My First Real Rare=)

So there I am putzing around in the Mines on Hard, when to my surprise I come across a shield that is not a plasma barrier. Taken back a bit I realized that I had stumbled across my forst rare item of any consequence (I have found 2 delsabers busters, but have been told that they are very common). It was a REGENERATE GEAR. I was amazed and extatic. I am not sure how rare (or common) this is, but at the moment I dont really care http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif.

Just out of curiosity is your character a Redria, Arajuna? A friend of mine who's a Redria found a REGENERATE GEAR off of a Canadine. As for myself, an Al Rappy dropped the one I have.

As for the usefullness of the working REGENERATE GEAR... it's about nil on Very Hard mode. Even with a maxed-out EVP on my level 100 HUnewearl, I rarely am able to deflect hits. Better going with either a Celestial Shield for the overall stats, or a SACRED GUARD (if you can find one - and you will sooner or later) to avoid status anomalies.

AAHHH!! I have yet to see any special creatures... oh how I have hunted for an Al Rappy.

But I have been finding some rares finally. Got a delsaber right arm, bloody art, and brave knuckles all within days of each other! yay!
