What item do I need to activate the regeneration function, or are the Regen Shield and Adv Regen Shield just not related to it.

Nothing. They're all separate items, each found individually. Proto Regen Gear will always be useless.

thats a bit silly isn't it? So why does it require such a high lvl (66?) to equip, when its stats aren't very good?
