his last slice of pizza and stood up, no one else was around him. As he walked over to the trash can on the left side of the room sipping his pop the Humar yelled "So your the only one willing to challenge Ranger X?". Ken turned his head and said "No, I was just throwing this plate away and this can.". "What are you scared." said the HUmar trying to get Ken to accept the challenge. "Yep, you got me I'm frightened." said Ken as he finished off his pop and tossed it into the trash can. Then someone in the crowd yelled "hey thats the ranger that cleared the caves.". The HUmar began to smile "So the ranger that cleared the caves is afraid to fight Ranger X.". Then Ranger X whispered something into the
HUmar's ear. The HUmar nodded "Okay everyone the fearless man that cleared the caves is afraid to fight." Ranger X took off her cloak "Rhea" a blonde RAmarl that was very beautiful and stunning. The crowd was in shock and laughed at Ken. "Wow Ken was right" said Julia.

"So Ken are you afraid to be beat by a girl?" said the Humar getting the crowd to laugh. "Nah I wouldn't want to be beat and whipped like you." said Ken smiling. The crowd started laughing in the HUmar's direction. "At least I have the courage to fight, your father must have taught you how to be a coward." said Rhea. The crowd turned to Ken, Ken's eyes started to show anger "I tell you what I'll take you both on". "Okay I'm game” said the HUmar. The crowd started moving tables and chairs out of the way so they could fight. Ken withdrew his Varista and pointed it toward the HUmar and as he began to pull the trigger the photon charger popped out. The crowd began to laugh and Julia thought "what is he doing?", the HUmar said "this is going to be an easy fight" while Rhea was just watching skepticaly. The Humar charged at Ken and punched him straight in the face knocking him back alittle. Ken threw some slow punches and the HUmar countered and knocked him to
the ground. "Your weaker then I thought you would be, Rhea just use the Heaven Punisher's special attack to finish this." said the Humar. Rhea's skeptticism of Ken's abilities faded fast and assumed he was weak. She aimed the Punisher into the air and pulled the trigger. A beam of blue light appeared and landed on Ken's body. "Ken!" Julia yelled.

"Looks like the person who cleared the caves was no match for me or Rhea." said the HUmar walking back towards Rhea. A smoking burn spot was all that was on the floor. "Seems the Divine Attack was to much for his body." said Rhea. After everyone
looked in shock and horror a screech was heard in the back of the crowd. People started to back up and a clear spot opened up for Rhea and the Humar to see. Ken was standing there untouched by the Punisher's special attack. Rhea and the Humar looked in amazement while Julia and Vivian were releaved. "But how, how did he dodge that attack, its humanly impossible to move that fast." said the Humar withdrawing his buster. "You fool, did you truely think you where winning?, I'm surprised you didn't even look into my eyes as you attacked me. I watched every attack you did and just let you hit me
until Rhea thought I was weak so she would use that pistol's special attack. I wanted to know what I was up against before attacking. Playing stupid is a great way to learn your oponent's attacks." said Ken as he began to walk forward.

The Humar not listening to anything Ken said ran toward as fast as he could go with his buster ready to stab him. The hunter got within reach but was stopped by a hard punch to the gut. He began to fall and almost landed on his buster but Ken grabbed the back of his collar and stopped him. Ken still looking at Rhea tossed him foward away from the buster. "Thats the same thing his father did at the Tournament" thought Rhea.

* "Sigmund has just saved Nathaniel's life by grabbing his collar and stopping him from landing on his own saber." said the announcer as the crowd cheered. "The finals are next it will be Sigmund versus Richmond.". "Alright Rhea I'm up next give your dad a hug." said Richmond a muscular Humar. "okay, I love you daddy I hope you win" said a little 5 year old Rhea. "Just think you'll be turning 6 next week. said Richmond. "I would like to wish you good luck in our match" said Sigmund who walked over leaving Ken who just turned 6 at the other entrance. "Good luck to you too, hey I see you also have a child how old is he?" asked Richmond. "He just turned 6 last week." replied Sigmund. "My daughter's turning six next week what a surprise." said Richmond. "will the fighters
please enter the ring." said the announcer. "Well looks like we're on." said Sigmund and with that they walked side by side towards the arena battle room. Rhea looked at Ken and seen his eyes with that she would remember him for life.*

Rhea and Ken juts looked into each other's eyes. Rhea jumped down from the table she was standing on and walked toward him. Ken turned around and started heading for the door. The crowd was wondering why they were leaving. Ken and Rhea left the arena and headed to a nearby park. Julia and Vivian followed them to she what was going
to happen. "So who exactly are you?" asked Ken looking at Rhea. "Twelve years ago at the Arena tournament yours and my father fought each other in the finals. Some how your father won, my father who promised a mob leader that he would win so the leader bet on him and was placing a high amout of meseta on him. Well since he lost he was killed for
making him lose so much money. My mother and I had to move away so we wouldn't be killed and since we had no money when she got sick she couldn't get healed and passed away. I had vowed to get revenge for my parents so I planned to kill your father when we finaly met again. "Well to bad for you my parents have been dead since about 3 weeks after that tournament." said Ken looking right into her eyes. Rhea was surprised to hear that, "Well since he is dead I will just kill you so my parents can rest in peace.". "Would you attack a man that is unwilling to fight you?" Ken closed his eyes and instead of seeing Rhea for what she looked like but saw her for what she was a scared child that was alone. "Why did he close his eyes?" thought Julia. "Yes I am willing to kill you if you do not
fight." said Rhea. Ken still had his eyes closed and sat down on the ground, "If you are willing to kill me when I will not fight then do it now." said Ken still with his eyes closed.

Rhea aimed her Heaven Punisher and fired. Julia watched in horror hoping that Ken wouldn't let himself be killed.

Julia and Vivian watched as the blue bullet from the Heaven Punisher flew at Ken. It went flying an inch from his head and Ken showed no fear by keeping his eyes closed. "Couldn't kill me when I refused to fight you huh?" said Ken as he stood up and opened his eyes. "Your just arua emits what you truely are a scared child that is alone." said Ken
as he dusted his pants. Rhea stood there and knew that what Ken was saying was true. The Humar from the arena walekd up holding his stomach from Ken's punch. "Hey I'll get you for that." said the Humar walking up the hill with a few Ranger and Hunter casts and caseals. "Surround him and and open fire." said one of the Racasts. The androids surronded Ken, the ranger droids aimed their weapons and the hunters droids prepared to hack away at him. "You must be going out with him because of his looks." said Ken towards Rhea. Rhea started to get angry "He's not my boyfriend, we're just friends.".
The Humar also got angry and told them to attack. Right as the rangers began to move Ken withdrew a hidden katana and within a instance most of the androids were cut in half or their weapons destroyed.

The Humar was in complete amazment because he didn't even see the blade come out of the sheath. Ken started to walk towards Rhea and the Humar attacked being slapped aside with one blow. Ken and Rhea stood within a half a foot of each other. After a moment of nothing Rhea extended her hand and as Ken extended his hand a Hucaseal put him in a nelson. "I told you I would kill you to avenge my parents now prepare to die." said Rhea as she started a Foie attack. Ken looked ta her and said "Is this a Hucaseal holding me.". The Hucaseal said "yes", "alright then I won't have to feel bad
about doing this." said Ken and soon his golden aura began to show and within a second incenerated the caseal's arms and knocked her back. "I don't think you know who your messing with" said Ken as he stared at Rhea's glowing red hand. Everyone that seen that were complelty shocked, especially Julia and Vivian.

Rhea looked in shocked, stopped the foie spell and lowered her hand. She realized that she was blinded by anger and hate all those years and tears began to form at her eyes. She turned around and began walking away from the park without saying a word. Ken knew excatly what happened in her mind he smiled and walked toward Julia and Vivian.
"Well lets get back to my place, I had eneough fights for today." said Ken. Julia and Vivian nodded and said ok. They arrived at Ken's house he went and took a shower while Julia and Vivian talked abotu what happened. "I never thought Ken was able to do that kind of stuff, I mean incinerating an androids arm with his own enery was awesome." said
Julia excited. "To think that was only two days after he recovered from the fight to." said Vivian. Ken walked out of the shower in a new pair of clothes. "Man that felt good after the light workout today." said Ken as he sat down. "Ken how did you manage to become stronger in only two days after that fight in the waterfall room?" asked Julia. "Some mental and physical training." said Ken as he smiled. Suddenly a knock at the door was
heard. "Wonder who that could be?" said Ken as he got up and walked to the door. "Coming" Ken got to the door and as he opened it he seen who least expected...Rhea.

"Uh well hello." said Ken as he was at a lose of words. "I thought I would come by and apologize for today." said Rhea. "Ok, why don’t you come on in." said Ken being the polite person he tries to be. Ken and Rhea walked into the living room where Julia and Vivian were sitting. They seen Rhea walk in and both jumped up "hey Ken whats the
big idea!" said Julia. "Relax, shes just here to talk, thats Julia watch it shes bites." Julia turned her head. "over there is Vivian a much kinder person.". said Ken. "Hello, I'm certian you know my name." said Rhea holding her folded cloak in her arms. Another knock was heard at the door, "Here sit down and relax I’ll be right back." said Ken as he walked back to the door. "So why are you here gonna try killing him when he isn't paying
attention." said who was sitting on the left side of the couch Julia. "No, I came here to apologize for today if you need to know." said Rhea sitting on the right side of the couch. "No, we don't want to be on the news, but thanks for stopping by." said Ken at the door. "But sir, we want to let the viewers learn more about you." said a familiar voice. "No Thank you" said Ken but Nol managed to push her way into the door. "We're her inside the hunters that cleared the ruins for an interview." said Nol as she talked into the camera while walking backwards into the living room.

Ken looked aggetated as he walked into the living room where Julia, Vivian, and Rhea all sat and were surprised. "Looks like we're gonna be on the news tonight." said Ken as he sat down on the couch inbetween Julia and Rhea. "Alright viewers here comes the interview. "So Ken how old are you and when did you decide to become a ranger?". "I'm 18 years old and I became a ranger at 6." said Ken. "Was your father also a ranger and why did your parents let you become a ranger at such a young age?". "No, he was a hunter and they didn't, they died a few weeks after I turned six so I had to learn how to protect myself." said Ken. "Oh, alright onto the next person, Julia how old are you and when did you become a force?". "I'm 18 and I became a force when I was 12 years old.". "Okay and the last person, Vivian same question.". "I'm 20 years old and I've been a hunter since I was 10.". "Alright viewers thats it for our interview" then Nol noticed Rhea sitting there. "Uh, excuse me Ken, who is this other person?". Ken looked at Rhea and she nodded, "Thats Ranger X." said Ken. Nol was surprised "well folks it also looks like we get to meet Ranger X the famous arena warrior." said Nol into the camera as they began to leave. "Oh wait a minute, I just noticed something, excuse me Ken since your sitting inbetween those two do you have any special relationships between you and one of
them?" asked Nol. Julia's and Rhea's faces turned red, "No" said both of them and Nol left in a hurry after that question.

Ken, Julia, and Vivian were planning on going to the mines after they got some sleep. "Alright since we don't know what we're gonna be fighting in the mines get some rest." said Ken. "Rhea decided that she is also going to go to the mines with us." His couch had a pull out bed, his chair was a recliner, and he had his regular bed. They decided on giving Rhea Ken's bed, Vivian and Julia were gonna sleep on the pull out but Vivian didn't like the feel so she got the recliner and well Ken slept in the pull out with Julia. "Great I get to sleep in the same bed as you." said Julia. "You should be happy since we have no special relationship." said Ken smiling. Soon everyone was asleep except Ken, he went outside in he little backyard and sat under the simulated light of Pioneer 2. Ken sat there and heard someone come out of the door, it was Rhea. "Ken, like I said I'm sorry about what happened, I thought about what you said and you were right, I am nothing but a scared and alone child." said Rhea as she sat down beside Ken. "No problem I'm glad you were able to see the truth." said Ken. As they sat they just started at the stars through ceiling windows. Julia woke up to get a drink and as she walked into the kitchen she seen Ken and Rhea sitting there, and as she watched she seen something she hoped wouldn't happen, Rhea leaned on Ken's shoulder as they looked up. Julia sighed and forgot her drink and went back to the pull out bed and went to sleep.

After everyone woke up and they started to suited up, Julia looked at Ken and Rhea oddly when she seen them. "Something wrong Julia?" asked Ken as he put on his chest armor. "Nothing, nothings wrong." said Julia as she walekd toward Vivian. Ken
just shrugged and walked toward a mirror. "Hey Vivian, I have a question for you." said Julia as she was lacing up her shoes. "Shoot." said Vivian, "What would you do if you seen the person you liked growing 'close' to someone else?" asked Julia. "I would find out if they had more feelings for you then the other person and then ask them out if they do." said Vivian as she was doing her hair. "Thanks", Vivian knew excatly what was
going on and shook her head, "I don't believe she hasn't realized Ken likes her more then a friend." thought Vivian. The group headed to the Ragol transporter and Ken input the coordinates for the Mines. Then they appeared in the first room of Mines.

Chapter 11 A Mother's Touch
The group appeared in the mines and Ken walked over to Julia. "Alright you wanna know how to use that pistol better?" asked Ken. Julia looked at him "sure", "alright get it out.". Julia withdrew her autogun and and aimed it forward, "Alright" Ken got behind her and put his hand over hers to help her aim, Julia began to turn alittle red. "See that point at the end of the barrel and the circle closer to your eye, "Yea", put the point on the target and make sure it is in the center of the cirle." With that Julia aimed at a section of the wall that had a small circle and fired, it hit the circle. "I did it." said Julia
happily. They walked out of the beginning room and walked down a long hallway and Rhea asked Ken a question "Hey Ken, that Katana you used to finish off those androids yesterday what is it?". Ken look at her and said "Its something called an agito that was made in AUW 1975, the tekker said it was a one of a kind, non replica.". "Cool, hey Julia where did you get that red merge from it looks awesome?" asked Rhea. "Oh this, Ken gave it to me along with a level 15 grants and level 11 megid disk." said Julia smiling. "Wow, so are megid and grants really powerful?" asked Rhea. "Yea they are really awesome spells, megid is awesome it passes striaght through the enemies." said Julia. "Cool", as the group reached the end of the hallway they entered robots began to appear. "Whoa robots, we're fighting robots?" yelled Vivian. Ken pulled out his Varista, Julia withdrew her autogun, and Rhea pulled out her Heaven Punisher. Within seconds the advancing robots were put down by either daggers or photon bullets.

"That wasn't as tough as I thought it would be." said Ken but just as he looked at the broken parts a ninja type robot dropped from the ceiling and sliced him with its blade. Julia on instinct casted two spells at once a decent level Zonde and resta. "Man that was painfull, I can't believe I didn't hear him." said Ken as he got back up. They kept moving forward room to room destroying machines left and right until they reched a room where these other robots kept rebuilding themselves. "Why won't these things die." said Ken as he thrusted his agito into the chest of the robot and then fired a round into its head. "They just keep coming." said Julia as she fired shot after shot at one of the Dubchics. Ken looked around and seen a floating disk with orange prongs sticking out. "Julia cover me I'm gonna make a run for that thing." said Ken as he began to run forward. "Gotcha" Julia started firing at the dubchics until one of them opened it right arm and fired a purple beam at Ken hitting him in the back. As Ken fell his agito sliced through part of the switch and they exploded. "Man that hurt, these machines hate me, thats twice those
things hit me." said Ken as he stood up, his back bleeding. "Well your taking it quite well." said Rhea. Julia and Vivian came over from the other side of the room "Ken you ok, sorry I didn't get that robot in time" asked Julia, "No problem." said Ken wiping some oil off his agito. "You should learn to aim and fire faster then your doing, don't use guns if you can't use them well enough to be a decent shot." said Rhea as she casted a medium level Resta on Ken. Julia looked at the ground, "hey lay off she's still learning how to use them properly." said Ken as he sheathed his katana and patted Julia on the shoulder. Rhea felt like a child that was just scoldedby a teacher. The party reached the
transporter to the second sector of the mines.

"I'm ready to take a break all this running around hack and shoot got me beat." said Ken as he found a box to sit on. "Sounds like a good idea" said Julia as she pulled out a mini bunson burner, a bottle of water, and some coffee. She started making some coffee and pulled out some snacks she got at the store before they came to the mines. The
group heard a loud noise come from the room they just cleared. "What was that?" said Vivian, "I don't know but I'm gonna check it out." said Ken as he walked to the door. The door opened and it was the same man from the Waterfall room. "Ferris" said Ken as his eyes squinted. Julia and Vivian started to get alittle spooked because he was here. "Who is that?" asked Rhea, Julia turned to her "Its the man that killed Ken's parents." Rhea looked in shock. "So we meet again Ken, are you ready to join me and serve my master?" said Ferris. "When hell freezes over." said Ken as he stared at Ferris.

"Looks like you made another friend, now I have three people to use against you." said Ferris smiling. "Why don't you just fight me like a man instead of using cowardice as a way to win." said Ken as took of his helmet. Ferris looked at Ken and began to frown in anger, "So then I'll just beat you down and be on my way.". "Bring it, spanky" said Ken, Ferris charged at Ken with blinding speed that Rhea, Julia, and Vivian couldn’t see him. He withdrew his Lavis Cannon and swung at Ken, but to his shock Ken withdrew his Agito and blocked the swing with ease. "How, how did you improve so much after are last battle?" asked Ferris backing up alittle bit. Julia and Vivian were surprised that he
could fight back since they seen the other fight.

"Think of it as a parting gift from my father, and its only 25% of my power also."
said Ken as smiled at Ferris. "Impossible you managed to acces your power." said Ferris backing away showing alittle fear. Ken began to laugh "why don't you try and fight me now that I'm more than you can handle." said Ken as he made his golden aura appear. "You can't beat me." said Ferris as he used as much power as possible to swing slice after
slice at Ken just to have it blocked by Ken's agito. "Thats it" said Ferris as he jumped into
the air using the same attack he did in the caves. The energy beam was block by Ken's golden glowing agito. Ferris full of fear ran away to the opposite door and as he ran said one thing "I'll get you when you can only protect yourself or your friends.". "Coward he fears what he can't handle instead of standing his ground." said Ken as sheathed his katana and walked back to the transporter room. "That was amazing, the last time he used that attack you were completely defensless but now you can easily block it." said Julia amazed.
"Your wrong, can't you see that his energy is spent, his used most of it to block that attack." said Rhea. Julia and Vivian looked at Ken he was heavily breathing and looked like he just ran 15 miles non stop. Ken sat down like a brick "I'm gonna get some sleep, I need it." said Ken as he fell asleep.

"Well we should just sit here so none of those robots will get him." said Rhea as she used some of the water Julia brought on a piece of cloth and put it on Ken's head. Julia began to get alittle jealous of Rhea. "Well I'm gonna take alittle nap as well." said Vivian, "I think I'll join you" said Rhea. "Do you think you can manage to be a good lookout." said Rhea with an arrogant tone. "Just go to sleep, and let me be." said Julia. After they went to sleep Julia got up and walked into the other room thinking about the fight. She remembered the entire thing and then she replayed the part were Ken blocked the energy shot until she realized tha the did use most of his energy to defend himself. Then she thought about the earlier fight where Ken looked more spent then that and jumped to save them from being killed. She just walked around the room looking at the robot pieces and thinking about what was happening. Then she seen a mysterious light come from the other room. Curious she walked over and seen a Fomarl sitting on a box. She looked like she was in her mid thrities. "Hello" said the Fomarl getting as she seen Julia walk in the room. "Um hello, I didn't know there was anyone else in the mines." said Julia as she walked in and sat down by the Fomarl. The ystarted to talk about magic and other things.

