Anybody who has this can they tell me how many hits it has. I hope its not disapointing like the Heart of Poumn. They only have 3 hits, but they were duel claws.... Does that make any sense to you? You dont even attack with the claws, you hit with your knuckes and the claws just kinda sit there and look cool. Oh well anyway can somebody tell me how many hits Sange and Yasha has lol.

5? Is that how much twin swords like Yamoto hit for?

Why do twin SABERS have 6 hit combos and twin SWORDS/KATANAS have 5 hit combos? It doesn't make sense...

If you can compare Twin Sabers and Twin Swords to there rarity then will you see that Twin Sabers have lower ATP but hit more, while Twin Swords have higher ATP but hit one less in a full combo.

This is a generalization, but it holds true in most cases.

Sange and Yasha is not a Twin Sword.

Just read its description and you'll understand me.

Item descriptions/names can be deceiving.

Battle Verge:

"A legendary cane made so Forces can hold their own in a fight. Halves enemy HP."

There is no way that the Battle Verge is a Cane.
It's a Staff, no ifs ands or buts.

Just because it says Katana in the item description, that doesn't make it a class of it's own.

Sange&Yasha (or should I say Kamui&Yasha) is a Twin Sword Type and that's all there is to it.

No disputin' the DJ - the Sange & Yasha is special only because you have to have two non-identical katanas to make it. The reason why it isn't exactly the same class as the Musashi/Yamato/Asuka is because those paired swords are all exactly the same. The Sange and Yasha are two different swords used together - hence "paired".

I'm gonna stop now while I still can understand myself. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

In reality, calling them Twin Swords is incorrect. That's too much of a confusion issue with what really are called Twins, such as the Double Saber. The S-rank is called Twin after all. Now from what I've heard of people mentioning the (im)Perfect Strategy Guide, the S-rank is actually called Swords (plural). However, that's too easy to confuse with the regular Sword class. The proper term to use for these swords is very simply Paired Swords. Why you ask? Simple: the descriptions of the weapons say so.

"A pair of swords..." And if I'm not mistaken, even the Sange & Yasha's description reads: "A pair of Katanas that work perfectly in concert with one another." So in summary, we should be calling these weapons Paired Swords, or at the very least just simply Pair. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Ok ok.. they have the same attack pattern as Musashi, Yamoto and Asuka .... and not all twins are Identical... there's also conjoined or fraternal.. I was calling them a Twin Sword type weapon since that's what the pso database called them. Now I know better.

Now for the two different types of weapons is it 2-2-1 and 2-1-3? The 1 in the Double saber type where the hunters get hit the most? If not then it's just a personal preference and nice to see not every hunter using a bkb.

Can sange and yasha be combined into 1 wep? because i can only wield them seperately at the time...i hear you speaking of using both like a "pair of swords" but how can i equip them both.. where/how do i combine them?

VulpesMundi

Nani-Chan: Twins have an attack pattern of 2-1-3. Pairs have an attack pattern of 1-2-2.

Tritan: Yes, they can be combined. You need a hunter with a minimum of level 100 and 800 base ATP. Remember that the one you have equipped will determine what % will appear on the combined weapon, and the other one's % will be lost. Also, once combined they cannot be uncombined.

i'm confused as to why dj said "kamui"...can someone clarify this?

Reenee

Because the game model of the katana used by the Kamui is also the same one being used by Sange, not forgetting to mention that Sange also shares the tekking picture as Kamui.
