Or if you don't feel like sitting there...you could do caves offline--should be a little better for lvling if you're gettin beat up in mines. repeat addicting food quest until you can do mines. then continue with mines.

or get yourself a good hit and machine % gun and play distance fight from the doors. at least find yourself a twin, partisan or sword and things should be a lot easier in mines soon.