"How did he manage to get so strong, what did he mean a parting gift from his father?, argh this is confusing. How am I going to make him weak and break his spirit?" thought Ferris as he sat in a room somewhere in the mines. "I know excatly how to break him, I'll have his freinds do it for me. This is going to be easier then I thought, his friends
are his strentgh as well as his weakness. I'll just the Demoness of Stolen Souls to push them in the right direction." thought Ferris. "Master I request the aid of the Demon of Stolen Souls to use those ones close to the desired one." said Ferris outloud. A Flash of light started and then a being of darkness appeared. "The master said you requested my assistance, I will agreed on one condition I get the souls of those who I most possess
first." said the glowing red eyed demoness. "Agreed but first use them to break his spirit, have them attack him and make him have to kill them. That should break his spirit enough to have him join us." said Ferris. "Your intelligence is great, I'm looking forward to work with you again." said the Demoness. Ferris smiled and said "Alright make haste and hurry this up." The Demoness headed for the transporter room.

Julia started talking to the Fomarl about Ken, Rhea, and herself. "Sounds like either he likes you or he likes her." said the Fomarl. "Yea I thought he liked me but then all that happened and now I think he just likes me as a friend." said Julia throwing a piece of metal on the ground. "And since they had the same thing happen to them when they were kids they are like meant for each other." said Julia throwing a metal piece to the ground. "Did you ever think that he comforts her because she isn’t as strong as you?" said the Fomarl. Julia looked at her and asked "what do you mean as strong as me?". "I mean you seem to have a strong will while that other girl has a weak will and seeks to become stronger. Ken may have seen that and decided to help her become stronger and it seems to you that he likes her." said the Fomarl smiling. Julia looked at her eyes and noticed they
seemed simliar to Ken's. "Well thanks for helping me out with everything maybe we'll meet again." said Julia as she got up and headed for the door.

Julia walked back to the transport room and noticed something, Vivian, Rhea, and Ken were gone. She heard some noise coming from another room and head towards it, she seen Ken still weak dodging attacks from Vivian and Rhea. Julia ran over to where they were fighting and Ken was just struck by Vivian’s blade dance. "Ken are you alright?, What are you guys doing." yelled Julia. They were about to finish him but they looked at Julia. Julia started to charge up a foie spell and launched it towards both of them. Ken got up and blocked it from hitting each of them. "Don't, their not themselves." said Ken as he fell to the ground. She looked at Vivian and Rhea and noticed their eyes were different. "Stop it you two, whats wrong with you." said Julia. Vivian looked at Rhea and nodded, Rhea then charged at Julia and hit her straight in the stomach knocking her down. Julia looked up and seen two red glowing eyes by the ceiling. She got up and yelled "why don't you fight me instead of using them you coward.". "Hmmm looks like she spotted me, well I don't think she should be much of a problem and her soul should be a good one." thought the Demoness. The Demoness came down from the ceiling and spoke told Rhea to stop. "So you want to fight me?" asked the Demoness. "Yea after you tell me who you are and why your here." said Julia. "I'm the Demoness of Stolen Souls, and I'm here to break his spirit and claim yours and their
souls." said the Demoness.

Julia got up holding her stomach and said "I'll fight you and I'll defeat you." said
Julia as she pulled her out her autogun and fired at the being. The Demoness dodge the bullet with ease and shot what appeared to be talons of black energy at Julia. The talons made Julia fall back and land on the ground and lose her autogun. "Your too weak to even try to fight me, I should just take your soul right now." said the Demoness as she walked
towards Julia. She was about to summon her own power and steal Julia's soul but out of no where a golden bullet ripped through her right shoulder. Ken was standing up breathing heavily holding his Varista. "You wretched boy I'll get you for that." said the Demoness holding her shoulder while purple blood was bleeding out of it on her hand. "Good this will give Julia time to get away." thought Ken. "Free my friends and let them be and I will....." Julia knew what he was trying to do and before Ken could finish what he was going to say "Ken don't worry I'll finish her off myself." said Julia as she smiled. The Demoness looked at both of them and fired a black sphere at Ken., it slammed him into a wall and covered in black energy he couldn't move. "Thats so he can’t help you this
time." said the Demoness as she turned her head back to Julia. "He helped me enough already." said Julia as she began to charge up a Rafoie spell. "Do you honestly think that spell can hurt me." said the Demon. "Lets find out .. 'Rafoie' the spell caused an explosion and the Demoness dodge it laughing. "Hah I told you it wouldn't work." said the Demoness smiling. Then she looked at Julia's other hand and began to show fear, Julia also charged up Grants and used the Rafoie as a distraction. "Think of this as a present from me and
Ken." said Julia smiling as she launched the grants at the Demoness. She cried in pain as
the Grants destroyed her. The black energy the covered Ken on the wall disappeared and
Vivian and Rhea fell to the ground unconscious like they were asleep.

Julia walked over to Ken, "well thought through plan Julia." said Ken as he sat on the ground bleeding. Julia smiled 'Resta' "I'm glad you gave me the disk" said Julia as she sat next to him. She leaned on Ken’s should and started to talk to him about the Fomarl she met in the other room. "She had eyes that looked like yours Ken." said Julia as she began to fall asleep, Ken smiled and put his arm around Julia and fell asleep.
He knew excatly who that Fomarl was.

Alright before I post the next chapter I want to knwo who do you think Ken ends up going with Julia or Rhea. The next chapter reveals who he goes with but I want to know what the readers think.

Chapter 12 A Bond is Realized

Vivian and Rhea woke up holding their heads, "Man that was a freaky dream." said Vivian as she stood up. "Yea I had a freaky one too." said Rhea also standing up. "Wait a minute how did we get into this room?" said Rhea looking around. They looked at each other and then seen Ken and Julia sleeping by the wall. Ken's arm was still around Julia and then they realized that thier nightmare happened. "Should we wake them up?" asked Vivian, "Nah, because if that really did happen then they need some sleep." said Rhea as she looked at Julia with a new found respect because of what she done.

Julia woke up and looked up at Ken's face, he was still sleeping peacefully. She smiled and started to shake him "wake up sleepy we have work to do.". Ken woke up, started to blink and smiled back at Julia. They looked at each other and both said "have a nice sleep" and started to laugh. They got up and started looking for Rhea and Vivian.
"Looks like you regained your energy." said Julia as she walked with Ken. They found Rhea and Vivian sitting in the transporter room talking. "Ready to go to the other sector of mines?" asked Ken "You know I think we should do a quest to increase our medical supplies." said Rhea. "Yea it does sound like a good idea." said Vivian. "I don't have a
problem with that, do you Julia?" Ken asked. "Nope, not at all." said Julia as she prepared to call up a Ryuker. The group walked to the Hunter's guild. Ken approached the Counter and began talking with the counter girl to see if there were any decent quests. "As a matter of fact there a quest in located in the mines, the client named it Knowing
Ones Heart." said the counter Girl. "What a title" said Rhea. "Well I guess that will do it, where can I meet the client?" asked Ken. The counter girl pointed over in the direction of a Fonewearl trying to be a ranger. He started to shake his head as they walked over to her.

"Are you Elly Person, the client of the Knowing One's Heart misson?" asked Ken. "Yes, yes I am." said Elly a tiny person compared to Ken’s hiegth, she was even shorter then Julia and Julia was about 5 foot 2 inches. Ken was about 5 foot 10 inches. "Alright we are here to complete this misson." said Vivian. "Good I was starting to think that no one would take it up." said Elly. "Well" Ken was about to say something mean and Julia
smacked him on the back. "Excuse me?" said Elly, "nothing, nothing at all." said Ken as Julia smiled at him. "Alright all you have to do is help me find a man named Calus who is some where in the mines." said Elly. "This will be easy we already have a pipe set up for the second sector of mines." said Julia. "Alright we let me contact him and we'll can be on our way." said Elly. She flipped open her walkie talkie and gave him a message and the group went to Julia's Ryuker.

They appeared back in the first room of the area known as Mines 2 and began to walk foward. She got a message from Calus and the group listened. "Well he's here now all we have to do find him." said Elly. "She's doing all this for the man she loves. kinda makes you think." said Rhea as she glanced over to Ken. Julia noticed this and looked the other way. They walked into a room and some Gilchics appeared they were swiftly dealt with by Julia with a razonde. "I forgot how powerful spells were, maybe I should have stayed a forced instead of becoming a ranger." said Elly. "Well maybe your were as b" Julia smacked his back again. "What, did you say something?" Elly asked. "No nothing at all." said Ken smiling. Rhea noticed what Julia did and started shaking her head. Elly got another messgae from Calus telling her not to come. "Would he make up his mind, come
don't come, come, don't come." said Ken. "He likes to kid around." said Elly. "Right." said Ken shaking his head. Julia started laughing. They kept going from each room killing robots as they went. They came up to a room that had a giant robot in it.

"Wow them some big bitches." said Ken pulling out his Varista. The Garanz fired four missles and Ken hit all of them with 4 shots from his Varista. "Wow your a great shot, maybe someday I'll be as skilled as that." said Elly. "I wouldn't get your hopes up, you'll never get that good." said Rhea as she pulled out her Heaven Punisher and fired a few rounds at the Garanz. In a matter of seconds the Garanz fired about 20 missles. "HOLY SHIT!" said Ken as the group started dodging the missles. The missles self destructed and Ken fired about 5 shots at the Garanz dropping it. "Rhea next time you try and take one of those down do it so it doesn't get to fire those missles again." said Ken as
he help up Elly. Rhea felt alittle stupid about what she did. "Alright it looks like we'll be
coming up on Calus." said Elly as she looked at her radar. The group followed Elly as she led them ot the room were Calus was suppose to be. The group just seen a giant computer. "Well thats odd" said Ken as he leaned on one of the keyboards. "Get off of me you dult." said the computer. Ken's eyes widened "You heard that too right." said Ken as he
back away from the Keyboard. "Calus, is that you?" asked Elly. "yes I didn't want you to come here even though I wanted to see you." said Calus. After some dialogue with Calus Elly back up his memory and he shut down.

"Well looks like your job is done, come back with me and recieve you money." said Elly as she began to cry. "I'll stay here and look for the transporter for the other sector" said Ken. "I'll stay with here too and help you out." said Julia. Rhea was about to say the same thing but Julia beat her to it. Elly called up a ryuker and they left. "Looks like we should find that transporter" said Ken as they left the computer room.

Vivian and Rhea started to talk as they walked back to the hunter's guild with Elly.
"So Vivian howcome Ken and Julia look like the don't get along but do get along?" asked Rhea. "It's because their a perfect couple they have fun and care for each other deeply." said Vivian. Elly over heard this and added her two cents "personally I think Rhea and Ken would make a good couple just because they are each very skilled rangers and seem
to have much in common.". "Something other then classes and common hobbys are needed in a relationship." said Vivian. "Well , what do you think a relationship needs?" asked Rhea. "Its needs both people to love each other with all their heart, you two don't know this but when we were exploring caves that man that Ken faught in mines was about to kill Julia and me. Ken gave up his last bit of strentgh to defend us and almost died."
said Vivian. Rhea's eyes widened "theres one things that throughs off the 'he did it for Julia part' saying you both would have died.". Vivian nodded and Elly said "good point, maybe your right and you still have a chance, give it a try."

Ken and Julia cleared a few more rooms and found a big transporter like in the caves. "Looks like we found the last area of this place." said Ken. "Yea I wonder what we'll end up fighting." said Julia. "Well lets wait until Rhea and Vivian get back before we go in." said Ken. They sat there and waited and then they seen a door open and Rhea
and Vivian walked in. "Looks like you found it." yelled Vivian as they walked towards Ken and Julia. "Well you guys ready to fight a big fight?" asked Ken. "I can't wait, it should be fun." said Rhea and she walked next to Ken. The group walked into the transporter and appeared in a Giagantic room filled with monitors. "Looks homey." said
Ken with a snicker. The next thing that happened was a face appeared on the screen. "What was that?" said Julia. "I dunno but it looked like it hates us." said Vivian. The started to destroy some of the screen and some totem like things popped out of the floor. It zapped everyone with a powerful electric beam. Ken fired a few rounds at one of the
poles and destroyed it. "Thats it fire at the poles when they appear." said Ken

The group started to destroy the poles and before they knew it the room began to shake. A giant machine appeared through the ceiling and fired missles at everyone. Ken and Rhea fired their pistols at its missle launching side while Julia used Razonde on the whole thing, and Vivian attack its regenerator. The machine attacked Rhea with a
glowing sphere and tapped her in a wall. "Rhea!" Ken yelled and ran over and tried to destroy the wall. he managed to clear a segment and got her free but before he could get out of the way he was struck by a huge energy ball and was nocked out. "Ken!" yelled Julia and Rhea at the same time. Julia ran over and started cast Reverser "Rhea cover me so it doesn't hit me.", Rhea nodded and kept the machine’s attention. Ken was back and awake and soon enough the missle launcher was detroyed and the rest of it followed. "Good job everyone" said Ken as the machine fell from the ceiling. They went through the teleporter and appeared in a hallway the door was sealed. "How are we suppose to get through here?" asked Vivian. The group was puzzeled and then Ken looked at the door "These symbols look familair, like I've seen them before." said Ken as he looked at the door. "Really?" said Julia with a bit of curoisty. "It says something about the three
totems are the key to this door and the three spirits are the key to the salvation of the universe." said Ken. Julia, Rhea, and Vivian were surprised that he could translate the symbols. "Lets go back and relax for a few days before we find out how to open the door." said Rhea. Everyone agreed and went back to Pioneer II.

They went to Ken's house and ordered a Pizza. "Man that was an awesome fight." said Vivian. "Yea, Ken I'm sorry I got you hit by that energy ball." said Rhea. "Well it was that or let you get hit by it." said Ken. Julia began to feel left out, then there was a knock at the door and Julia went and got the pizza. Ken turned on the TV and they watched a movie that was playing on a channel. It was considered a sci fi movie because
it took place on a planet no one heard of and instead of using photon weapons the people used metal projectiles called bullets. It was a sci fi war movie between two nations. Julia and Rhea both sat next to Kenas they watched the movie. "That would be odd not having magic and using a limited supply of ammunition instead of photon" said Julia. "Well sorry to break it to you but using bullets was what our ancestors did before photon was
discovered." said Rhea. The movie was about an hour and a half long and after it finished the group planned to go to sleep. Ken and Julia slept on the pull out bed, Rhea slept on Ken's bed, and Vivian got the recliner. That night in their dreams both Julia and Rhea meet the Fomarl from the mines.

They were in the mines and each thought the other was just a part of the dream. "Hey Rhea is that you?" asked Julia. "Yea its me, that you Julia?", "Yea" "Well this is alittle odd, we're in the same dream." “Yes you are and its time for you two to grow up." said a voice. "Whose there?" yelled Rhea, then the Fomarl walked out of the shadows, "hey your the Fomarl from the mines" said Julia. Rhea looked at Julia and then at the Fomarl "Whats going on here?" asked Rhea. "Its time for you two to stop trying to tear Ken in half." said the Fomarl. "What are you talking about?" said Julia. "I'm talking about you two messing with Ken's feelings, you each think that he likes the other more then you and keep trying to get his attention. Only one of you is right and its time you
figured it out and let his true love be with him." said the Fomarl. Both Julia and Rhea looked at each other and then at the Fomarl. "Could you tell us who his true love is then?" asked Julia. "Yes after you tell me the reason you think Ken loves the other one more then you." said the Fomarl. Julia started "I think he loves Rhea more because they are both rangers, and have suffered through the same troubles as children.". Then Rhea went "I think he loves Julia because they have more fun together and because they can always surprise each other.".

"Well thats a good start and what I'm about to show you is who Ken really loves." said the Fomarl as she changed the darkness into what happened after Ken fought Ferris in the caves. It showed Ken training with Sigmund, he kept going even thought he was to weak to even hit back. "Ken trained with his father's spirit in order to get stronger. One thought kept him from giving up and you want to know what that thought was. It was
this" the pictures of Ken's training froze and and then pictures appeared of Julia. "She is what kept him from dieing, his love for her kept passion in his heart so he would be able to keep her safe.". Rhea stared at the pictures and then fell to the ground like she lost her breath. Julia ran over and made sure that she was alright. "I'm sorry if that seemed a bit harsh but I couldn't let Ken destroy himself because of this love triangle." said the Fomarl as the pictures disappeared and everything went back to being dark. Julia kneeled next to
Rhea, Rhea had her face buried in her knees. Julia noticed she was crying, Julia didn't know what to say so she just said "Listen I'm sure you'll find the right guy, don't lose hope.".

The next day after everyone woke up except for Ken who slept in. Julia walked into Ken's bedroom where Rhea was sleeping to see if she was okay. Rhea was laying on the bed her face opposite from the door. Julia walked in feeling bad because of what happened. "So you ready for today?" asked Julia, Rhea just layed there silently. "Awe come on cheer up we're gonna go participate in the tag team tournament." said Julia as she tried to cheer up Rhea. Julia sighed and left the room, Rhea just layed there thinking.

Thank you for the feed back. I have a great idea for a tournament fight that will make their relationship bloom as in one asking the other out. Also if you want I can include your Fomarl character because I have a plan for Vivian being out of action but still in the story helping.

Chapter 13 Two New Additions
Julia walked in from Ken's bedroom alittle depressed and seen Ken. "Hey whats wrong with you?" asked Ken as he was button his shirt. "Oh nothing just Rhea's alittle depressed." said Julia sitting down on the couch. "Really why is she depressed?" asked Ken, "because she found something out that didn't turn out right." said Julia. "Well hopefully it doesn't affect her to much." said Ken as he headed towards his bedroom. Ken knocked on the door "hey you decent?", "yea" said Rhea. Ken opened the door and walked in and seen Rhea laying in bed. "Hey come on get ready we're gonna go join the tag team tournaments." said Ken as he threw her some clothes. "I don't feel like fighting today." said Rhea as she just layed there. "Alright then just come to the arena and watch." said Ken as he began heading towards the door. Rhea finally got up and went into the living room.

They headed towards the arena and Ken and Julia signed up for the Tag Team Tournament . The group went to the seats until they were called to the ring. "First up in T.T.T.A. is Rini and DnaX versus Omega pink the reigning tag team champions." A 17 year old light blue haired FOmarl and a short pink and white Hucaseal with a pony tail, that was assembled 13 years ago making her 13. Ken sensed something about both of them and knew not to take them lightly. "Alright teams ready, GET SET, and FIGHT!" yelled the annoucer through a microphone. Each team went against the corresponding class, Hunewearl versus caseal and marl versus marl. The hunewearl swung at the caseal but because of her heigth she easily evaded the swing and countered with a shot to the chin putting the wearl down. Rini used her ice techniques because she was specialized in them. She fired a barta across the ground and the other Fomarl dofdged the attack and
launched a foie. Rini used Rabarta to stop the blow and surround the Fomarl with a giant wall of ice. She then used Gibarta to launch many ice needles at her trapped enemy and forced her to give up. "The winner Rini and DnaX." yelled the annoucer as he raised both of their arms.

"Well that was a good match" said Julia as she sipped some pop. Ken was curious on how the Fomarl managed to quickly read the movements of the other force. "Next up in the T.T.T.A. is Ken and Julia versus Mr. Pipples and Nightfire." Ken and Julia walked to the arena and seen their first foes. Mr. Pipples was a tall and slender Hucast and
Nightfire was a medium sized Racaseal. They walked over by them and and Mr. Pipples said "these organic enemies will be easily defeat." and Nightfire began to laugh. Ken looked at Mr. Pipples and then at Nightfire and turned to Julia "those android are gonna be beaten very very fast.", Julia nodded. They walked into the arena and the Annoucer
began. "Fighters get ready, FIGHT!" and before anyone attacked Julia said something very unexpected "I'll take you both on one at a time." Ken looked at her with surprise. The androids began to laugh and they agreed. "Poor humans and newmans, they are so weak." said Nightfire. Ken began to laugh and nodded Julia on. The Nightfire withdrew a
rifle and aimed at Julia but before she could pull the trigger Julia called a zonde and blew off her arms. "The next one is gonna be alot more damaging." said Julia as Nightfire fell to the ground. Rini looked at Ken and wondered why he wasn't doing anything, "Why do you look at that human he doesn't stand a chance against the android in physical combat and he isn't even helping out the girl." said DnaX. "It is because I can't read his mind even when I try my hardest." said Rini as she stared at Ken and DnaX showed alittle amazment in her yellow eyes.

