Both Goldeneye and Halo were innovative games in the eras they launched. Many of these games should not be compared against each other, games are developed for certain audiences are are made to do certain things. A James Bond games needs James Bond. Richard Gatling wasn't around in the middle ages to invent the gatling gun, so don't expect high-tech weaponry in your Middle Ages RPGs. I voted for 007. Why? It was the 1st FPS I bought and I am proud to admit I'd still play it. Halo, on the other hand, caters to all a video gamer ever wanted, but lacks online. If it had gone online, it would have won my vote (Mostly anyways)

yEP thats the best single play FPS to ever be created...But Multimode has to be Golden Eye.

BAH!!! i really disliked METROID PRIME. Even with my A.D.D skillz it still didnt suit me. The best first person shotter of all time is (drum roll) 007:Goldeneye. comeon now who did not like that game

without id Software's Wolfenstein 3D, Doom series, and Quake series, no one would be able to appreciate first-person shooters like they are today

and since half life has been around soo long and it has the largest community (the cs community is half life, der) it gets my vote.

Doom and Deus Ex.

Doom because, along with its two sequels, it took up nearly a whole year of my life playing it.

Deus Ex because it was so in depth, had a good storyline and everytime ive played it ive managed to find things i havent before cause ive used different stats.

I heard that Dues Ex is a good game. But for Doom and Duke Nukem those games i would play for hours but they still dont math up to the power of 007:Goldeneye
