ok here it is the amazing way to uncorrupt a char yet its so stupid that no one tried it.. or said it ive tried it twice now so tell me if it works or not:)....
when corrupt just play multi mode and put the corrupt char in the second or 3rd or 4th person as long as its not the first it will never check the stamp since it loads the first players saved stuff(levels etc) and then quit.... and your character it no longer corrupt

Umm...the time stamp is not what causes corruption. Unless the save did not complete on all three files so they are mismatched. The corruption is from missing data. The GCN memory cards are flash memory meaning it has to erase BEFORE it can rewrite the data...it has to erase an entire block of data and then rewrite it. The corruption sometimes from the memory card being erased and the data not being fully rewritten.