Ken looked at Julia with a smile and said "Good job.". Mr. Pipples looked at Julia
angerly "the only reason you beat her was because you used techniques, with out those your nothing.". He then withdrew his gladius and charged at Julia with blinding speed and almost put the gladius through her stomach. Mr. Pipples thought he had managed to put the light blade through Julia but then noticed he missed. He didn't know how "How did
that miss." he said as he backed up. Julia didn't even know how she dodged that. "How did Mr. Pipples miss?" asked DnaX. Rini looked at her and smiled "you know that weak human you just talked about, he pulled her back as the blade came and it only made her bleed lightly.". DnaX began to look at Ken in shock. Then Mr. Pipples looked at Ken
with a smile on his face "You, you know how she dodged it tell me.". Ken looked at him with a big grin and told him "I pulled her back so the blade only got close to her skin it did make her bleed a bit though. You really shouldn’t try and kill people when you don't understand them.". Mr. Pipples and Julia looked at him in shock. "Impossible a human can move that fast." said Mr. Pipples as he brought up his gladius.

"I tell you what I'll fight you bare handed and rip you in half, you can even use that galdius if you want." said Ken as he took off his button shirt so it would get cut up. Mr. Pipples began to laugh and agreed, "That is an empty threat.". Mr. Pipple ran at Ken and swung his gladius and to the crowd's surprise Ken grabbed the Photon blade and stopped it. He closed his palm breaking the gladius's photon charger making it useless. Mr.
Pipples back up and looked at Ken's bloody hand and he showed no sign of pain. "No, no way you just did that." said Mr. Pipples as he put Ken into a bear hug. He squeezed Ken as hard as possible until he heard some of his bones crack and then his eyes a screen popped up saying torso functions were failing. He threw Ken back and looked at his torso
Ken started ripping his stomach area in half.

Mr. Pipples began to back away, "So androids do show fear. I thought you said humans weren't that strong" said Ken as he started walkign towards him. The crowd looked in amazement at the android's torso. Ken jumped at him and kicked him right in
the side of his head, it was a deathblow that would kill humans and newmans in one hit. The android couldn't bring its neck striaght up and it raised its arm and surrendered. Rini and DnaX looked at Ken with amazment, Rini because he can block her mental powers and DnaX because he would have ripped an android in half if he kept going. Julia and Ken
walked back to their seats and Vivian and Rhea congratulated them. A few rounds of fighting went by and the finals were next. "Alright people the teams in the finals are Rini and DnaX and Ken and Julia. Both teams have proved themselves time and time again." said the annoucer. "The finals will begin in 15 minutes, teams take time to prepare and get ready." said the annoucer.

Rini and DnaX walked over to were Ken, Julia, Vivian, and Rhea were all sitting. "Hello, we thought we would stop by and say good luck in the next match." said Rini. DnaX gave Ken an evil look for two reasons she really doesn't like guys and cause of what he almost did to Mr. Pipples. "Forgive my friend here she is some what of a guy hater and well what you did to that android. Ken laughed "heh well hopefully she'll realize that not all guys are bad and also good luck to you too.". The annoucer called the teams to the arena. Julia and Ken got up and walked next to Rini and DnaX. They arrived at the arena and the annoucer started the fight. Julia went against DnaX and Ken and Rini stared each other down. Julia withdrew her autogun and fired a round at her, DnaX dodged the attack and then tried hitting her with a kick but Julia dodged the attack.
Rini tried using her mind reading to see what Ken was going to do but his mental block wouldn't allow her. DnaX got Julia in a half nelson and was about to make her fall asleep but before she could Julia put both her hands on each side of DnaX's head and used Zonde. Both of them fell to the ground knocked out. Ken and Rini looked at what happened and then looked at each other. "Looks like its our turn to fight" said Ken as he went into a defensive stance. Rini tried to read his movements but it still didn't work, Ken charged at her withdrawing his agito 1975 and she used Rabarta as a shield. After a few attacks from each of them Ken did another charge but instead of using his agito he began to use Rafoie. Rini somehow read his movements and jumped backward dodging the explosion

But a split second after a Zonde bolt hit her she then realized that Ken allowed her to read that move so she would become off balanced. "Alright both fighters are knocked
out so Ken and Julia win the finals." yelled the annoucer. ken walked over to Rini and used resta, she looked up and seen him leave. She then went and picked up DnaX and they left the arena also. Ken and the group arrived back at his house and talked about the fights. They were still surprised that he could rip an android apart. "That was really cool
and also the part were you helped Julia dodge the gladius that was freaking awesome." said Vivian. Rhea also joined in on the excitement and then a knock at the door was heard. "I wonder who the could be, oh God please don’t be Nol, please God please." said Ken as he walked toward the door. He opened the door and seen DnaX and Rini standing
there. "Uh hello again, would you like to come in?" asked Ken. Rini nodded and Dnax followed her in. They started talking about the tournament and after that they sat in an odd silence. Rini broke the silence "We also stopped by to see if we could join you group and help you out.". Ken and the rest looked at each other and then at them "Sure welcome to the group." said Rhea. "Looks like we will be able finish exploring Ragol soon after that door opens." said Ken. DnaX still gave Ken an evil look and Julia noticed and said "what exactly do you have against guys?".

Chapter 14 The First Totem and The Ice Melts
DnaX looked at Julia and answered her question, "The professor that created me was always womanizing his assissants and used their features to form my body. I then seen these activities take place after I went out into the world.". Julia looked at her and said "not all guys are like that and since I can't change your mind you'll need to see it for yourself.". DnaX shrugged and turned back to the rest of the group and listened on what
was going to happen tommorow. Ken and Rini where talking about the sealed door and figured to go back and explore the area of Ragol to see if they missed something. With that most of the group went to sleep. Ken went out to his back yard and sat there alone for alittle bit. DnaX not needing any sleep watch Julia wake up and go out there with him. She watched them talk to each other and wondered what they were saying. Julia leaned on Ken's shoulder and DnaX watched as they just sat there not doing anything. They finnaly came in and went to sleep, Julia slept the pull out bed with Rini and Ken got a
sleeping bag and a pillow.

After everyone woke up they geared up for exploring the forest. They each paired up with another to form three teams of two. Rini and Vivian, Rhea and Julia, and Ken and DnaX. They went to the transporter and the teams split up. Rini and Vivian started walking through a bunch of trees killing some boomas. Rini began to talk to Vivian about what happened since the yall started the adventure. This is where Rini learned about how Ken, Julia, Vivian, and Rhea all met, the battles with Ferris and the Demoness of Stolen Souls. She was curious on how Ken had the power to block her
mental abilities though and guessed it had something to do with his power.

Ken and DnaX were walking through a semi wooded area and met no enemies what so ever. DnaX was angry that Rini stuck her with him. They reached a 40 foot crevice and wondered how they were gonna cross. "Doesn't that beat all." said Ken as he
looked to see if they could go around. "What with your amazing strentgh and speed can't you jump this?" said DnaX with a big helping sarcasim and arrogance. "No I could jump this fine, but I don't know if you could make it." said Ken as he walked away from the crevice. DnaX started to get angry and said "I could jump this without a bit of effort." as she crossed her arms. Ken started running towards the crevice and jumped, .....he landed several feet from the edge and stood up "Then jump it already." said Ken with a smile. DnaX looked in shock "If he can do it then I can as well." she thought as she backed up from it. She got about 20 feet away from the crack and started to run fast as she could and jumped. She was about 7 feet to short and started falling, Ken jumped in after her and
caught her, and smacked straight into the other side grabbing onto an outcropping of rock.

His face was bleeding and he was cussing up a storm "damn f***ing andriod to proud to admit help to jump a f***ing crevice, making me jump in after her stupid ass.". DnaX looked at the rocks as they climbed higher and higher back to the surface looking at the blood smeared on the wall. "You know I can hear you right?" said DnaX, "Good then that means I won't have to repeat it when we get back to the top." said Ken as he kept climbing. She began to feel bad and understood what Julia said the other day. She seen that not all guys were the way the professor was. They finnaly got to the top and
Ken tossed DnaX to the ground, he was out of breath from carrying both of their body weigth up about 5 stories. DnaX looked at his face his nose was bleeding and his face was cut up. "Now how are we gonna get across that crevice." thought Ken to himself as he sat down on a stump. DnaX got up and walked over to a creek and pulled out a peice of
cloth from her inventory. She put it in the creek and walked back over to Ken and handed it to him. Ken looked at her and smiled and she smiled back.

Ken grabbed DnaX and put her over his shoulder and ran towards the crevice and jumped. He landed and set her down and said "there now we can continue" and right as he finished that sentence they got a message from Rhea and Julia. "Hey Ken we found a big pole over here we think its what we're looking fo see you soon." said Julai via message. Ken looked at his radar and noticed they were on the other side of the crevice, he smacked his head and said "awe man, they did that on purpose.", DnaX started laughing. "Its not funny." said Ken as he picked her up again and jumped over the crevice again. They headed towards Julia and Rhea's postion and seen that Rini and Vivian were closing in also.

As Ken and DnaX got closer Ken looked over to Central Dome. He stopped walking and started heading towards it. "where you going?" asked DnaX as she realized he wasn't walking with her. "Tell the rest of the goup to meet me there I'm gonna check
something out." said Ken as he started running towards central dome. DnaX was alittle confused but went to the group. When she arrived she seen the group looking at the giant sized pole. "Hmm lets see the only thing that looks out of place is this." said Julia as she pressed this odd little switch. The pole started shaking and started glowing "Get down its a bomb." said Vivian diving on the ground. Nothins happened and the rest of the group got up. "Well anyways looks like we found our keys." said Rhea. Then Julia noticed something "hey where is Ken?, DnaX where is Ken?" asked Julia. "Oh he went to the central dome." said DnaX as she pointed to the dome and a explosion was seen. Julia and
the rest of the group started to get worried.

They ran towards the Central Dome where a piece of it just landed and smoke could be seen. "Oh man I hope Ken's alright." said Julia as she ran up to the door. They looked at the door it was too damaged to open it. "We need another way in." said Julia as she started pacing at a high speed. They looked and seen a non working transporter, "maybe that still works." said Rini as they ran over to it. They started messing with the
electronics and DnaX switched a wire and it started up. "Good job DnaX." said Rhea as they started to walk into it. They entered the dome and it was still the same except for a giant hole in the ceiling. They seen a giant dragon and Ken on top of it's head, "I thought the dragon was killed?" said Vivian. "This must be a different one." said Rini as
they seen Ken stabbing the dragon in the head with his agito swearing at it. Next thing that happens is Ken is bucked off of it and almost lands on Rini. He looked at the group and smiled "Fun fun fun" and Julia, Rhea, and Rini all smacked Ken in the back of the head. "Ouch, I'm being triple teamed, what was that for?" said Ken rubbing his head. "For fighting this thing alone and worrying me." said Julia, "For worrying me too." said Rhea, and Rini said "for almost landing on me." DnaX looked at the three and then behind Ken...SMACK
...everyone looked at her. Ken started making a wimpering sound,then he got up and started walking around rubbing his head,"SON OF A BITCH THAT HURT.".

"What, I was just doing what you guys were doing." said DnaX innocently. Julia, Rhea, and Rini were about to chew her out but Ken stopped them
"shes right, your all bad influences." said Ken pointing at them and smiling. "Anyways we have a giant reptile to take care of." said Ken as started walking towards the odd dragon. They assumed that it
breathed fire but Vivian, Rhea, and DnaX were soon to find out they were wrong. "What the hell it froze them." yelled Ken as he dodged some of it's attacks. He dived into a foot print it left behind and started firing at it. Rini and Julia were across the room and they yelled "What should we do?", Ken yelled back "The hell do I know I'm keeping it busy try and free the others.". Rini and Julia got up and ran to their frozen friends and thawed them with foie spells. They all went to a foot print and started doing what they could. Rini and Dnax yelled "Hey everyone gets its attention and we'll attack when its not focused.". They yelled ok and Ken and Rhea got up and started distracting it by firing round after round at it. Julia joined in with her newly perchased railgun and Vivian ran up
to its foot and started to hack away. Rini and DnaX got on its back and Rini casted a Rabarta freezing some of its scales. "DnaX break the scales with your DB saber." said Rini, DnaX nodded.

The Dragon cried in pain as it's back was being hacked opened. It fell and and both Rini and DnaX slid off. "Well looks like we win, I wanna cookie." said Ken smiling. Julia looked at him and jumped on him and gave him a kiss. "Thats better then a cookie." said Ken as they finished. The group walked back to the Pioneer 2 transporter and
enjoyed the fresh air of open space. Instead of going back to Ken's house they decided to camp out in the Ragol forest. They sat around a camp fire and talked about the past. Most of the group fell asleep. Ken and Julia went to a near by pond and sat in the moonlight. They began to kiss and then it lead to other events. After that they too finally
went to sleep.

Rini seen DnaX sitting in the moonlight looking at the stars. "Whats wrong with you?" asked Rini instead of using her mind reading abilities.
"Before today I thought all men were perverted and immoral beings but then Ken saved me from failing down a crevice." She played a hologram of the event and Rini began to laugh about some of its happenings. "Well its good that you finally found out that kindness is everywhere." said Rini smiling and walking away to her sleeping bag. DnaX thought about that and smiled "yes, yes it is.".

Chapter 15 The Search For the Second Key
Ken woke up and seen Julia laying infront of him still asleep. He put his arm around her and heard a voice "Ken, Julia, where are you guys?". It was Vivian they must have got worried when they didn’t see them around the fire. Julia began to wake up and looked at Ken smiling. Then they heard another voice "Excuse me Ken-" before they could finish Ken knew exactly who it was. "Oh God no, its her, quick get up and run." said Ken as he got up. Julia rubbing her eyes said "who, who is it.", "Its Nol." said Ken quickly putting on his armor, Julia's eyes widened. They quickly got ready and ran over
to Vivian. She looked at them and their sloppy clothes "Hmm looks like you two have been busier then I thought". They looked at each other and then at Vivian embarrassed.

They seen Rini and DnaX sneaking quietly by the trees so Nol wouldn't spot them. "I think we should do the same thing." said Ken as they grabbed their stuff and started sneaking away from Nol. Nol looked around at the used camping grounds "wonder were they went?" she thought to herself. Then she seen Julia's white hair and Rini's light blue
hair sticking out in the wooded area. "Hey there you guys are." said Nol as her and the camera guy ran over to them. They looked back and seen Nol heading for them "Run!!!, she spotted us." yelled Ken at the top of his lungs. The group started running away from Nol.

"Hey get back here I want an interview." said Nol as she chased after them. "No, go away, leave us alone." said Rini as they tried to lose her. Nol managed to keep up with the group while the camera man was left behind. They reached the crevice that Ken and DnaX came up to the other day. "Crap no where to go." said Rhea as Nol and the camera guy got closer. "Ah ha" said Nol huffing and puffing she stood up fixed her hair and said
"Now we can get on with that interview.". The camera man finally caught up with them. The group started looking for a way out but none of the trees where long enough to go all the way across the crevice.

Ken looked at Rini and gave her a telepathic message. "Use your mind control please.". Rini looked back at him "I can't I can only use it on enemies.". Ken looked Nol and then back to Rini "She is an enemy, shes like a mosquito.". Rini smiled "I'm sorry but I just can’t do that.", Ken looked down in disappointment. Julia got an idea, she casted RaBarta and formed an ice wall in a semi cirle. "Good thinking it will take her time to get
through that." said Vivian. Ken then grabbed Rini and jumped the crevice, and repeated it with everyone else. Nol was furious that she just lost her interview and took it out on the camera guy. The group then went into the woods so when Nol did get across she wouldn't be able to find them. They decided to explore the caves and see if a Pole was
there. Nol finally managed to find them "Oh great here we go again." said DnaX as the group started running away from Nol again.

The got tired of running away from Nol and Julia casted ryuker and the group dodged her one last time. They went to the Pioneer 2 transporter and went to the caves. They walekd in and it looked a bit different from when they were there last. They began to walk through meeting some resistance but nothing they couldn't handle. They eventually reached the transporter for the sector section of caves. They entered the transporter and appeared into Caves 2. They walked in and once again meet little resistance. As they continued on they walked into the next room, it was the waterfall room where Ken and Ferris fought. Julia and Vivian looked at Ken as he walked into the room and seen the mark from the explosion that almost killed him. He began to hold his head like he had a headache. "Ken do you want to rest?" asked Julia as she walked over
to him. Ken looked at her and said "No I'm alright." said Ken as he put his hand down. "Are you sure?" asked Julia showing more concern, Ken didn’t say anything. "Ken, are you sure your alright?" she asked again and then something unexpected happened. Ken fell over holding his head and went unconscious.

Ken didn't see Julia around or anyone for that matter. He got up and started walking, he looked around and he wasn't in the caves anymore. He looked at his surroundings it resembled an odd like structure. There were many machines that seemed
very adavnced and not like they were made on his planet. Then he seen Julia and the rest of the group, they were exploring the area. He caught up with them and tried to talk to them but it seemed like they couldn't hear him. He thought they were just messing around until he decided to grab Julia. To his surprise when he tried to touch her his hand went straight through her. He backed up and was wondering what was going on. He kept following them and he seen a man standing at the other end of the room. Julia looked at the man and yelled "Ken why did you leave us behind?", Ken looked in shock and horror as he watched the man turn around.

It was him but not him, and as he watched the man jumped towards Julia and stabbed her straight in the stomach with what seemed to be an agito. Ken ran over to her and tried to stop her from falling but his hands passed right through her. The man continued to kill everyone and then as he finished off Rhea who was the last one alive he
looked at Ken. He began to smile and laugh insanely, Ken looked at him in anger. "Yes thats right get angry it will only make me stronger." said the man. "Your not me, who are you?" said Ken holding back from trying to attack him. "Well I thought you would be intelligent enough to figure that out." said the man as he began to change. It was Ferris, but not the Ferris he fought in mines, almost like he gave up his humanity to become a
demon with unblievable powers. Ferris looked at the horror and anger in Ken's eyes and laughed again "this is what will happen to love and your friends if you continue this quest to destroy my master. I will make it so they will suffer horrible deaths because they will think it was you that abandoned them and then killed them. A very ingenius plan if I do say so myself.".

Ken kneeled down beside Julia's dead body and touched the wound. His hand instead of going through her got the blood on his hands. "Heh, that blood is your warning, don't come into the sealed door or this will happen." said Ferris as the bodies
began to fade away along with the surroundings and also him. Ken kneeled there in the darkness worrying about what would happen. The darkness began to disappear as a light appeared. "Ken, Ken wake up.", said a familiar voice. Ken got up and started to walk around until all the darkness was gone. Ken then heard the voice again it was crying and not speaking. It was Julia she was crying, and then Ken heard another voice trying to comfort her, "Don't worry he'll get up soon." it was Rini. Then he heard Rhea, Vivian, and DnaX all say similiar things.

