View Full Version : Mat experts...how do you guys find so many mats?

I'm really baffled by all the people who are able to max out the mat limit of their 1st level characters.

Where do you find so many mats? I use every mat I find right away, and NONE of my characters have even reached their mat limit yet.

Is there some trick to finding mats?

DUPING...yes I said duping, the wonders of duping make it possible, one material can turn int 100s, maybe even 1000s. I have done it myself, maxed out my FOmars luck.

"Wonders of duping"? Hmph...

I just wander around with my Viridia character and use the mats I find with him to supply my other characters...I found 12 mats (of various kinds) in one run through normal ruins once.

Yeah I have to agree I just find alot by running around especialy when I'm trying to get rare weapons. They either just drop or I find them in a box.

I smash Every Box and kill everything

Moths in Vhard seems to drop Pow Mats fairly regularly for me but I am a Bluefull.

Keep playing the same area over and over. Sometimes I am guaranteed one material per run. Hey, it's still one material.

level a chara past 100 and you'll have more materials than you'll ever need. i have a seperate chara for materials and grinders - that is 190 mats and 40 trigrinders (around). heck i even sell mats i dont need.

i use to make "the fake in yellow" ultimate, always get around 3 mats/run.

Yep, Ultimate Fake In Yellow is definitely great for mats. My Pinkal gets 1-3 mats and a Stag Cutlery or Photon Drop every time.

Yes I agree with the Fake In Yellow also...I used to get tons of materials whn I did that quest looking for a red handgun.

Duping is the way I got my Force user to use an Elysion at like lvl.7.

Ya, I jut maxed out my FOmar with materials except HP, which I used about 75. I am level 37 and have 1156 TP. HAHAHA o well I guess I was just bored.
