or am i stuck with slow weapons that seem useless due to speed?

No. But you can use God or Devil battles to add to that speed. If your a RA, a God/battle is almost a neccesity.

Ya, try to find a devil battle or the more difficult God Battle and you should be set to go.

You will have a hard time.
Yeah, especially if you are using daggers or a sword, get youself a god battle. They kick ass.

Since you're a Viridian, I can help.

Being one myself.. go to the caves on VHard. Pipe for Nar Lillies. I got 2 Devil/Battle's this way.

As for the God/Battle..I dunno what drops it for us without looking, but I suggest just skipping the Devil/Battle and getting the God unit. There's not that much of a difference with the Devil.