Ken began to see things, first he seen the roof of the room, then he seen Julia's face. She had tears dripping down her face as she sat above him crying. "Hey he's getting up." said Rini as he seen his eyes open. Julia still crying, hugged Ken a he sat up holding his head. "Ken what happened, why did you suddenly faint?" asked Julia still crying and hugging him. Ken just sat there thinking about what he seen in that dream. Julia looked
at him as she stopped hugging him "Ken are you alright?". Ken looked at her and the rest of the group "Why don't you all get some sleep I'll stay watch.". They looked at him and Rhea said "You need the sleep you just fainted and woke up you get some sleep.". Ken looked at her "No you guys need some sleep more then me, If I get tired I'll wake one of you up to stand watch." Rhea nodded and they went to sleep in the room after the waterfall room.Ken sat there and kept thinking about either continuing the quest or stopping it there. Then Ken began to think about what would happen if he didn’t fiinish Ferris"s master.

Chapter 16 The Warning Goes Ignored
Ken didn't bother to wake anyone up to take a shift. After they woke up Rhea got angry at that fact but didn't say anything. They continued on through the caves until they came up to another giant pole. "Hey this is the same thing we seen in the forest." said Vivian as the group got closer. "Well maybe we just have to flip that little switch like the one in the forest." said DnaX. Rini walked over and flipped the switch and it started to shake. The group remembering what happened with the last one just stood there but Ken
dived on the ground yelling "BOMB". Julia walked over smiling "no, no bomb just igintion trouble.". The group said they should head back but then they remembered that a new dragon appeared so that got them worryed. "What if that worm creature is back"
said Vivian.

Rhea, Rini, and DnaX didn't know what they were talking about. "Worm creature?" asked DnaX. Ken, Julia, and Vivian looked at them "Yea, when we first came through here there was a giant worm like thing in the canal. It was the thing that mutated
the monsters of caves." said Julia. "Well if you three took it out once all six of us should be able to take it out at the same pace." said Rhea as she started walking forward. The rest of the group soon followed.

They found the transporter to Caves 3 and entered it. The group walked through the caves and after killing a room of sharks and a Pan Arms sat down. "Gees these creatures are just commiting suicide fighting us." said Rini as they ate some snacks that Julia brought. "Well we are alot stronger compared to them." said DnaX sitting by the
wall. Ken sat there silently once again thinking about that nightmare. "Ken you want one?" asked Julia handing him a small cake. Ken put his hand up and shook his head. "Ken can I talk to you in another room?" asked Julia as she stood up. Ken got up and followed her to another room. The rest of the party looked at each other and wondered what was going on. "Should we be prepared for flying objects and yelling?" asked DnaX as she moved away from the door.

"Ken what has been your problem, I mean ever since you got up from fainting you barely eat and get almost no sleep, I'm startng to worry about you." said Julia as she stood infront of Ken. "Nothing, nothing is the problem." said Ken as he headed back to the other room. Julia shook her head and walked back to the room. Julia sat down and Ken stood infront of the room. "Hey everyone I have a request for you, would you please all go back to your familys and friends now or after we explore mines." said Ken as he stood infront of everyone. They all looked at him in surprise and thinking he was still alittle out of it played along by agreeing to stop after they explored mines.

The group packed up after the short break and kept going through the caves. "Are we really going to stop exploring after we finish the mines Rini?" asked DnaX whispering. "No, of course not." said Rini to whispering. "Then why did you lie Ken saying we were?" asked DnaX. "Because ever since he fainted he has been different and right now he may be alittle out of the loop and making him angry wouldn't help his condition." said Rini as she stopped DnaX. "I still don't think lieing is gonna help." said DnaX as she caught up. The group eventually got to the large transporter to the canal.

"Looks like we're here." said Vivian as she went into it. "Hope you guys are ready for a fight." said Rhea. The rest of the group entered the transporter and vanished. They appeared on a raft like last time. Ken, Julia, and Vivian looked behind them and waited for the worm creature. "So wheres this giant worm at." yelled Rhea as the raft
started to rock violently. "Right there." pointed Ken as he took out his agito and Varista. Rhea's and Rini's eyes widened as they seen the giant worm. "Alright watch out for its attacks they are very fast and strong." said Vivian as she withdrew her Blade Dance.

The worm quickly caught up with the raft and went to its side. Ken, Rhea, and Julia withdrew their handguns and started firing at it while Rini casted spells. Vivian and DnaX waited until it lacthed on the side. Instead of lacthing onto the reft's side the worm jumped and launched a volley of enery balls at the party. As one approached Ken he
sliced at it with his agito blocking the shot. Rini and DnaX both jumped over the ones that covered their area and Julia blocked them with a RaBarta shield for herself, Rhea, and Vivian. "It didn't use that attack before." said Ken as he looked at the rest of the group. Before he turned around again the worm latched on the side of the raft and thrusted a tentacle at Ken stabbing him in the side. His eyes widened as he felt the pain from having a foot long stinger thrusted into his side. With the strength he could muster his cut through the tentacle with his agito and layed on the raft. Julia ran over and pulled on the stinger but it wouldn’t come out.

"Don't worry Ken I'm going get this thing out of you, QUICK SOMEONE COME HERE." yelled Julia as she called for help. DnaX ran over as the rest covered her. "What happened." said DnaX as she looked at part of the tentacle imbedded in Ken’s side. "Help me pull this out." said Julia as she grabbed on the tentacle. DnaX grabbed the tentacle and started to help Julia pull but it wouldn't budge. "Its in too deep it will need to be surgically removed." said DnaX as she let go. "If we keep it in to long it will kill him from blood loss." said Julia as she kept trying to pull it out. She let go "Ken do you think you can hold on until we get you to the hospital?".

She looked at Ken and his face showed no pain and then his golden aura began to show. "Ken I don't think you should use that." said Julia trying to stop him. "This worm is gonna eat my blade." said Ken as his aura grew bigger. DnaX looked in amazment as his body began to glow. Ken grabbed the tentacle and incinerated the tentacle even the part that was lodged in his side.

Ken stood up his side bleeding and Julia and DnaX watched him as he garbbed his agito and ran at the worm. Rhea and Rini seen a trail of blood as he jumped on its back. Julia and DnaX ran over to them. "What happened to him?" asked Rini, DnaX looked at her "he just burned that tentacle out of his body.". Ken was on the worms back and
started stabbing an open wound. The worm cried in pain and dived underwater. Everyone looked to see if Ken was floating but didn’t see him. They seen a giant column of water come up 5 beats later and it was the worm. Ken was still on it's back agito in his mouth and his Varista in the newly made wound firing away at it. All the group heard was swearing and started shaking their heads. "For a man thats near death he sure can put up a fight." said Vivian. After a few more beats of having its insides shot up it finally died.

The worm slammed into the water Ken still on its back and never surfaced again. "Uh shouldn't he be coming up soon?" said Rhea as they looked around the raft. Rini was standing near the edge of the boat and turned around to say something. Something wet grabbed her foot and she freaked and stepped on it. The rest of the group ran over and looked it was a hand. Ken pulled himself up screaming "WHAT WAS THAT FOR! I thought you would be glad to see me again." as he held his smashed hand in his other
hand. His side was still bleeding and had a good size hole in it. "Ken don't you think you should get that looked at?" asked Rini. DnaX looked at it curiosly and put her hand inside it. Ken pushed her away and grabbed his side "Don't touch it." as he held it. DnaX looked at her hand and it was covered in blood, "Maybe you should get it checked out
your vital organs may be bleeding.".

Julia walked over to him and tried to talk him into getting it checked out. "I'm fine, I don't need to see a doctor." said Ken as he tried to stand up. "Guess what I don't care if you think your fine your going to see a doctor and thats final." said Julia as she grabbed his arm. They went into the transporter and went back to Pioneer 2. Rini looked
at DnaX's hand and said "You really shouldn't of did that, that was disgusting and wrong.". DnaX looked at her and said "sorry its juts that everyone says that humans have such a complex system of organs and I wanted to see it for myself.".

They went to the hospital and one of the nurses walked by and seen Ken sitting in the waiting room. "What the hell are you sitting there for your bleeding to death!" and called over a doctor. They
went and checked it out no infections or any alien chemicals were found and had it patched up in no time.

They walked back to Ken's house instead of going to mines right away. Ken side was still sore but had been completely healed. Nol was standing at the door, "Oh for crying out loud." said Ken as he slowly walked closer. "Hey you finaly came back now
can we have an interview?" asked Nol as the camera man got ready. At the same time everyone said "NO!", Nol was in shock and seen Ken holding his side "Battle wounds quick turn on the camera!" said Nol as she held the microphone up to Ken's face. "Excuse me Ken, how did you get damaged in battle?" asked Nol. Ken looked at her and then at his side "I swear if you don't get the microphone out of my face your camera is going to be destroyed.". Nol turned to the camera guy and they started to walk away.

Chapter 17 The Door is Unsealed
They walked into Ken’s living room and sat down. Ken slowly walked into the kitchen and put a pizza in the oven. He slowly walked back in Rhea and Vivian were sleeping in chairs DnaX went outside and Julia and Rini were sitting on the couch. Ken
set down clinching his teeth because of his side. "Ken, maybe you should get some sleep or something." said Julia as she looked at his face. "Nah, I think I'm gonna wait until that pizza is done before doing anything." said Ken as he tried to smile. Julia got up to check on the pizza and Rini looked at. Rini read her mind as she walked into the kitchen, "Geez I hope he is alright I don't think I could take seeing him suffer like that anymore." thought Julia as Rini listened in. Rini turned toward him and whispered that in his ear.

Ken shook his head and remembered the nightmare "I really do hope they listen to me and not explore the sealed door. I'm going to have to do it alone.". Rini knew he was thinking something but couldn’t read his thoughts. Julia came back because the pizza just finished cooking and grabbed a piece for each of them. Rini remembered what Vivian told her about Ferris and then looked at Ken. "If Ken has managed to surpass Ferris in alittle while, then Ferris must have gotten alot stronger since then." thought Rini as she ate her
pizza. Julia fell asleep on Ken's shoulder, Rini was still awake and then motioned Ken to go to the kitchen with her. "Ken you know something and I want to know it to." said Rini.

Ken sighed "I know something but all you need to know is that you and the rest of the group are not going past that sealed door.". Rini gave him an odd look "Now I know you know something that has to do with that Ferris guy or our well being so tell me.". Ken looked at her and then looked away "Just promise me that you will talk the others not to go into Ruins.". Rini's eyes widened "You do know something about that door and whats past it tell me.". Ken turned around "No, your gonna keep everyone from going in there alright.". Rini never seen Ken like that and DnaX seen what just happened through the window. Rini backed away "Alright, I give you my word that I will keep the rest from
going in there.". Ken looked at her "thank you". and walked into his bedroom and fell asleep.

DnaX walked in from the outside "What was that about?". Rini looked at her "Just don't worry about it.". DnaX looked at her "Why are you listening to him?". Rini looked away and then back at her "Because he knows something is gonna happen and doesn't want us to get hurt.". DnaX started to wonder how she knew that "Did you fianlly read his mind?". "No, all you needed was to see his eyes and the tone of his voice and you could tell." said Rini walking back into the living room. DnaX was shocked at her response.

The group woke up and ate breakfast. "So whose ready to find that last key?" asked Rhea as she ate some pancakes. Rhea and Vivian looked at Julia eating more than usual "Your all right there Julia, I've never seen you eat like that?" asked Vivian. "No I feel fine just hungry." said Julia as she ate some more pancakes. Rini and DnaX didn't say
anything about what happened when they were sleeping. After eating a much needed breakfast they got ready and headed down to the mines.

They started walking room from room killing robots left and right. "Gees these things are as smart as ant drones." said Rhea as she put a photon bullet through a Gilchic's skull. Ken was using his Agito and Varista in sync with each other killing two robots at once. Rini and Julia were using attack magic and support spells as DnaX and Vivian cut up some Sinows. They finally came up to the last room also the room faught Ferris in. Julia started to wonder if Ken would faint in this room also. She walked over to Ken so she would stop him from falling on his head.

They walked in and nothing happened except some Garanz came at them. They were easily dispatched with magic and photon. They were on edge just incase some more robots came at them. They walked through the room and got to the other door it was the transporter to Mines 2. The queer silence was what kept them on edge until they appeared in Mines 2. As the appeared in Mines 2 Ken looked at Rini. Rini turned her head away in sorrow. They walked into the room and finished off the robots in it.

They came to a room where there was two ways to go they split up into two groups. Ken, Julia, and DnaX where the first group and Rhea,Rini, and Vivian where the second. They split up and said they would meet in the first room that connects. Ken, Julia, and DnaX started walking and came into a room with a few sinow beats and two sinow golds. They were quickly ended with a Razonde from Julia. "you know you can save some enemys for us." said Ken as he sheathed his agito 3 seconds after pulling it out.

They came up to a room that connected the two teams path and surprising also contained the third pole. "So after this pole is activated that door should unseal and we can explore it." said Rhea as she approached the giant stone pole. Rini looked at Ken and knew that it wouldn't happen like that. Vivian flipped the switch and it started to shake
and light emitted from it. "Well looks like we just need to find that giant transporter and see if that giant computer enemy is still there." said Julia as the left the room. They went a few rooms forward and found the giant transporter. "Ok all if that computer is back watch out for its attacks escpecially you DnaX." said Ken as they walked in the warp.

They appeared in the gaint monitor room and a similiar face to last one appeared in the screen. The totems sprung up and one violently shocked the group. DnaX's systems began to fail, Ken tossed a unit over to her, it was a resist/thunder and helped her take the electrical attacks better. They attacked the totems and began to knock them out one by one. Soon after the monitors were blown out and the totems destroyed a gaint machine dropped from the ceiling.

The missles it launched were surprising faster then the ones it fired before. A missle almost hit Julia but Ken shot it before it got to her and he was then hit by one himself. Julia and Rini began to cast zonde type spells to try and weak it while the rest tried to damage its launchers and lasers. DnaX and Vivian destroyed the recovery shield with repeated blows. Ken and Rhea took out the missle launcher by firing shells into the tubes destroying them from the inside. Julia and Rini fried the entire machien after it took all the damage from the rest of the group.

They seen the transporter to the excavation hallway and entered. The door was now gone and Ken sent a message to the Pioneer 2 military. Eigth heavily armed soldiers came down and gave them passes for acces to the newly discovered area. Instead of going inside they went back to Ken's house to rest before finding out what was inside. As
they arrived most of them went to sleep. DnaX was the only one awake. Awhile later she seen Ken walk out of his bedroomfully dressed for battle his agito on his side, the Sealed J-Sword strapped to his back and his Varista in its holster. He looked and her and she looked at him "Give this to Rini when she wakes up." said Ken handing her a note. He walked out the door without saying goodbye.

Rini woke up before anyone else and noticed Ken was gone. "DnaX where did Ken..." before she could finish DnaX handed her the note. "Whats this?" said Rini as she opened the note. Her eyes widened and then she closed them. Ken was walking to the transporter and seen an android asking people to come with her to the newly discovered area. Most of them said no because they had no pass or they didn't want to get killed. Ken walked over "Listen you want to go to the Ruins you can tag along with me.". The android looked at him "No money involved just come with you?". "Yes now lets hurry." said Ken as he started walking away. The android caught up with him and said "My name is Shino and I'm looking for my master." then she seen the sword on Ken's back and the katana in its sheath. "Hey is that an agito?" asked Shino. "Yes its an agito AUW 1975." said Ken handing it to her. She stopped "You have the real agito the Oritoagito, its special attack is suppose to be one only the chosen people can use.". She handed it back to Ken and said "my master was looking for this, could you show it to him when we find him?". "Whatever but I have my own agenda in the Ruins so you better hope we don't need to go out of my way to find him." said Ken as the ywalked into the transporter and showed the gaurd their passes to go into the Ruins.

Julia woke up and looked for Ken, a few minutes later Rhea and Vivian woke up. "Hey Rini, do you know where Ken is?" asked Julia. Rini looked at Julia and then back to the ground. "Rini Ken went to that area by himself didn't he?" asked Julia. Rini nodded and looked at the note in her hand. "Well I guess we just gonna go in after him." said Rhea as she headed for the door. "Stop you can't go, I've sealed the house off with a mental barrier, it was what Ken wanted." said Rini as she handed the note to Julia.

Chapter 18 Love, The Unstoppable Force
Ken and Shino entered the first room of the Ruins and walked down a hallway. "So whats your name ranger?" asked Shino to break the silence. "Its Ken and talking right now isn't a good idea." said Ken as he sped up his pace. Shino gave him a odd look
and followed after him. "So where did you find that agito?" Shino asked. "I found it in in a box, now will you stop asking me questions." said Ken as they entered the first room. A bunch of Dimenians came at them. "Look out they have photon blades for arms." said Shino as she fired a few rounds. Ken looked at her "I know, will you stop acting like I'm
ignorant." after that a Dimenian slashed at Ken and he grabbed the part were no photon was at and stabbed it through the blue glowing chest area with his oritoagito. Shino looked at him with shock.

Julia started to read the letter and cry. "Rini let us out we have to go help Ken." said Rhea as she punched the invisible barrier. Rhea looked over to Julia and seen her set the letter down and bury her face in the couch. Rhea went over and picked up the letter.

"Rini, when I leave I want you to do anything you can to keep everyone from coming to the ruins. I know I'm asking alot from you but I know you can do it. I may not come back after this journey, so please if I don't tell Julia that I would of wanted to be with her after you heard about my demise. Hopefully she will find a person that will take care of her and not leave her. You also wanted to know what was beyond that sealed door, well since I'm most likey there by now I can tell you. It is a coffin for a great evil that invades all beings, tainted and untainted, and changes them. It is my family's duty to keep this evil from surfacing the last time my ancestor fought with it he sealed it in that coffin hoping it will never be opened. Well this time I plan and finishing the job even if it means I won't be there when you or the others land on Ragol. The reason I fainted was
because Ferris wanted to show me what would happen to you and the others if you came. What I seen put something in my heart that even I couldn't stand. Fear, the scene that I witnessed struck me with an immoblizing fear of not being able to protect Julia or any of you. So please don'’t let them come to this coffin of evil. I understand if you hate me for
stopping you from seeing what happened to your parents but it was my family's fault it happened.”
Goodbye

Rhea's began to cry as she sat down and realized excatly what was going on. Vivian walked over and read the letter, a cold slap of reality hit her and she sat staring at the ceiling. DnaX was the only one that didn't read the letter. She walked over and picked it up. She looked at it reading it and then realized what it ment, Ken will most likely not come back. She looked at Rini who was suffering from stopping Julia to see her love. "Oh man I didn't realize that he was going to do this." thought DnaX.

Ken and Shino just finished clearing the room full of Dimenians. "Geez for a human you certainly are very strong." said Shino as he tossed an arm that he ripped off of a foe. "I don't think you understand that all humans and newmans are strong." said Ken as he walked toward the door. A giant statue was standing in the middle of the room.
"Hmm odd looking statue wonder if it represented a god or something?" said Ken as he walked past it. It began to spring to life and swung at him. Shino fired at it with her guns but only made it angry it looked at her and raised its arm. It fired its arm like a rocket and Ken grabbed her and dodged it. He withdrew his Oritoagito and cleaved it in half.
"Alright are you sure your not an android?" Shino asked sarcastically.

Julia still crying layed in Ken's bed and tried to sort out the situation. She sat there for almost 30 beats crying and pacing around the room. She looked around Ken's room and found a dusty old book. It was a photo album, she walked out into the living room where the rest of the group was and sat down. She showed them the book, as they looked they seen what Ken looked like as a child and what his parents looked like. Julia and Rhea realized that the Fomarl they met was Ken’s mother. They seen a picture of Ken a 4 years old holding a handgun. They seen a few pictures that had another child in there that was older the Ken. They didn't know who it was until Julia seen a up close picture he
looked very familiar. She looked at the picture and the took it out. She looked at the names on the back and her eyes widened it said Ken age 5, Ferris age 9. "So Ken was friends with Ferris until he killed his parents." said Julia. The pictures stopped at the championship party for Sigmund. "Wow not having any family and only one friend that
killed your parents must have been harsh." said Vivian. Rini and Rhea knew what it was like not to have any family.

