...yes, Macromedia does 30-day trials of some of their stuff, flash included. This should take you to where you can d/l it: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/

On a side note... IRL, I actually program and design in Flash for a living, so if anyone has any questions, I'd be more than willing to help you out. In addition, there's a great site out there that can serve as a good online reference at www.flashkit.com...
