ultimate jungle help plz

in the end of the jungle area there is this creature thats a mutated flower called a mericarol. in normal threw very hard hez a EZ. but in ultimate hez impossible to kill. he fires some wierd energy ball that kills me instantly. can someone tell me how to kill this bitch so i can go to the gal gryphon. i am a lvl 118 Humar.

Try using a FRozen shooter, Freeze traps, what ever to freeze it, and continue.

Before it spawns, be standing behind where it appears. Use a twin weapon and pound the hell out of it.

I'd just use a handgun and shoot one combo then dodge the blast, repeat.

He said he is a HUmar, which can't use Frozen Shooter or traps...

not really, but it has alot of high HP monsters with highly interuptive attacks.

my hunewearls patented way to kill mericarol:
get a full photonblast-gauge by allowing the first 3 plant thingies to hit you. then finish them off, get a twin or mechgun type and post yourself behind where mericarol spawns.
while it turns around, fire an estlla-pb (thats the dolphin) - this should do around 2000 damage? at least it does that much for me. then finish it off with the weapon.

my fonewearl just stays miles away and casts 5 or 6 zonde and its done.

you could also use good mechguns:
approach it, fire a full combo - then evade to the side, full combo, then to the side again. if you stay away enough, it wont try to run over you and its megid-like firenballs fly past you.
the difficult part here is the timing - you will have to aim with the mechguns within a second, correct combo and then you'll have to imediatly evade to the side. one mistake and you're dead ^_^

Ya, it almost is impossible heh...Atleast on DC v2 it was.