Ken and Shino still going through the Ruins first level met up with some more Dimenians and a Delsaber. The Delsaber jumped at him ready to cut Ken in half. "Well looks like someone is a bit happy to see me." said Ken as he parried the blow. Shino dealth with the Dimenians as Ken squared off with the DelSaber. He slashed the sword and its special attack came out and put a hole striaght through the Delsaber's body. "Wow that special attack sure is nice." said Ken looking at his Katana. Shino was surprised that he could use its special attack at all let alone put a hole through an enemy with it.

After looking at the photo album Julia began to think about what was going to happen. Was Ken going to die or was he going to come back and hold her. She began to cry again at the thought of him dieing in the Ruins. She walked over to the barrier and started pounding on it. "Why, why did he have to be so careful." said Julia as she cried pounding on the barrier. As a tear hit the barrier it began to disappear, the group looked surprised and then at Rini. "Did you destroy your barrier?" asked Rhea. Rini was as surprised as them "No, I don't know how it went down." then she thought "it must of been
Julia's love for Ken that let her shatter my barrier." Julia grabbed her railgun and wand and
ran towards the transporter. The rest of the group soon followed.

Chapter 19 Keeper of the Secret
Julia and the others raced towards the transporter. "Rini how exactly did Julia break your barrier?" asked DnaX. "The best guess I can come up with was that her love for Ken shattered my barrier." said Rini. Rhea and Vivian overheard this while Julia was too focused on finding Ken. They arrived at the transporter and took it down to the
excavation hallway. They ran towards the eight soldiers gaurding the door. The got to it but one of the soldiers stopped them. "I'm sorry ladies, but we have a request not to let any of you in passes or not.". They looked at each other and Rhea asked "Why?".

"A ranger came in here and showed us your pictures and said your passes were fake." said another one of the soldiers. Julia who was in the front walked to the one infront of the door and got on her toes and grabbed his armor. The soldier ready his weapon but another one lowered it. "Go ahead in ladies, just show us your passes." he
said smiling. They ran in flashing their passes, "Why did you let them through?" asked the
gaurd that was held by Julia. "Because she was about to rip you a new asshole, thats why." said the gaurd as he walked back to where he was.

DnaX overheard this as they ran into the Ruins and laughed. "Alright all we have to do is keep up a fast pace and we should catch up in no time." said Julia running as fast as she could. Thy ran into the rooms and seen dead bodies all over theground. "Geez, I hope Ken cleans house like this." said Julia as they looked at all the purple blood. DnaX used some sort of vision mood to track the footsteps. She noticed there was another pair
with his "Hey someone else is here with Ken.". "What, what do you mean someone is here with Ken?" asked Vivian. "Like I said someone else is with him but it seems they arn't doing much fighting." said DnaX looking at the rare mech gun residue.

Ken and Shino just finished a room full of claws. "These creatures seem to be different then any on Ragol, I wonder were they came from?" said Shino as they walked to the door. Ken turned his head "There from another planet sorta of the elite cadre of defenders for what lives in this place.". Shino looked at him "How do you know all this, its like you know everything about this place and these creatures.". Ken turned his head back straight and ingnored her. "Lets keep going and see if your master is still alive." said Ken as he walked forward.

They walked down a long hallway and Ken asked Shino "Why did your master go off without you?". Shino looked at him and said "Because he sent out to explore something here.". Ken looked at her "well surely you know what he was looking for, tell me.". Shino looked at the ground and then too Ken "Something about an untimate evil that will destroy us if we try to land when it is still alive.". Ken began to smile "That ultimate evil is the reason I'm here.". Shino looked surprised and said "I really do think you know more about this place then your telling me.".

"Julia slow down, I know you want to catch up to Ken but your going to exhaust yourself if you keep running." yelled Rini as she tried to catch up with her. "I can't, I have to stop him from getting himself killed." yelled Julia as she walked into a
room where Ken was 30 beats prior. "DnaX catch her and make her sit down, she can't keep up that pace in her state." said Rini panting. "What state?" aked DnaX, "Just do it alright." yelled Rini, "Alright alright I'm going.". "Does she know something that we don't?" thought DnaX.

She ran after Julia and finally caught up with her. "Geez she is determined to catch up with him." thought DnaX. She grabbed Julia and Julia started kicking and tried getting out of DnaX's grip. "Let me go, I need to catch with him before he gets killed." yelled Julia as she tried to pull away from DnaX. "Relax, you need to take a break." said DnaX as the rest of the group caught up. "I can't, I need to stop him from doing this." yelled
Julia as DnaX set her on the ground. "Julia, you need to relax, you shouldn't be running around like that you could get killed by a hidden enemy." said Rhea. "That and you also need to rest alittle bit or you could do some damage to yourself if you keep running." said Rini.

They looked at Rini "What do you mean?" asked Vivian. Rini started to get nervous "I mean running around like that could harm her leg muscles or she could twist her ankle.". "Right...well anyways just sit her for a few minutes and rest alright Julia." said DnaX. Julia against her will sat there and rested. DnaX started to wonder why Rini was so worried about Julia running around. "Rini why don't you tell me why your so
worried about Julia?" asked DnaX. Rini looked at her "Not yet, its not the right time you'll find out with everyone else.". DnaX started to wonder if it was serious.

Ken and Shino reached the final room of the first floor. "Ok after this room the transporter should be there." said Ken as he killed a few Dimenians. Shino was doing the same with her mechguns. "Shouldn't you rest alittle bit, the things your doing look like they can exhaust people in a hurry." said Shino as she walked over to Ken. "Yea that is a good idea, want something to eat?" asked Ken as he pulled out a few snacks. Shino
declined the offer.

Chapter 20 Questionable Behavior
Julia who was sitting there nervously looked at Rini. Rini looked back at her "No, you going to sit there for alitte longer and catch you breath.". Julia started to look at the rest of the group "You heard her, after you catch your breath." said Vivian. Julia started to get aggitated. "I hope he doesn't do anything stupid." said Julia as she crossed her arms. "Julia, relax you seriously need to. He's gonna be fine ok." said Rini.

Julia started to laugh, "whats so funny Julia?" asked Rhea. "Oh nothing just remembering things." said Julia smiling. Rini peaked into her mind and seen what she was remembering. It was when Ken was fighting the dragon and acting like a child. Rini began to snicker as she watched the memory. "Now why are you laughing?" asked Rhea.
"No reason, just laughing." said Rini.

Julia stood up after 20 beats of sitting there. "Well I think its time we continue on
catching up with Ken." said Julia heading for the door. "Yea if we wait to much longer he is going to get too far ahead of us." said DnaX. "Alright then lets get a move on." said Rhea. Julia started running again, "geez we just told her to take a slow pace and she goes off running again." sighed Rini as she tried to catch up.

"Well I guess we should get going." said Ken getting up. "Alright, I hope Zoke is still alright when we find him." said Shino as she started walking towards the door. "I hope for his sake that he is also." said Ken as he walked towards the door. "You don't know who Zoke is do you?" asked Shino. Ken looked at her "If you mean Great Sword Zoke, then yes.". Shino looked at him "If you know who he is then why are you doubting his ability to survive here?" asked Shino. "Because if he ran into the person I'm looking for he is either dead, dying, or hurt badly." said Ken as they reached the end of the
hallway.

They saw the transporter to Ruins 2 and walked into it. The second part of the ruins seemed more artifical then the first. "Wow this place looks like a giant science facility." exclaimed Shino as she looked around. Ken started to snicker at the androids shock. They entered the room and a few Dimenians came after them and were dealt with
easily. Then three Delsabers started to attack them. The first Delsaber swung its blade at Ken and was easily defeated by a blow to the body with his Orotiagito. Shino introduced one of the others to a barrage of photon. The last Delsaber jumped up and did a downward slash at Ken. Ken blocked the blow with his Orotiagito and then shot it in the chest with his Varista.

Julia and the rest came up to a room that had a delsaber with a hole right through its chest. "Oh my word what happened to this thing!" said Rhea looking at the hole. "It doesn't look like it was caused by photon." said Vivian. Rini looked at the body and then used her mental powers to see what happened. She seen what it thought when it fought Ken and Shino. She seen Ken use the special of the Orotiagito and was impressed. "Well
whatever did it was something strong." said Rini holding back her smile.

Ken and Shino arrived in a room filled with dead enemies and slash marks across the walls and floor. "Wow, whoever cleaned out this room must have been in a hurry." said Ken looking at the blood covered walls. Shino walked around the room and seen a katana laying on the ground. It was the Yasha, one of Zoke's prized swords. "What ya
got there?" asked Ken looking over her shoulder. "Its one of my master's swords, he
must have dropped it during his battle with these creatures." said Shino putting the sword on her side.

Julia ahead of everyone got to the room where Ken and Shino stopped to take a break. She seen food wrappers on the floor and looked at them. "He was here a few beats ago." yelled Julia as the rest of the group walked in the room. "Man how can she run like that and not get tired?" said Rhea huffing and puffing. "I don't know but I would
like too." said Vivian. "Well sooner or later we have to catch up with him. Let's hope that we do before anything bad happens." said Rini as she walked slowly over to Julia. "Julia, you do know that when Ken sees you here its going to change his plan." said Rini as she stood next to her. "Yea, but I can't let him die to keep me safe, I've stood by and watched him take pain for me. Now its my turn to help lighten his burden even if it is a
tiny bit." said Julia as tears formed in her eyes.

Ken and Shino left the slashed up room and walked forward. "Well I guess that old guy does have a few tricks up his sleeve." said Ken walking besides Shino. Shino gave him a dirty look "Why do you act as if my master couldn't defeat that man your looking for?". Ken began to laugh and looked at her "Do you seriously think you master is the
strongest person around?". Shino started to get angry "No, but he certainly is stronger than you.". Ken looked at her "You don't get it do you", Ken pointed to the wall and she looked. He punched it as hard as he could and put his fist through the reinforced metal and it buckled under the pressure. Shino was speechless, "Think for a minute, I can do
that and that guy I'm looking for is stronger than me, your master had no chance." said Ken as he pulled his slightly bleeding arm from the wall.

Julia walked into the transporter and hurried the others along. "Come on we gotta hurry." said Julia taking the transporter. "For crying out loud, shes like a kid." said Vivian as they walked into the transporter. They seen Julia leaning on the door frame holding her stomach. "Something wrong Julia?" asked Rhea, "No, no I’m fine." said Julia as she stood up and started to walk forward. "Alright I'm starting to worry about Julia now, she didn't look ok." whispered Rhea to the others. "You"ll find out whats going on when we
get back to Pioneer 2." thought Rini.

Chapter 21 Shino's Devastation
Ken and Shino walked out of the hallway and into a new room. "So Zoke was a sword collector?" asked Ken as they started across the room. "Yes, there was a legend about four swords that had the power to destroy the world. So he decided to not let that power fall into the wrong hands." said Shino. Ken looked at her "So like the Yasha, my
Orotiagito is one of the four swords?" asked Ken. "Yes, it was the only sword Zoke couldn't find." said Shino as they reached the middle of the room. Some Dimenians and So Dimenians began to attack them.

Julia walked into the first room and seen dead monsters on the ground. "How can he have so much energy to do this?" thought Julia. She sat down next to the wall trying to catch her breath. The rest of the group walked in and seen her sitting there. "She looks spent." thought Rhea as they walked next to Julia. "Julia I think you should go back to Pioneer 2 and get some rest." said Vivian. "Not until we find Ken and stop him from
doing this." said Julia breathing heavily. Vivian shook her "I'm telling you to do this because I'm concerned for your health.".

Ken and Shino just finished off the last of their enemies. Ken looked at Shino and seen that her arm was cut. "Seems you let them get too close." said Ken as he looked at the emerging wires. "Yes, but since I don't feel pain that doesn't really bother me." said Shino as she started to walk forward. "Thats not what I'm worried about, I'm worried if your accuracy is impared." said Ken as he caught up with her. "Well let's see........diagnostics says accuracy decreased to 93%." said Shino. "I guess thats not much of a decrease." said Ken as they began to leave the room.

Julia got up after catching her breath. "Well I think I'm ready to finish up this
chase." said Julia streching. "Well then all we have to do is catch up to Ken." said Rhea leaning against the wall. "Alright lets stop with these breaks, all they are doing is putting more distance bewteen us." said Vivian heading for the door. Rini and DnaX stood up and began to head for the door without saying anything. They walked through the door and seen another group of dead bodies. "How can he have the energy to kill this many enemies and not even get tired?" said DnaX.

They continued through the room and reached the otherside. They walked into the room were Ken and Shino found the Yasha. "What happened here?" exclaimed Vivian as she looked at all the slash marks. "Did Ken do this?" said Rhea as she looked at all the marks. Julia looked around at the marks "No, it was someone else.". "How do you
know?" asked DnaX. "I don't know but I know it wasn't Ken that made these marks." said Julia as she walked to the door. Rini used her abilties and seen that it was Zoke that made them. DnaX walked over to her and asked who made them. Rini told her and
DnaX was surprised that Julia could tell.

They seen Julia walk out of the room and began to follow her. They reached the door and as it opened seen Julia staring at the wall. "What are you l....what the hell!!!" said DnaX as she seen the buckle and hole in the wall. The rest of the group looked at it in amazement seeing the reinforcing rods bent and almost broken from whatever did it.
They seen blood that was almost dry. "Who or what did this!?" exclaimed Julia. "Whoever or whatever did that is *strong*." said DnaX taking out a bent rod and examing it. Rini not even needing her pyshic abilities already knew who did it.

Ken and Shino just finished off a room full of claws. "Well those were some.........odd enemies." said Ken as he headed for the door. "Yes they seemed to have no advantage but yet tried to fight us." said Shino also walking towards the door. "Thats what happens when you have no control of your body, when your free will is stripped away and your nothing but a puppet." said Ken as he kept walking. Shino stopped and wondered what he ment by that. "Ken........is that man your looking for....." Shino noticed that Ken was already at the door ignoring what she was beginning to say.

They entered a room almost like the one they found the Yasha in. It was full of slash marks and dead bodies. "Looks like Zoke went medieval in this room too." said Ken touching one of the slash marks. "Yes and....” Shino stopped and walked over to a dead enemy. It had the Sange embedded in its body. She bent over and pulled the blade out of
the corpse. She looked at it to see if there was any damage. Ken looked at her and seen her start to worry about Zoke. "Hey, don't worry the old guy is probably still alive." said Ken as he walked over. Shino stood there in silence and began to head for the door, Ken followed shortly.

Julia and the others were only a few rooms away from Ken and Shino. "We have to be getting close." said Rhea as they walked out of a room. "Yea, all that fighting their doing should be slowing them down a bit." said DnaX as they were halfway across the room. "Julia, do you have any plans after we get done chasing him down?" asked Rini. Julia looked over her shoulder "Yea, make sure he doesn't do anything like this again.". They walked out of the room and into the room filled with hundreds of dead claws. "Damn, look at all these dead things, you can't even see the floor its either covered in blood or bodies." exclaimed Vivian as she walked carefully.

They walked to the other side of the room and left. They entered the room were the Sange was. "just like the other room." said Rhea. "This is getting creppy, lets just hurry on through and find Ken." said Julia as she headed for the door. Julia walked into the other room and was attacked by a half dead dimenian. She screemed in fright and
finished it with a rabarta. The rest of the group came in and wondered what happened. "They must be in a hurry, this one was half dead." said Julia with her hand over her heart.

Ken and Shino looked back. "What was that?" asked Ken. "Sounded like a screem." said Shino as she turned back around and walked forward. They entered a giant sized room filled with dimenians and a few delsabers. "Alright lets ends this fast, I'm in a hurry." said Ken as he withdrew his Orotiagito and used the special ability and took out about 15 dimenians and a Delsaber. Shino started firing everywhere and took out dimenian and delsaber alike. In a matter of minutes the room was silent and only Ken and Shino stood. They walked into the door and seen a half dead RAmar sitting next to the
wall. Shino began to talk to the RAmar and found out that Zoke was in the room beyond the hallway.

Julia and the rest of the group reached the room where they heard all the gun fire and dimenian cries. "They were just here." said Julia as she seen the door across the room close. "Looks like we are going to see Ken in a matter of minutes." said Rhea as she followed Julia to the door. Rini began walking and felt a wave of darkness hit her. She
stopped put her hand on her head and then started going for the door again.

Shino and Ken headed for the door and ken also felt the wave of darkness. he held his head for a second and went through. Shino seen a man laying on the ground and one standing up, it was Ferris and Zoke. Ken and Shino ran into the room, Shino went to the half dead Zoke and Ken withdrew his Orotiagito. Ferris smiled "That old man wasn't
much of a challenge, he had a big mouth though.". Ken looked at the wounded Zoke and then back at Ferris, "Can't fight people that can fight back.". Ferris put his Lavis Cannon up and began to attack Ken. They deflected each other's blows making it seem that they were equal. Zoke looked at her with one eye "you idiot, I told you to stay on Pioneer 2.". Shino looked at Zoke "I'm sorry master, you should have let me come.". Shino was full of sorrow for her master.

Julia and the other's walked in the hallway and seen the RAmar sitting there recovering. She walked over to the RAmar 'Resta' he looked at her "excuse me sir, did you she a RAmar in green armor come through here?" He began to move "Yes, he went in there to find Zoke.". "Sit here and recover and thanks." said Julia as she headed to the door. They walked in and seen Ken and Ferris fighting and Shino sitting next to Zoke.

lol! My sentiments exactly. I just got through reading this fic, and I must say that I'm becoming more and more impressed by the writers on this board.

It's great to see an insurgance of writers on this forum. It challenges the other writers to do better, and it gives the readers more to see.

BTW: If you keep this up, your fic will be longer than "the Angelus Saga". Looks like Davion's gonna have to get on the ball once he gets back. ^_^

Chapter 22 Friendship Through Death
Ken and Ferris were fighting on what seemed to be equal terms. Every blow was either deflected or dodged and each warrior only managed to cut the other a few times. "This is amazing!" exclaimed Rhea as she watched the battle. "What!?, its not amazing
Ken might die." said Rini as she looked at Rhea. "Not that, I'm talking about the speed they are attacking each other and the power that is contained in each swing." said Rhea in complete astonishment. Julia didn't say a word and walked over to Shino who was sitting by Zoke.

Julia got next to Shino and seen her holding Zoke's almost limp hand. She knew what Shino felt and grabbed his hand with her. 'Resta' Zoke began to open his eyes and seen Shino looking at him. "I----I told y--ou not t--to com--come here." said Zoke as he began to breath heavily. "I'm sorry master but I had to, I couldn't live not knowing what
happened to you." said Shino as she put her hand on his back. Zoke heard the commotion of the fight and turned his head. "Who is th--that fighting that de--demon?" asked Zoke as he watched the endless fight between Ferris and Ken.

"Thats Ken, he is a very strong ranger who is here to destroy that evil you sensed." said Shino as he turned his head back towards her. "He isn't strong enough to destroy that creature or the one that awaits in the bowels of this place." said Zoke as he closed his eyes because of his pain. Julia was appauled by the comment "He is more than
enough to destroy this person and the creature that is waiting.". Zoke opened his eyes "you misunderstood me, your friend is by far stronger then me, but his full potenial is still hidden awaiting to used. When he began to tap into it he will be able to take on twenty of that foe.". Julia looked at him with curiosty because he sensed Ken's strength.

Ferris and Ken blocked each other's blow and jumped back. They looked at each other's current state and seen each was only cut five times. Ferris started to smile "Since everyone is here maybe its time that I show you something my master gave me to destroy you.". Ken looked at him "It's about time you stopped hiding you true power and stopped mocking me.". Everyone was in shock that Ferris wasn't using his true strength but Ken was fighting at full power. Ferris was still smiling and raised his hand. His palm faced the ceiling as it started to glow black and purple.

