Getting Better Items For lvl100+ chars?

Hello. i have been playing pso now for ages with quite a few mates (its pretty fun coz we trade items with each other and stuff http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif which is nice) anyway i am the highest Lvl im a hunter lvl 101 and im on ultimate. i know that u can get items which are really good and for ages i was thinking that u cant get them till ur lvl 100+ because it would be alittle silly, anyway i went in ruins for a good while (on ultimate) and i was still picking up the same old shit, so is there any increase of chance that u can get better items at a certain lvl or will it be just Very Very Damn Rare to find Other stuff? thanks to the people which reply and help me out,

it is not supposed to increase the chancesof getting Rare items/weapons. there are just more rare items/weapons.
