Mag: Ack! Mag screw up?

I could use a little advice here.

I'm trying to get a mind-based nidra. My character is a bluefull FOmar. I traded off a varuna from my hunter to start off my Force's mag. I then raised this mag to level 35, with mind > dex & pow, but it turned into a vayu. Could anyone please explain what Happened? I thought trading it off would let it achieve a new evolution. I was planning on trading the mag off to a ranger at 35 in order to evolve it to an Apsaras, but I don't know if it will work now. PLease tell me what's wrong.

Some mags, based on stats, are shared by more than one class. Asparas, for example, can evolve for both HU and RA, so can Kama. Garuda can evolve for HU and FO.

Your mag should evolve if fed by an RA.

No, by all accounts, I should have gotten a Namuci.

The order went like this.

I started out with a hunter.

Mag -> Varuna

I traded it off to my Force.

Varuna -> Vayu.

Mind was the highest stat. I should have gotten a namuci, the Force mag. Instead, I got Vayu, a hunter mag.

The class only affects the evolution at lv 5 and lv 50 and beyond. Since you gave it to a HU at lv 5, it will evolve as a HU MAG, regardless of who feeds it, at lv 35.
