I am posting this in a separate thread to make sure everyone reads this as it may save them in a future dilemma.
Well, after buying a new DC today and coming home, I decided to call Sega to get my new access key and begin the task of starting a new char.
As it turns out, there is a new policy today that allows them to go into the servers and reset the DC serial # connected with your old access key and replace it with your new serial #, meaning your old characters will not be corrupted because the server thinks 2 DC's are using the same disc. I will have to wait 24 hrs for the change to take effect. So if this happens to you, and a rep tells you too bad, make sure you mention this to them.
After thinking I was up the proverbial creek,,, I seemed to have found a paddle. LOL
