Can someone tell me what IQ of a MAG determines? I've had my MAG at 200 IQ, but even when he's dumb as rocks I don't notice any difference.

IQ is supposed to determine the chance of getting a bonus from it. It also determines how powerful a PB is, along with Synchro.

But, Synchro also plays a role with how strong a PB is.

I thought syncro was for how fast ur PB generates.

it is defined inside too.

"Synchro - This rates how well a MAG responds to its master. Higher Synchro results in faster photon energy charging and better odds that the MAG will perform an action."

Agreed.

and I'm sure IQ does affect PB power...but don't different PB's have percents?

(eg. Pilla works well in caves)

How does ur mag determine whether it revives you when you get killed. I thought iq did that but i dont know

I've heard that Pilla does light magic damage, so the enemy's ELT will play a role in how much damage it does to it.

So to summarize...

Synchro: How fast PB fills up, power of PBs

IQ: Power of PB's...

IQ is also supposed to affect the chances of the MAG giving you bonuses when your PB meter fills, you enter boss battle, and such.