"Any last words before I use my full strength and obliterate you." said Ferris as he began to laugh. Ken looked at him raised his Orotiagito a bit "Yea, when I slaughter you have a pleasent afterlife.". Ferris stopped grinning and looked serious. He closed his palm and Ken went flying 5 feet to his side. It was like the beast from the caves attacked him. Ken's side was bleeding exactly like it was then. Ferris began to glow the black and purple color his hand did. He was engulfed in a black flame and emeged. He didn't look human, his eyes were glowing red his flesh was black and purple. His Lavis Cannon had a devilish glow as he swung it around.

Ken began to stand up holding his Orotiagito in one hand and his side with the other. "So do you want to suffer a painless death and juts stand there or fight to the end." said Ferris laughing. Ken was angered and charged at him, everyone of his attacks were easily countered or delfected. As they watched the battle everyoen seen how much Ken slowed. "He can't even hit him, his attacks are to slow and soon he will be suffering from blood loss." said DnaX as she watched Ken's failed attempts. Rini looked at Julia silently crying because she knew Ken was in pain. She walked over to her and put her hand on
Julia's shoulder.

"Julia..I'm s" but before Rini could finish what she was about to say Julia turned to her. "He is going to win, I can tell.", Rini looked at her and prayed that she was right. Ken swung his katana at Ferris, he blocked it with his Lavis Cannon and punched Ken with his other hand. Ken went careening into the floor. There was a blood trail from Ken's side made across the floor. Ferris walked over to his beaten foe "killing you right now would be meaningless.". He knocked Ken's Orotiagito out of his hand and turned away. "I'll kill your friends first and watch as your spirit breaks." said Ferris as he began to walk towards Julia and the others.

Ferris then felt a searing pain across his back. He turned around and to his surprise Ken was standing there with a bloody Sealed J-Sword. "You'll never touch my friends while I'm still alive." said Ken as he swung at Ferris again with a renewed
fierceness. Ken was starting to suffer from the blood loss and could barely keep up with Ferris. Ken fired a foie spell at him Ferris, Ferris on instinct dodges the attack to almost be cut in half by Ken's Sealed J-Sword. But something stopped him from completing the swing. Ferris looked at Ken as he struggled to move his head.

Ferris began to grin and laugh, "Your sword paralyzed you.". Everyone looked in horror as Ken was helpless to do anything. "Now you can't stop me from killing your friends, and you know what I'll kill you girl first." said Ferris as he smiled sadistically. He turned and looked at Julia tears streeming down her face. "Don't cry you'll be with him forever once I finish him off." said Ferris as he started walking towards her. Julia didn't try and run because she was immbolized by fear and saddness. Ken looked in horror as he remembered the nightmare he had in caves.

Ferris was a foot away from Julia and he raised his Lavis Cannon. "You should have listened to Ken when you had the chance." said Ferris smiling. Then something happened that no one ever seen him do. Ken began to cry, he was crying because he couldn't help at all. Then a wind started to come out of no where. Ken had the image of Julia dieing in his nightmare replaying in his eyes. Ferris noticed a wind starting to push him and turned around before killing Julia. Ken was glowing bright and then an explosion of white light was seen.

After being blinded by the blast and their eyes refocused they looked where Ken was standing. All they seen was a Ken holding a Tsumiriki J-Sword and his golden aura looked like a flame. He was standing shining in a golden flame, tears streaming out of his serious eyes holding the sword. Ferris looked in fear at his formerly helpless oppenent.
He turned to Julia and tried to slash her but before he could move the sword an inch he was sent back 15 feet. They seen an after image of Ken punching, his tears still falling in that spot. He was moving so fast that they only seen an after image every 15 seconds.

They seen Ken standing there infront of Ferris looking into his eyes. Ken began to talk "I'm going to instill so much fear into you demon that you will wish you never thought of killing my friends.". Ferris's eyes widened as his purple and black flesh shown in the light eminating from Ken. In a matter of seconds Ferris as gliding across the floor and smacked right into a wall. Ken walked over to him and Ferris tried to hit him. Ken
blocked the punch hit him in the stomach, used both hands to hammer him to the ground, kneed him up and then did a spin kick and knocked him a few feet sideways in 3 seconds.

Ken withdrew his Tsumiriki J-Sword and jumped at Ferris as he got up. Ferris put his Lavis Cannon above his head and thought he blocked the blow. "Seems that you can't hurt me now." said Ferris his sharp teeth grinning. Then he noiced that Ken was getting closer. Ken was cutting through the Lavis Cannon to hit Ferris. Before Ferris could try and push Ken back, Ken cut right through the Lavis Cannon and sliced across his face and half of his chest. Ferris fell backwards, purple blood flooding out of his wound.

Ken walked over to his mortally wounded foe and raised his sword. Before he moved a gentle voice was heard. "Ke--Ken, I'--m sor---ry, abou--t , what m-m-my, bod-dy did.". It was Ferris soul which was trapped in his possessed body. Ken looked at the body and talked to his friend as he cried "I know, I'm glad I could hear you one last time before you died.". "Ken, I hope you can destroy that vile creature before it does this to anyone else." said Ferris. "Don't worry, hopefully you?ll get a second chance at life." said Ken crying as he raised his blade. "Goodbye my friend." said Ferris as the Demon
began to take over again. Ken thrusted his blade into the left area of the chest and completely destroyed the area with a bright light.

Ferris's body laid lifeless as Ken still silently cried for his fallen friend. He slowly
limped over to his Orotiagito as he golden flame began to disappear. He didn't say anything to anyone and grabbed his sword. He started heading for the door on the opposite side of the room. Julia and the others were speechless. Julia only had one thought "He had to kill his friend who had no chance at life to save me and the others.". Ken limping towards the door fell to his knees and then the ground like he was struck down.

Julia looked in fear as she got up and ran towards his motionless body. The rest of the group followed except for Shino who sat at Zoke's side as he recovered. Julia Ran over to Ken's side and looked at his expressionless face and his tears were drying up. Rini was next to Julia "His body gave up before his spirit did.". Tears formed at their eyes as they looked at Julia laying Ken's head on her lap. Ken was in a place covered in darkness, he looked around and seen nothing. He felt that he was spent and about die, ready to give up. Then he heard a voice "Ken, get up you jackass, you have a job to do!". Ken looked around and seen Ferris standing there. He raised he imaginary hand and flipped Ferris off.

"You think thats funny, get up and finish your job. You have a girl waiting for you." said Ferris as he got closer to Ken. Ken looked at him "Let's see, I would but my body is thrashed and my energy is gone thanks to a fight.". Ferris gave him a dirty look, "listen if you manage to get up I have something in my pocket on my body. I've had it
since 'that day', it should be what you need to make you feel better." said Ferris smiling. Ken looked at him "thanks, I'll keep that in mind, oh did you ever get that second chance?". "Well that all depends on what he decides, they said wait a bit a they will tell me when they get the answer." said Ferris walking away.

Julia still had Ken's head in her lap and waited until his body calmed down before she tried to cast resta. She noticed that he started to relax so she casted resta and his wounds began to heal. "Looks like he is going to come too soon." said Rhea feeling his pulse. Everyone began to fall asleep except Julia, DnaX, and Shino. Ken began to wake up feeling sore from his wounds but noticed his face was in Julia's "lap" from moving around. He looked at Julia's face she was crying but smiling because he was ok. "So, how long was I out?" asked Ken as he sat up. "You've been out for 87 beats." said Julia hugging him being careful not to hurt him.

Ken stood up and remember what Ferris said and walked over to his body. He looked in his only pocket that was still intact and found a star atomizer. "Wow this is really what I needed." said Ken as he looked at the powerful healing vapor. He used it and began to feel fighting fit. Julia, DnaX, and Shino looked at him in shock after that.
"How did you know he had that?" asked Shino. "He told me while I was out." said Ken throwing a few puches in the air. "Well I should get going and finish what I started." said Ken he put the Orotiagito on his side the Tsumirki J-Sword on his back and his Varista in its holster.

Chapter 23 Zoke joins the Pursuit

Julia looked at Ken as he said that "Ken.....". Ken looked at her and seen tears beginning to form at her eyes again. Ken didn't say a word and walked over to Zoke. "Hey old man wake up, I want you to do something for me." said Ken slighty kicking Zoke. Zoke eyes started to open from his recovery rest "What do you want kid.?". Ken looked at him "You see that body right there, I want you to give it a proper warriors burial in the forest.". Zoke stood up "Why, he is not worthy of any kind of burial, as a matter of fact he should be thrown in a river.". Ken's eyes widened, he grabbed Zoke by
his throat. "Don't ever insult my friend like that again or I will kill you.". Zoke seen the anger in his eyes "alright alright, I'll bury him somewhere near the Central Dome.".

Ken set him down and walked to the door he was heading to before he fainted. Julia ran up next to him and grabbed his shoulder. "Ken let me go with you, your going to need help with these monsters." said Julia stopping him. "No, I'll do fine by myself, if it wasn't for Shino I might have been here before the old man got his ass handed to him." said Ken moving her to the side. Shino heard his remark and walked over from talking to DnaX. "That is not." Ken looked at Shino and she stopped talking. She just realized what Ken was trying to do. "Julia he'll do fine by him........" Shino realized thats what Zoke did. He went off by himself and went into a fight that he couldn't win.

"Julia go with him, help him in his fight." said Shino patting her on the shoulder. Ken looked at her "No, your not going, I don't care if you want to or not, I can't let you go.". DnaX walked over after waking up Rini, Rhea, and Vivian from sleeping. "Why can't she go with you?, give her a good reason why your going to leave her and make her
worry about you." said DnaX as she stared at Ken. Ken began to be outnumbered, Everyone was looking at him standing next to Julia or beside her. Ken looked at them and shook his head and turned around.

He began to walk towards the door silently ignoring what DnaX said. DnaX grinning because she basically won nudged Julia to follow him. Julia reluctanly started to follow him as did the others. Ken arrived at the door a good distance between him and the others. He stopped and turned around and looked at them. "Why did he stop?" asked Rini looking at Rhea. Ken smiled and withdrew his new Tsumiriki J-Sword and slashed the roof of the door. The door slammed shut Ken still smiling as he put his sword back on his back. They ran over to the door and tried to get in. "Ken must have damaged the
opening mechanism." said Rhea as she looked over the door.

DnaX looked angry at the turn of events "Instead of letting us go with him he does
this.". Rini looked at her "Well you did make him do that, challenging his request and then making him feel bad about leaving us.". DnaX looked at her and would have stuck out her tongue if she had one. Ken on the opposite side of the door began to walk
forward. Some Dimenians began to walk towards him raising their arms. Ken smiled at them because now he could let loose and not worry about hitting anyone he was friends with. In a matter of minutes the Dimenians were either hacked in half or shot through the chest area.

Ken walked forward to the door and as he past through it destroyed its opening mechanism also. "That should stall them long enough to let me get were I need to." thought Ken as entered the new room. Zoke was looking at his former enemies body
laying on the ground. "I don't know how you and that boy were friends and you certainly don't deserve a honorable burial..." a hand was than on his shoulder. It was Julia she over heard what Zoke was saying. "Hello miss Julia did my ramblings offend you?" asked Zoke as Julia kneeled down next to him.

"No, not at all, I just thought that I would come over here and pay my respects to Ferris." said Julia as she closed her eyes. "Why would you pray for a man nay demon that tried to kill you and your boyfriend?" asked Zoke as he looked at her. Julia opened her eyes "because Ferris never had a chance at life after that evil took over his body. His soul
had to watch every minute from the murder of Ken's parents to until Ken destroyed the demon controling his body.". Zoke eyes widened "I had no idea that is what was happening." said Zoke as he turned and closed his eyes to apologize for his rudeness.

The rest of the group looked at the door trying to figure out how to open it. "You know Ken destroyed the mechanism for a reason, maybe we should just do what he wants us too." said Rini as she walked away from the door. "No, because what happened to Zoke might happen to him." said Shino as she punched the door barely denting it. DnaX
looked at her as she got angry because what happened to her master. She was disgusted at the fact that she was worried about a person that used her like a tool. Shino looked at the door and then at her hand. "I got it!" said Shino with alittle excitement. She ran over to DnaX and asked her "How many explosive mines do you have?". DnaX just realized her plan "I have 6 of them.", "Good, bring them here." said Shino dragging her to the center of the door.

"Alright put one two here, here, and here." said Shino as she pointed to certain areas of the door. Shino put her mines in the opposite areas and walked away from the door. DnaX followed suit and walked next to her. "Alright synchronize the timers to go off at the same time." said Shino. In ten seconds the mines detonated and the door was
still there. "It didn't work." said DnaX with a sad voice. Shino walked to the door and tapped it. It fell into the other room with a loud noise and dust clouds. "No it worked just the way I wanted it too." said Shino smiling.

Everyone looked at the two androids with surprise. Zoke smiled "Thats Shino for you, fast thinker.". They walked over to the newly made entrance and seen the dead dimenians on the floor. "Well he works fast for such a young person." said Zoke as he examined the bodies. Julia smiled "Thats Ken for you, Hurricane in a bottle.". They walked over to the door and it wouldn't open. "Geez he is a very careful person." said
Shino as she looked at the door. "Well blow it down so we can get through." said Rhea. Shino looked at her holding the back of her head "I'm out of mines.". "Now how are we suppose to get through this one." said Vivian. "DnaX do you have any mines left?" asked Vivian. "Nope I used my last ones on that other door." said DnaX smiling.

Shino looked at it "well we can't knock it down and cutting through it would be to time consuming.". "Well then looks like we can't go any further." said Rini. "Nonsense Master Zoke can get us through this door in one swipe." said Shino as she walked over to Zoke. "Master Zoke, we need you to use one of your techniques to get us through the
door." said Shino as she grabbed his shoulder. Zoke walked over to the door with Julia and Shino. Zoke overlooked the door "Alright Shino hand me my Sange and Yasha and we'll be on the other side in a few seconds.". Zoke grabbed his two katanas and held
them in a relaxed state. He closed his eyes and began to slowly move them in a mesmerizing pattern. The blades began to glow, "hey Shino what is he doing?" asked Rhea. "He's using a technique that transfers energy from the air to the blades almost
simliar to what Ken did when He faught Ferris." said Shino.

The Sange and Yasha began to glow with a greenish tint. Zoke opened his eyes and charged at the door. A bright flash filled the room and a violent wind began to come from the door. The dead bodies of the enemies began skidding across the floor smearing the purple blood as they went. After the flash was gone the door had a hole right through
the middle of it. "Well looks like your friend is ahead of us, lets go." said Zoke as he started walking. Julia breathign alittle heavliy holding her stomach walked up to Zoke "Why are you looking for him?". Zoke turned around "Because I would like to teach him how to use those swords to their full potential, he seems like he would learn in beats.".
They began to follow Ken's path and tried to catch up with the speedy ranger.

Chapter 24 Calm Before the Storm

They entered a the room and seen the same devestation they seen inside the other room. "His sword wielding skills are sloppy." said Zoke looking at the slashes. "You can tell by looking at the slash marks?" said Vivian giving Zoke an odd look. "I can tell many things by just seeing how they hold a blade." said Zoke grimacing. Vivian started to wonder about Zoke "You sure your ok old man?". Zoke began to turn his head back around "Shino do you get the maps from the hunter's guild while you were there?". "Sorry Zoke but they didn't have maps past the first level." said Shino. "Alright then can your sensors detect where Ken is?" asked Zoke. "If I had a piece of his armor or sword I would be able to detect him." said Shino checking her sensors.

Julia turned to Rini and whispered in her ear "Do you think you can track Ken?". "Yes, but its not going to be a very accurate tracer, because of all the things in this place." whispered Rini. "Its better then being blind, so please hurry before he gets to far ahead." said Julia. "Alright, but you have to promise me that you'll go back to Pioneer 2 if things get to complicated." said Rini with a serious tone. "Ok, I give you my word." said Julia.
Rini closed her eyes and began searching the area of Ken’s aura. "Alright he is still on this level but he farther ahead." said Rini as she ran through the door.

The rest of the group followed, Julia being last. Rhea looked back "Julia, why don't you go back to Pioneer 2 and find out whats wrong with you.". Julia looked at her and held her stomach "not until we make sure that Ken won't get himself killed.". Vivian looked back and picked up Julia on her back "here rest alittle bit and then I’ll let you walk.". Rini using her mental powers began to catch up with Ken. They walked in another room and seen the floor covered with ashes. "What happened here, it looked like a massive explosion just happened." said DnaX as she surveyed the room. Shino picked up some ashes and analyzed them. "These are the remains of a group of claws." said Shino looking at the rest of the ash.

Rini after looking at the ash began to follow Ken's aura. She began to feel it stronger and kept running. Then the trace suddenly got weak. Rini stopped and looked around. "Whats wrong Rini, did something happen?" asked Julia very concered. Rini continued to look around "His aura just became very faint like hes not on this level ." said Rini as she tried to find out where he went. She began to trace his aura to the last place
he was on and found a transporter.

"Alright he must be down here, but we are very close so expect enemies." said Rini as she walked in the transporter. The rest of the group followed and Shino and DnaX stopped before going down. "Excuse me DnaX why do you not have a master?" asked Shino. "Because I don't thats why." said Dnax as she walked into the transporter. Shino
was curious but didn't ask her again. They went into the next room of what looked like a living, breathing creature. "This place looks like its alive and it gives me a very bad feeling." said Julia as she looked around. They seen the door close and knew that Ken was on the opposite side.

They walked through and seen Ken looking at at least 40 Dimenians, 75 claws, and 5 Dark Belras. "Man it looks like he is goign to need help." said Rhea as she began to withdraw her Heavens Punisher. Everyone except Zoke began to withdraw their weapons. Zoke put his arm up and told them "stop lets see what he can do.". Ken began
to unsheath the Tsumiriki J-Sword that was on his back. He pulled it out and began an offensive stance. He stood there for a few seconds and then they began to here a humming sound. Ken's flaming golden aura began to appear and the blade started to shine bright gold.

With one horizontal slash a giant wave of golden energy shot out of the blade. It incinerated every enemy and turned them into ash. All that was left intact was a half of Dark Belra. The group with wide eyes and open mouths were in shock. Julia walked over to Ken who was sheathing his sword. "Ken, please come back with us you don't need to do this." said Julia holding his arm. "Julia.........you don’t understand, I do have to do this so you can live here without this abomination ruining your life." said Ken as he began to walk. Zoke walked behidn him and put his hand on his shoulder “Boy, if you are willing I
can teach how to properly use those swords so that you will be alot stronger.".

Ken turned around "I don't have that kind of time.". "From what I just seen you almost mastered the Tsumiriki's special attack, just alittle training and you should have it completely mastered along with with the Orotiagito. "You already are a very good shot now all you need is to be good with swords and you should obiliterate what your here
fighting." said Zoke smiling. Ken smiled "alright lets do it." he withdrew the Tsumiriki and Orotiagito and held one in each hand. "Alright lets work with the Orotiagito first." said Zoke.

After 20 beats of training Ken managed to master both the Tsumiriki and Orotiagito's specials and a few of Zoke’s attacks. "Alright Ken we will go with you as far as were you need to fight your final battle." said Zoke. Ken smiled "alright but Zoke promise me one thign if you see Julia in any trouble and I'm busy you keep her safe.". With that all the hunters headed off into the living coffin. They slaughtered enemies left and right with ease. They arrived at a giant with a something large in the center.

Chapter 25 The Storm Strikes Hard

They walked into the room as an eerie silence was the welcome. Ken was walking ahead of everyone and then stopped. He heard something "Come....evolve.......be free.......be one.". Ken began looking around "who said that" said Ken as he looked at the others. "What are you talking about?" said Rini looking at him with a befuddled look. "Someone said something like come,evolve, be free, be one." said Ken as he turned
around and started walking again. He heard it again "come......evolve.....be free.......be one.....be strong.". Ken turned around again "Alright which one of you is being a smartass." said Ken as he looked at the others.

