HELP! Corrupted Character File

My brother was playing PSO. A problem arose while he was online in a game and he hit restart. Now, he lost all of his non-equiped inventory and his character file is corrupt. Is there anyway to salvage his character or get back the items?

i only carry one weapon around now

try deleting the guild card file.
sometimes that works.

Or use some of the tricks mentioned here and there relating to multi player.

He tried the Guild Card trick, but it didn't work. Oh well, my brother didn't play the game much anyway, so I guess he'll just never do it in the future.
