does he/she play with you?? In my case, she does both... Sometimes, the first thing she does when she enters my apartment is asking me if we can play a little bit. To that i smile, but somewhere i figure that she does it just because she knows how much i love the game... Awwww, what a woman)... But sometimes, she can get a little bit upset with me. And, honestly i understand why... The other day, i sleept over at her house and the minute i woke up i had a an overwhelming desire to play PSO (you all know the feeling http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif )... And when i said it to her, she got sad of course... She says that sometimes it feels like she comes second... That is not the truth though, she always comes first... But ive got to tell u, its hard sometimes...

Does anyone here have a similar problem... Prolly not, right?? Im just to sad, arent i http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

heh... I used to... but, hell, I wasn't giving her any respect back then. I never seemed to care about her. X_x Things have, luckily, changed now, and I can resist PSO when needed...

ROFL, phasma! That's hilarious! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Does my girlfriend complain about me? Of course not! I don't have one! http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

...Anyway, one of the keys to a good relationship is being honest with your partner. So that means no excuses. And as for elfin, I recommend a honest chat with your girlfriend about this issue.

I know the feeling, and I always get that overwhelming desire to play PSO. For me that game is very addicted. I don't have a problem with a relationship because of that, she and I chat online and are planning to meet in person again. But because of PSO, sometimes I kill too much time. Time goes so fast when playing this game. But yeah, our woman always goes first. Phasma, that was funny btw.

She HATED when I played it for the DC. She even hid it on me once.

Since then, I've broken up w/ her http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

actually only 2 people know that i play pso. that would be my best friend and my current partner... and usually i deny that i played it last night (i'm just incredibly sleepy out of the sudden) ^-^;

No. She just goes and does something she wants to do. The only issue is when she wants to play. Biggest mistake was allowing her to try PSO. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif But honestly I don't mind too much. It allows me to do something else on those nights.

My wife used to complain untill we got our big screen. It has a split screen mode so I can play PSO on one half and she can watch whatever she wants on the other. It's a 65" Widescreen so even split in half, each side is way bigger than our old 27".

Well, my boyfriend is a gamer, and I knew that when I started going out with him. He wanted me to play stuff, but I was really horrid at everything but Tetris (I can kick his but 9 times out of 10+).

And then, almost two years into our relationship, PSO for the cube came along. He bought thte game, and we tried it out. I was, naturally, bad at it, but it was fun!

I now own a cube, PSO, and play it online. I'm much better now, somewhere approaching good even. Sometimes we'll play together split screen, and twice he's pulled in a spare TV so we can play online together.

so, no he doesn't complain about my playing. Its his fault after all.

And I don't complain about his playing. I just bought him Vampire NIght for the PS2.

well my x-gf didnt even know I played PSO, nor did she know what PSO was. If I were to say something she would be one of the people that thought it stood for Playstation One.

She would come over to my house and see my gcn and keyboard and everything but never really asked about it or what not.

I generally only play from like 2am-8am (damn insomnia) so by that time she was asleep anyways..

the biggest thing with my husband and i is that we fight over who is gonna play next. though i will admit that we do argue over it. mainly that one of us wants to play.

My girlfriend and I play together all the time. She's probably more addicted than I am. We even bought another cube and another xbox when the respective versions came out. We're both game junkies.

My girlfriend plays pso with me a lot.. Shes not online yet like i am but she plays offline just as much. It's really nice to be able to talk to my loved one about items and aspects of certain games. Shes great! So my advice is to get yourself a partner that enjoys the same things you do.. Much easier and makes for some great conversations hehe http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

hahaha... thanks, but no thanks.. I wont give up a woman i love because she as i mild intresst in PSO. Its not that she doesnt "allow" me to play or anything, she actually encourge it... But you could almost say that she envys the game for getting that much attention. She thinks that its good that i found something that i really like, and shes happy for me... She wants me to be happy, and PSO makes me happy http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif... I guess its really up to me to show her that she means more to me than anything else. Though maybe im overdoing it just a tad. The fact that i made this post in the first place proves that she means very much to me. I just need to get things in perspective... PSO is after all just a game, and Lina, my beautiful woman is the kindest and most loving person ive ever meet. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

that's a good question, I should ask her.

Hey Lolita, do you think my playing PSO all the time has put a strain on our relationship?

She really hasn't mentioned it much but she's a sweetheart like that.

My girlfriend is just as much an addict as I am. I swear this game is like crack. She plays videogames just as much (if not more) than I do. We both play PSO offline together on gamecube. I'm glad that I found someone that enjoys doing the same things that I do. She is a beautiful maiden that brightens my darkest day. She put life in the void that was once my soul. I shall love her beyond the vast starscape that is eternity. I consider myself lucky to have found this maiden that breathed love, joy, and happiness into my emotionless shell. I shall love her forever & always.

P.S.:I have answered your question, now you owe me your SOUL!!!!!!!!!!!HAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!

Some people... http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Anyways, when this game came out for the DC, my boyfriend and I would argue over who would get to play. Then he started messing around with other games, and didn't have time for PSO.

After that, there was a while when I was on for days at a time because I knew several other sleep deprived PSO monkeys. That was the only time he complained that I was playing too much. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Now I have the cube version. He hasn't created a character yet, although there is a space reserved for him.

We no longer argue over PSO- But now that we are getting Viewtiful Joe, the struggle will begin anew. ^-^