DnaX looked at him "Uh what are you talking about, none of hasn't said anything.". Ken started to walk forward again and heard the voice again. He stopped and held his head "Don't you hear it, its talking right now, its....its inside my head.". Ken
began to walk back and forth almost as if he was fighting inside his own mind. Julia ran over to him as he fell to the ground. "Ken are you alright?" asked Julia as she looked at him. His eyes were closed and he was clinching his teeth as if he was in pain. "Get out of my head!" Ken yelled as he began to stand up.

The group looked at Ken as if he went insane. Ken walked over to the wall and punched a part of the organic material on the wall. It fell off as if it was just glass and cracked upon impact of the ground. Ken looked as if he regained control, then the group seen him fall to his knees as he looked at a symbol on the wall. He looked at horror as he seen this symbol. Julia walked over behind the awe stricken Ken and kneeled next to him.
"Whats wrong Ken?" she asked as she looked into his eyes. Ken could barely speak as he opened a compartment on his armor and pulled out a piece of paper. Julia looked at the piece of paper and seen it was a picture of Ken's Family Crest. It was the same symbol on the wall.

"Ken what exactly does this mean?" asked Julia as she looked at him. Ken looked at the wall still silent and scraped off some more organic material. It showed some more symbols and Ken looked at them with sorrow. "Ken, do you know what these symbols say?" asked Julia. Ken began to stand up and walk forwards. She looked at the symbols
one more time and seen an odd looking one. It almost looked like a figure taking another figure's soul. Rini walked over to the uncovered symbols and looked at them. "Shino, DnaX come here." said Rini as she looked.

They walked over and looked at the symbols. "Do any of you have these symbols in your databanks?" asked Rini. Both Shino and DnaX shook their heads "No, this is not a known language." said Shino. Rini looked back at the symbols and then at Ken. "Ken, what does this say, tell us now!" yelled Rini. Ken didn't turn around to look at Julia or
Rini or any one else. He kept walking and his arm was grabbed. He turned around, it was Rini "tell us what those symbols mean.". Ken sighed "alright, as you know my family has fought this beast for generations keeping it sealed. Well looks like some of them did the same as I'm doing now and failed. So now it seems that if I fail, that is the last of my family and the last strand of protection against this creature." said Ken as he shruged Rini's hand off.

Rini stood there and watched as Ken began to walk forward a door or at the opposite side of the room. Julia thinking of what he just said started to make her cry. Rini once again thought of Julia's health and walked over to her. "Julia you said you
would go back to Pioneer 2 after Ken got to were he needed to be. So lets head back." said Rini walking over to her. Julia looked up and ran towards Ken as he entered the door. Rini and DnaX followed soon after, Rhea, Shino, Vivian, and Zoke started to
follow but heard a sound coem from behind them. A gigantic horde of Dimenians and claws along with Dark Belras and other creatures began their march towards the hunters.

Rini and DnaX looked back and started heading towards the enemies. Zoke looked at them "NO GO WITH KEN AND JULIA!!." yelled Zoke as he slashed a beast. "WE WILL HANDLE THESE FROM GETTING TO THE DOOR." said Shino as she fired a barrage of photon at a group of claws. Rini and DnaX looked at them and ran after Ken and Julia. They entered the door and seen Ken standing in a large circler transporter. Julia was standing outside of the red rings crying. Ken disappeared and then Rini and DnaX looked at Julia "Why didn't you stop him!?" asked DnaX. Julia looked at her and
started walking into the transporter "Ken's going to need help and I don't care if he wants me to stay here or not I'm going." said Julia as she extended her arms towards Rini and DnaX.

They looked at each other and and then grabbed her hands and walked inside the transporter and vanished. Julia was in a dream like state and seen pictures of many things. She seen things like she never imagined. A race similiar to the human race armed with weapons that would be antiques in her world. They were fighting beasts similiar to the
ones in the ruins and she seen symbols like the ones in the ruins. She looked around and seen Rini and DnaX in the same area and walked over to them. "What is happening?" asked Julia as she ran towards them. "I don't know but it seems we are in a battle." said Rini as she looked at the Humans firing round after round at the deformed monsters.

Then they seen two members of the humans laying atop a hill. They began to walked towards them and a what seemed to be an armored vehicle ran right through them. It was like they were ghosts, after the shook of their ghost like bodies they walked over to the two figures. They looked exactly like Ken and Ferris and to their surprise it said
that on their uniforms. They were eached armed with long barrled sniper rifles and an automatic rifle firing rounds from their sniper rifles killing the monsters. Ferris senior turned towards Ken senior and smiled. "This is one easy mission.". Ken senior looked at him "yea until we see the Dark One and then we'll have a hard time.".

Ferris senior began laughing "There is no force that can take us on, if he can manage to finish off some of our warriors that will be surprising, but he will never be able to kill a messenger of the Big guy.". Ken senior laughed and then began to frown "That the problem he did take on my great grand father and beat him that is why we are fighting these abominations. Now our only hope is that spaceship we made to get him off our planet.". Ferris senior looked at him and sighed "well then all you have to do is use your
power to seal the door and hopefully those people we sent to Coral will never find it and open it.". Ken senior looked "Yea because I don't think they will be able to fight it off because that planet weakend their abilties."

Julia looked at DnaX and Rini with shook. "So, this is how that creature got here,
it was a last ditch effort to save their planet and the universe made by Ken's family." said Julia as she looked at Ken senior which Ken looked almost identical too. "This battle is over 1000 years old, why are we seeing this battle it serves us no purpose." said DnaX looking at the antique weapons. Rini turned to her "because this battle was were this Dark Force beat Ken's family line and was able to fully use its power. If it gets free again
it will most likely be stronger and more anger then it was and we will lose." DnaX looked around and seen a human being cleaved in half from one of the creatures as it was filled with bullets from his gun. Then she seen another human whose arm was cut off and was bleeding but was still firing his automatic rifle at a group of monsters. "These humans fight so feircely they block out pain until they die. These humans are true warriors who
deserve any andriods respect."

They began to see the battle fade and awoke in a field of flowers. They seen a giant monolith and Ken kneeling by some graves punchign the ground. "Julia maybe we should let him vent some anger, I think those are the graves of his family members that had their souls taken by this being." said Rini. Julia looked at Ken punching the ground
and then he stood up laughing. He withdrew both his Tsumiriki J-Sword and Orotiagito and started yelling. "COME AND FIGHT ME YOURSELF, STOP SENDING MINDLESS DRONES AND PUPPETS AND FIGHT ME. I'M READY TO END THIS NOW, FIGHT ME YOU COWARD!!!!!". They looked at Ken as if he went insane from the sight of the graves. Ken ran over to the monolith and punched it. The ground began to shake violently.

Chapter 26 The Final Battle Begins

Ken looked around as the ground began to shake violently and seen Julia, Rini, and DnaX standing at the other end of the giant field. He began to run towards them as he drew his Varista. The flowers and grass of the field began to disappear and turned a grayish color. Thye looked at the floor and seen the wailing faces of humans and
newmans. "This is what happened to the people of Pioneer 1!!?" exclaimed Rini as she looked at the gray ghoulish faces. They looked in horror at the ground and seen Ken lunge towards them turning around and aiming his Varista.

Ken was aiming at the now hellish arena of his long saught after enemy. He pointed his Varista as he backed up toward Julia and the other. "What are you doing here, I told you to go back to Pioneer 2." said Ken turning to Julia. Julia looked at him "I'm sorry but I couldn't let you do this alone.". He looked at Rini and DnaX, "I suppose you
came for the same reason.". They nodded and seen tiny bladed enemies come out of the ground."Alright, since you here don't think your going to live." said Ken as he fired at one of the creatures.

He looked at the creatures, it looked like an endless blanket of them. They looked at Ken as he grabbed the Tsumiriki J-Sword from his back. He held the blade horizontally and it began to glow a bluish color. "What is he doing?" asked DnaX as she looked at the light bluish glow. "Its the Tsumiriki's special attack, it looks like he mastered it." said Rini as she watched. Ken slashed the blade horizontally and a blue wave of energy shot
out killing everyone of the bladed creatures.

They looked and didn't see any form of remains, not even ashes where left. "Ken how did 20 beats of training increase yout strength that much?" asked Julia. Ken didn't even turn around as he looked at the semi transparent monolith. "Ken where is this force your looking for, was those creatures it?" asked DnaX. he still looked at the transparent
monolith. Rini looked at him and seen he was focused on that monolith. The monolith began to shake and then shattered into millions of little stones. The pepples showered the arena as if it was hailing.

Ken still holding his Tsumiriki and Varista prepared for anything. They seen nothing but in a matter of seconds a gigantic creature appeared almost out of no where. They withdrew their weaposn and stodd besides Ken who was calm. Ken looked at the creature know as Dark Falz. "So you finnally decided to fight." said Ken as he began to laugh. The creature began to roar with a inhuman sound. Julia, Rini, and DnaX looked at how calm Ken was as he stared down what killed so many people including his family.

Dark Falz began to slither across the ground and one of the heads of the creature Falz was riding began to release more of the bladed creatures. Ken fired a round into the mouth and stopped it cold. Julia and Rini used a Rafoie and RaZonde on the Dervants and killed them instanly. Ken and DnaX ran over and hacked and slashed the head until it
howled in pain. Falz began to move further across the arena and began to rain a hail of blue beams across the arena. Ken grabbed DnaX and pulled her out of a harms way as he ran over towards Julia and Rini. A beam came down at Julia and Rini but was deflected by Ken's Tsumiriki J-Sword. Ken looked at them "Don't stand still, move and cast spells.". Ken ran towards the creature and let out a barrage of photon at another one of the heads.

It howled in pain and began to fall over. Julia, Rini, and DnaX ran to Ken who was about 20 feet from the dead body. "Was that it, your battle is over?" asked Julia hugging Ken as she cried in joy. Ken looked at the body it began to vibrate, and what seemed to be the end the battle began to rage on again. The new Dark Falz circled around
the arena casting RaFioe and RaBarta. DnaX was frozen as she ran away from a sky beam. Another beam was about to hit her but was cancelled out by a beam from Ken's Orotiagito.

Ken looked at Dark Falz "Julia, Rini use Grants on it when I make it stop.". Ken ran towards Falz with his Orotiagito and Tsumiriki in each hand and slash at its chest. Julia and Rini were alittle frightened about hitting Ken but they used Grants anyways. Falz roared in pain and slashed at Ken but the blow was blocked. DnaX ran over and began thrusting into the lower torso with her newly bought Durandal. Within minutes this combination of Slashes and magic put Falz into the ground.

"Ken!" Julia yelled as she ran over to the giant cloud the falling body made. Rini soon followed to see if DnaX was alright. They ran over and seen a cut to DnaX leg and Ken's arm was bleeding a bit from a part of the Grants attack. Ken looked at the body and felt uneasy about the silence. "Ken!" yelled Julia as she jumped at him hugging him. "Its over, we can finnlly live peacefully on Ragol." said Julia as she kissed him on the cheek. She got off of him and began holding her stomach as she helped him up.

"Julia are you alright?" asked Ken as he looked at her. Rini remembered what she was hiding from everyone and said "Julia now that this is over I think you should go to the hospital and see whats wrong.". Julia nodded and they began to walk away from the body. DnaX walked with them and Ken lingered back and looked at the body. He looked
at the body with wide eyes as he seen the true Falz emerge. They were suddenly floating above the arena on a ring of light. Flaz swiped at Julia and the others but Ken began to unleash his true strentgh and manged to stop the blow.

They looked at the real Falz and seen exactly why Ken didn't want them to come. Rini could sense the horrible power of Flaz and how weak Ken was to battle it. Ken looked at them and motioned his arm. He managed to open a ryuker to the ruins. "Go." said Ken as he looked at Julia. He began to cry as Falz pulled it sword back and casted Grants at Ken knockign him back. Rini looked at Julia as she began to run to Ken, she grabbed her arm "No, Ken will not fight back until we leave, he is using all his strength to keep this open we have to go.". DnaX looked at Rini "but..." Rini looked at her "we will leave and hope Ken can win". They entered the ryuker and seen Ken stand up and get
knocked back down by a energy ball.

Chapter 27 The Final Battle Ends

Julia yelled as she began to lose sight of Ken and Falz. She appeared in the ruins were she seen Rhea, Shino, Vivian, and Zoke who were standing around. They ran over to see what happened. Julia looked at them crying "I think I'm gonna be sick" as she began to fall unconscious. She began to wake up and seen that she was in a room. She sat up and seen everyone sitting there. "What happened?" she asked as she looked at their grim faces. Vivian smiled as a nurse walked in "Nurse why don't you tell our friend here what happened." The nurse smiled and looked at her

"Your going to be a mother, by our tests it going to be a boy.". Julia looked at them "I'm going to be a mother!" she said excited as she hugged Vivian. "Wheres Ken? Does Ken know?" asked Julia. Then she noticed that everyone began to look at the ground.

"What happened to Ken? Where is he?" asked Julia as she looked at them. She began to cry. Rini sat next to her "You have been out for about 15 beats, we don't know if he won yet." said Rini looking into Julia's eyes. Julia layed in the bed crying because of what she heard. She could only hope that he would be alright.

Ken trying to block the blows from Falz managed only to stop from being cut in half. "I can't keep this up, just to strong." thought Ken as he softened another one of Falz's attacks. He was fighting at his full strength and couldn’t even scratch Falz's body. Every attack that Ken landed had no effect. Flaz used a Grants attack and knocked Ken back, making him lose consciousness. Inside his mind he seen nothing but darkness and
then he heard a voice. "Ken, get up finish this fight and be with your love.". Ken looked
around but seen no one, "hey whose there?" asked Ken. He still seen no one "Wake up and finish this battle.”. Ken looked around again and suddenly woke up. Ferris was alive and fighting off Falz with his Twin Brand

Ken got up and grabbed a dimate from one of his armor compartments. "Well Ferris looks like you got a second chance." said Ken as he grabbed his Tsumiriki J-Sword and began to help Ferris. "Well you finnaly woke up sleeping beauty." said Ferris as he slashed at Falz. "So should we finish this off and live a happy life?" asked Ken as he laughed. "Anytime your ready to use your real power and make Falz ashamed." said Ferris. Ken gave him an odd look "I thought I had tapped into my full power?". Ferris smiled think alittle bit everytime your power jumped and how and you'll find out how to
use all 100 percent of it." said Ferris as he used Foie. Ken began thinking and remembered each time it was Julia that helped him along.

He began thinking and then seen everyone in the hospital around Julia. Julia looked around and seen the battle with Falz. "Whats going on?" she thought as she seen Ken's image looking at her. It was as if Ken was in the hospital and she was at the battle. They looked at each other and Julia smiled. Ken then raised his sword and they lost sight of each other. "Julia why are you smiling?" asked Rhea. Julia looked at them "because
Ken is going to be here very soon.". They looked at her with confused faces. Ken's aura instead of a tiny fiery flame of gold light began to amass into a giant golden light. Ken swung at Falz to counter its blow and shattered its sword. Falz looked at Ken almost expressing fear as it casted megid. Ken swatted the ball of magic to his side and rose his Tsumiriki and it began glowing gold. It was engulfed in the golden light which almost drained Ken's life to do.

The sword looked like a giant column of light as Ken began to swing vertically. The column connected with Falz and a giant explosion of white light was seen from the surface of Ragol. Julia and the others seen the explosion from the hospital.
"What was that!?" exclaimed DnaX looking out the window. Julia started to get a bad feeling about the explosion.

"Sir, we have got reports from military personel and hunters on Ragol that are showing that animals are becoming docile." said a soldier waving a piece of paper running into the principals office. Tyrell looked at the report and began laughing "looks like that ranger I hired did his job. Send a party to the last discovered area of the ruins and see if he is still alive.". The soldier looked at him we have reports that a party that he was with is now in the hospital but he isn't with them.". Tyrell looked "Eh?, well send someone to bring them here while we wait and see if that ranger is still alive.". "Sir, yes, sir." said the
soldier running off to the hospital and sending a team of soldiers to the ruins.

Julia watched as a soldier walked in the room and invited them to the captial building.
"Principal Tyrell has invited you to see what you friend has accomplished." said the soldier wheeling Julia out in a wheel chair. They arrived at the capital building and met with Tyrell. "Ah you must be friends of the ranger, why were you in the hospital?" asked Tyrell watching the screens of the search party. Julia looked at Tyrell with suspicion "I found out that I'm going to be a mother.". Tyrell smiled "well thats good news, who is the father?". Julia still looked at him "Ken, the ranger your talking about.". Tyrell looked at her "ok, well right now I sent a search party to find him, if you would like you can wait here and see him when they find him. They should be to the last area in a matter of beats.". said Tyrell as he watched a screen.

The search party arrived at the devestated arena and seen what was left of Falz which wasn't much. They walked around and one soldier seen a green helmet sitting under a rock. "Hey somethings over there give me some help lifting the rock." said the soldier as he got a few other soldiers to help lift the gigantic rock. All that was there was
a helmet and shattered visor glass. Julia seen the screen and her eyes widened. Tyrell noticed that and said "beam that up to me.". Within a few seconds the helmet materilized on a mini tranporter in the corner of the office. A soldier that was there went a picked it up and brought it to Julia. "Does this belong to the ranger?" asked Tyrell. Julia couldn't even answer as the helmet was placed in her lap. Vivian came over "yes that is his helmet.". The entire room was silent as they realized what happened. Tyrell looked at the
tears streaming down Julia's cheeks but she had no facial expression. "Why don't we let you pick a burial location for your friend, I will place a wreath out of consideration of the people of Pioneer 2." said Tyrell standing up and walking over to her thinking "what fools"

Chapter 28 The Truth is Revealed

They stared in silence at the battered helmet, the visor was shattered and it was dented to the extreme, it even had a few holes through it. "Julia..............." said Rini as she put her hand on her shoulder. Julia sat there in her wheel chair crying silenty without any facial expressions almost as if she wasn't there. Rhea and Vivian sat heavily in some chairs as they wondered what happened to Ken. DnaX, Shino, and Zoke stood in silence looking at the ground. Tyrell called up Nol and went to get a proper suit on for the event.
The group waited until he was ready and then began to leave.

They headed towards the main Ragol Transporter, Tyrell brought 4 Ranger class android body guards. Two RAcasts and two RAcaseals, all armed with a handgun and a mechgun class weapon. They arrived at the transporter where Nol and camera man was ready to go with them. "Today is a date to be remembered, we are now able to colonize
Ragol. But this day has also come with a price. Ken, a ranger, has some how managed to stop the vicious acts of the Ragolian creatures at the cost of his life. We are now going down to Ragol to give him a proper burial." said Nol into the camera.

Nol and the camera man were in the back of the burial party. They seen Julia, Zoke, and the rest of the group walking into the transporter silently. They appeared on in the Ragolian forest and seen the damaged Central Dome. They walked closer to it running into much friendlier boomas then Julia and the others ran into the days before. As they walked they entered an open field and seen two cloaked figures standing in the middle of it. Nol looked into the camera "It looks as if there are Pioneer 1 survivors".

Julia looked at the figures and began to stand up from her wheel chair. They looked at her as she began to run towards the figure on the right. She jumped at the firgure with wide arms. They looked at the figures as they began to take off their cloaks. It was Ken and Ferris, everyone began heading towards them except Tyrell and his 4
guards. Julia kissed Ken on his cheek while she noticed that they were both wounded from the battle. She casted resta on the two and said "Ken, what happened? why did you make it seem like you were dead?". Ken looked at her and then back at Tyrell who was in a cold sweat.

Ferris looked at Ken as he began to walk towards Tyrell and his four guards. He stopped about half way between the two groups of people. The wind began to pick up a bit throwing some dirt into the air along with leaves. Ken looked at Tyrell "So, I bet you were happy when you seen my helmet under that rock.". Tyrell looked at him and then at one of the RAcaseals. She fired a round at the camera and destroyed it. Nol and the camera man backed up and ducked into the group. Ken looked at the RAcaseal "You know when I kill you, you better hope you get a quick death.". The RAcaseal smiled and aimed her gun at Ken and looked at Tyrell. Tyrell looked at the other androids "Kill....Ken out his hand on his sheathed Orotiagito....Them......Ken took his hand off his sheathed Orotiagito......Now!". The three androids that didn't fire exploded right then and the one that did was somehow ripped in half and each part was thrown 15 feet to Tyrell's sides.

Tyrell looked in horror at the stationary ranger, "Your...your not human!" said Tyrell as he began to back away. Ken smirked "Wrong, I'm human, I just have tremedous speed and strength.". Tyrell withdrew his hidden Bravace and aimed it at Ken, "I'll kill you". Ken still smiling "After saving your daughter from her personal hell you created for her, I think I'll let you live. After I show you the extent to my strength.". Ken stopped
smiling and began to stand up striaght. Wind started to generate from from were Ken was
standing and then a bright flash of was seen. It was bigger then the explosion that destroyed the central dome. After the flash disappeared all that was left was what seemed to be a giant aura.

Ken was standing at the center, "This is my power, you tried to harvest Falz's strentgh but it back fired because I was alive. What even worst besides you trying to kill me is that you let your daughter stumble into your little discovery. You make me sick but your lucky I won"t kill you.". Rini tried to sense how much Ken had increased but the energy overwhelmed her abilities almost making her faint from the strain. Ken looked at the trembling Tyrell as he dropped his Bravace. Ken shook his head and stopped the wind and his giant aura.

He walked over to Julia and took her away from the group. They walked about 20 feet away from the group and stopped. They seen Ken get down on one knee and open a small compartment in his dinged up armor. "Oh man is he gonna do what I think he
is!?" said Vivian. They looked at Julia nod and say something and hug Ken. Then they seen Ken's eyes widen and begin to smile. "She must have told him the news." said Rhea. "Well Shino looks like we get to go to a wedding." said Zoke beginning to laugh. They walked back over to the group and told them what was happening.

Soon Ken and Julia were married and had a son named Ken Jr. Vivian and Ferris started to date and also got married and also had a son, they named him Ferris Jr. Rhea met a man named Rapheal and they had a duaghter named Celestine. The three married couples lived in the same newly formed town. The three kids grew up and became very
good friends. Rini and DnaX attended the weddings but then went of with one of their friends named Tai.

Chapter 1 A Peaceful Life Begins To End

It has been 16 years since the defeat of Falz. Most of the people forgotten about Falz and the person who defeated him. Even though it sounds horrible, it was for the best that Ken wasn't remembered. There are only 3 major cities a about 25 tiny cities called sects'. The sects' contain a school, medical relief, small businesses, and about 300 families. Ken and Julia, Ferris and Vivian, and Rhea and Rapheal all live in the same sect. Ken Jr. is the oldest out of then its Ferris Jr. who is almost 16 and Celestine who just turned 15.

Ferris Jr and Celestine began to become closer as the years came. They were on their way to school, it was the beginning of a new year. Ken Jr. looks almost identical to his father except that he has light brown hair because of Julia's white hair. Ken Jr. and Ferris Jr. retain human age like qualties and have no newman apperances, it is like they are pure human. Ken Jr. is a regular 16 year old and thinks his lowly of his father but highly
of his mother. "So Kenny what classes did you take this year?" asked Celestine.

Ken Jr. looked at her "just some regular classes and don’t call me Kenny.". She started smiling "but it sounds so cute.". Ferris Jr. started laughing as he hugged his girlfriend. They arrived at the school and seen the random groups of people. The people good at sports, the popular kids, and all the other kinds of groups. A fonewearl dressed in all black and hanging out with people who had the same clothes seen Ken Jr. as he walked up the stairs. The bell rang and the students began walking into the shcool going to the
designated class rooms.

Ken Jr. walked into his class room and looked around for a chair in the back. The
Fonewearl dressed in black also had the same room and walked in and seen him in the back. She walked to the back and sat next to him not saying a word. Ken Jr. didn't even look at her or say anything as he pulled out his tiny computer. Ken Jr. was wearing a pinkal section id as a necklace and she seen that. She looked at him and tapped him on the
shoulder "excuse me did you get the section ID look alike?". Ken Jr. looked at his neckalace "Its not fake its a real Pinkal section ID back up my mom gave me."

Hers eyes widened "Your mom was a hunter!?", Ken Jr. looked at her "Yea she
was a Force.". She asked "Was your father a hunter also?", Ken Jr. looked straight forward "I don't know he never tells me anything about his past. Anyways I would doubt it because he is weak.". She looked at him "sorry about that question. So whats your name? My name is Crystal.". He looked at her "My name is Ken Jr., but you can call me Ken.". She smiled "alright Kenny", Ken Jr. rolled his eyes. For the rest of the day the talked about hunter things and before the school day ended Ken Jr. asked Crystal out.

She walked with Ken Jr. and Ferris Jr. as they looked for Celestine. She came running out of the school and jumped at Ferris. "Hey did ya miss me" she said kissing his cheek. They looked at the new addition to their small group, "Hey whose the newman in the black?" asked Celestine. Ferris Jr. looked at her and whispered "Kenny's girlfirend",
Celstine held back a laugh because of her attire. Crystal intoduced herself and they began walking back to their houses. Crystal looked at Ferris Jr. and Celestine "So are your parents hunters also?". Ferris Jr. and Celestine looked at her "Yea both my parents are." said Ferris Jr. and Celestine said "My mom is a great ranger.". Then they looked at Ken
because he was aggrevated about his dad.

"Kenny is alright just because your father is weak and did nothing doesn't make us think any less of you." said Celestine as patted him on the shoulder. Ferris Jr's eyes lit up "hey when is your dad coming back from his trip?". Ken Jr. looked at him "I think next week." Crystal looked at Ken Jr. "Kenny, next week, then that means I could meet him.". He looked at her "Nothing much to see, but if you want to just come over to my house around 700 beats and he'll be there.". They arrived at their houses and Crystal meet Julia and the others. "Hello, my name is Crystal.", Julia and the others introduced themselves and then Crystal asked about Ken Jr's dad. "So was he a hunter like you guys are?". They didn't answer her and played it off like she didn't ask.

The week went by and the day Ken came back was here. "Alright your father will be back around 700 beats so make sure your home." said Julia as she was getting everything ready. Vivian and Rhea were helping get everything ready. Ken Jr. looked at
them "Why do you guys care that he is coming home I mean he is weak and wasn't a hunter like you are.". Vivian and Rhea looked at him, Vivian then said "One day you will see the truth and when it comes you'll be sorry.". They went back to getting everything
ready.

"I'm gonne be late, damn my make up" Crystal was going to be late, she was running towards Ken Jr's house as she seen a figure standing in the middle of the road. The figure was wearing a long leather jacket that covered him from the bottom of his nose to his feet.

Chapter 2 The Secret is Revealed

She stood next to a building hiding herself to were she could see why he was standing there. She seen a few hover cycles stop infront of the figure. It was some androids what seemed to be 3 HUcaseals and 3 HUcasts. They disembarked from their
vehicles and stood infront of the figure. A small wind picked up as the androids moved a little closer to the lone human. The androids were grinning a bit as they stopped about 10 feet in front of the man. "Those weapons your carrying seem to be pretty rare." said one of the HUcasts. Crystal looked at the man as he stood there staring into the HUcast's
glowing eyes.

"I'm not carrying any weapons." said the man as he began to turn around. The Hucast started to laugh "This Hucaseal here says different.". The man turned around facing the androids and the Hucaseal looked ta him with a smirk. "He is carrying 10,000
meseta, 2 long barreled handguns, a katana, and a large sword.". The Hucasts smirking said "Now you can either hand over the weapons and be on your way or you can try to fight us and die.". Crystal looked at the man as if he was about to be killed. The man looked at them and shook his head "If you try and mug me you will be dealt a slow death.".

Crystal looked at the man as some of the androids began to circle around him. They withdrew an assortment of hunter weapons. 4 of the androids had dagger type weapons, one had a saber type, and the leader had an Asuka. They circled the man
laughing at him as he stood there watching. One of the Hucaseals said "This is going to be easy money.". The Asuka wielding leader swung first at the man. The man stood there and watched the approaching blade. Crystal closed her eyes as she heard a connecting sound. But instead of hearing
cheering of a victory she heard gasps.

She opened her eyes and seen the man holding the wrist of the Hucast. The man pulled forward and the androids arm was severed before the other's eyes. The arm still held the Asuka tightly, then the man began to attack the other androids with the arm and blade. In a few minutes all the androids were destroyed and only the one armed leader was left. Crystal looked at the man with fear as she watched him dispatch 5 armed androids with one weapon. The Hucast out of the corner of his eye seen Crystal standing by the corner watching. He got an idea of using her as a hostage.

The man looked at the android and looked over and also seen Crystal. The android lunged towards Crystal with the other Asuka ready to cut her and make her un able to move. She was immolbilzed by fear as she seen the android charging towards her. Then she seen golden photon bullets piercing the android, every shot hit the android but
missed her. The android fell into the ground and she seen the man holding a Varista in his hand smoking from the attack. He holstered the weapon and picked up his bag, Crystal looked into his eyes as he walked towards her and seen a no fear in his eyes but a heart warming gentleness.

She turned and began running away from the man as he walked slowly towards her. She ran to Ken Jr.'s house to tell him and the others of what she seen. She arrived at the house and knocked on the door. Julia opened the door and seen the half crying
newman looking behind her. "Whats wrong, did someone attack you?" asked Julia as she let Crystal into the house. Crystal looked around for Ken Jr. and the others, "Were is Kenny and the others at?" she asked. Julia pointed towards Ken Jr.'s bedroom and Crystal ran off to it. Rhea walked over and asked "What happened to her? She is frieghtened as hell.". Julia shrugged and went back to the kitchen.

Crystal walked into the bedroom and seen Ken Jr., Ferris Jr., and Celestine sitting around talking. Ken Jr. turned aroudn and seen Crystal walk in with dry tear marks on her face. "What happened to you?" asked Ken Jr. as he got up and walked over to her. She looked at the others "I just seen a freakish act of strentgh and perfect aim." she said as she sat down. They looked at her "what do you mean?" asked Ferris Jr., Crystal looked at him and before she could say anything Julia came running in. "Kenny your dads home
hurry and hide.". Ken Jr. looked at Crystal "Tell me later.", and then they ran into the living room and hid.

Crystal hid right next to Ken Jr. and said "It was a man and he..." with that she
heard Ken Jr.'s dad walk in. They stood up and yelled surprise as Julia ran over and hugged him. Crystal stood back and looked in fear as she realized he was the same man that just destroyed six androids effortlessly. Ken Jr. walked back with his father "Dad, this is my girlfriend Crystal, Crystal this is my dad.". Ken looked at her and realized that she was the girl he saved. Julia grabbed Ken's arm and dragged him into the kitchen and Ken Jr. stayed with Crystal. "So what was that about a man and freakish strength?" he asked.

Chapter 3 The Past is Now the Present

Crystal looked at Ken Jr. alittle frightened about who she just seen. "So, are you going to tell me what happened or is it a sercret?" Ken Jr. asked. She was speechless and was standing there like she seen a ghost. She then blinked and looked at Ken Jr. "why do you say your dad is weak?" she asked. He raised an eyebrow "because, my mother is a
hunter but my father doesn't seem to be one." Crystal looked at him "you shouldn't judgepeople when you don't know them completely." She began to head for the door and looked into the kitchen. She seen the same eyes she saw when he fought the androids, an odd gentleness and sympathy.

Ken seen Crystal leaving and got up and headed the opposite way. Crystal just got out the front door and seen Ken standing infront of her. She looked behind her to see if the door was open and then looked back at him. "But, how....damn your fast." said Crystal as she looked at him. Ken smirked "what you seen me do today keep it to
yourself, because if you don't I can't promise that you'll be alive afterwards." he started walking back into the house as Crystal eyes widened. She started to walk away from the house wondering what he meant.

"Chief, all we have left to do is scan android memories. Should we start with androids that are still functioning or destroyed androids?" asked a man dressed in a lab coat. "Start with functioning androids and have the memorys scan the body shape and form. If that doesn't work check the off-line androids and see what their cause of
destruction was." said a woman sitting at a desk. "Alright, this process will take a few
hours or a few days, You should get the D-Prototypes ready so we can be ready as soon as the results are here." said a woman in a lab coat.

The day after Ken came back he was asleep in a chair in the living room. Ken Jr. was watching the television as he heard a knock at the door. He got up and opened the door, it was Ferris Jr. and Celestine. "Hey whats going on Kenny, mind if we come in" asked Celestine. Ken gave her a dirty look "yes and stop calling me Kenny dammit." They walked in and seen Ken asleep on the chair, "geez he is layed out, is he a light sleeper?" asked Ferris Jr. "No a war could go on and he still would sleep." said Ken Jr. as he went back to watching TV. They heard another knock at the door and Ken Jr. went to open it. It was Crystal, "hey Kenny I thought I would come over,. Is Ferris and Celestine here?" she asked. "Yep their right over there." said Ken Jr. as he let her in.

They walked in and sat down Crystal noticed Ken asleep in the chair. Ken Jr. noticed her looking at his dad "Don't worry he isn't gonna wake up and scare you." She looked back at him "You sure?" she got up and was was 2 inches from his face and his eyes shot open without any hint of movement. Crystal jumped back and started screaming
as if she was being murdered. They looked at Ken and the nat Crystal, Ken got up ignoring what happened and proceeded into his bedroom. Julai ran into the living room "What happened is someone hurt?" she asked as she looked at Crystal on the ground.

Then she noticed Ken was gone and looked at Ken Jr. "Wheres your dad at?" Ken Jr. pointed to their bedroom. She began to walk there but as she reached the door Ken walked out with his long leather jacket on. "Ken where are you going? No wait don't go." yelled Julia as she grabbed the phone. "Yea Rhea, get Ferris and Vivian and
hurry over here." Julia turned the phone off and tried ot keep Ken in the house. The teens watched as Julia stood infront of Ken not letting him get to the door. Then they seen Ferris, Rhea, and Vivian run past the window. "Whats going on?" asked Crystal, "I don't know." said Ken Jr. as he watched the others come in the house.

Ferris grabbed Ken's arm and in a second was thrown across the room almost hitting the teens as they sat their watching. Ferris jr. looked at his father and then at Ken Jr. "Holy Shit, I thought you said your dad was weak." Ken moved Julia out of his way and walked outside. Ferris got up and started to run after him. Everyone else in the house ran outside and seen Ken looking at 5 figures standing 30 feet away from the house.

Ferris turned around and ran back to the group "Alright this is going to get messy, keep the kids away from the fight." Julia nodded "alright you guys stay there.", Ken Jr. walked up to "Whats going on mom, why is dad over there and not any of you?" She looked at him "All that stuff you wanted to know about your father, well your going to get your answer." Crystal looked at the 5 figures that Ken was staring at.

Chapter 4 Battle With The Prototypes

Ken looked at the figures as they began to walk towards him. They started to as they got closer their identies were clear. There was a Fomarl, Fonwearl, Ramarl, and Hunewearl, and a women in a lab coat. They stopped around 7 feet from in front of Ken 15 feet from the others. They looked at Ken as he began to stand like nothing was wrong. The Fomarl and Fonewearl seemed to disappear and appeared on each side of the Ken"s family and friends. Ken looked at them as they created a barrier around the group and stood there. Before Ken turned around the Hunwearl swung a dagger at Ken's head. He easily dodged the attack with a backward hop.

The Hunwearl began to become off balance and almost fell. She managed to regain her balance and turned around and was met by a side kick to the stomach. She went a few feet back sliding across the ground. Ken turned from his attack and looked at
the women in the lab coat. The two forces watched as the Hunwearl began to stand up and run towards Ken. Ken didn't bother to turn around, instead he withdrew his sheathed Orotiagito and tripped the Hunewearl making her fall face first into the ground. The Ramarl that was standing there fired a round from her Bravace and almost hit Ken in the
side.

The Hunewearl and Ramarl fought together and seemed to be 5 times faster then they were when they first attacked. Ken noticed the speed increase bur didn't worry, as he was about to sweep kick the Hunwearl she used her new speed increase to dodge the
attack and land a kick to Ken's head. The Ramarl then attacked the off balanced fighter and with a round house kick sent him sliding 10 feet away. Julia and the others looked at the downed Ken and then at the two forces who kept them from moving. The Fomarl looked at the Fonewearl through the barrier. "They seem to be stronger then this so called ultimate warior. If each of us is stronger then him, we should have no problem with the
rebel." The Fonewearl nodded and smiled as Ferris looked at the Fomarl and began laughing.

They looked at Ferris "what is so funny." asked the Fonewearl. Ferris had a tear coming down his eye "You fools, he is toying with them, if he really wanted to end this it would have been over before you got to this city." The two forces looked at Ferris "Your bluff isn't that believable." said the Fomarl as she began watching the fight again. The Fonewearl looked at Ferris and then at the Fomarl "What if he isn't bluffing and that person
is just toying with them?" Ken Jr. looked at Ferris and then at his father fighting the two warriors. The Fomarl looked at her "If your worried then why don't we go help." with that they began running towards the battle.

Ken looked around as he was surrounded, he began to laugh as he stood up striaght and wiped some blood from his mouth. The Hunewearl charged at him and swung blindingly fast. In an instant they seen the Hunewearl fall to the ground gasping for
air. They looked at Ken, but he didn't move "Whats going on?" asked the Ramarl, after that she fell to the ground holding her stomach. The two forces then seen an image of Ken appear were the Ramarl was standing. He looked at the two and smiled, they looked at each other. The Fomarl and Fonwearl eahc got on a side of Ken. They charged up a grants spell and fired it at him. The two spells collided as Ken moved out of the way and a giant explosion appeared.

Ken stood at one end of the explosion and before he could move a black orb shot through the explosion. It hit him and he began to cough and fall to his knees. The Fonewearl and Fomarl were seen jumping over the explosion and standing infront of the weakend person. "That megid must have managed to shut his body functions down." said
Julia as she looked at her husband. Ken Jr. and the others looked at him as he was about to fall face forward into the ground. The Fonewearl caught him by his chin with one of her hands. "This is pathetic, the so called Ragol Savior can’t even defeat a force." she sad as her hand started to glow white. She was about to use grants on the half dead man. Ken through the pain started to laugh, the two forces looked at him. "The only sad thing
here was that was your strongest attack." With that Ken's aura began to show as he grabbed her hand. She looked at him with wide eyes as what seemed to be a dieing man just got stronger.

The same aura that he used to defeat Falz was back. The woman in the lab coat watched as he began to generate wind and pushed them back. Out of nowhere she said "This is good, he has to use his full strength to defeat them." Ken heard her "Wrong this is only a tenth of my strength." She her eyes widened "He has gotten stronger, then we have just sent four people to their death!" Ken looked at the tow forces as they tired to use megid and grants. Before the yeven casted teh spell he appeared in front of them and kocked them to the ground. "Call them off and they won't die" he said as his he looked at the woman in the lab coat.

You know I'm curious what your characters look like that I'm thinking of drawing them (though I am not the best of drawing unlike Batou, Relam and others). ^_^ Red Sabers? I have never found a Blue Hildbear or Hildeltor... but the only red weapon I've found is the Red Sword. Such a killing machine too bad it misses so much. God Battle? I've only found God Arm.
