OMG I had a brain fart, err i mean a moment of high and supperior intelect!!! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

PSO is always Growing, and with new people we will always have the same questions being asked. Examples include:

Dude wheres are the rares?
Dude does my Section ID suxxors?
Dude my force sucks should I start over?
Dude how can I avoid this BSoD?
Dude wheres my car?

You get the point. Well since joining back in late Feb, I have read some killer post where people were in the mood to answer these and other questions and had many responses.

My suggestion (this sucks for mods but I will help ya Ambrai http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_wink.gif

Create a "Hall of Fame" or "Archives section"

Go thought the pages of posts and find those that are full of useful feed back. The ones where eveyone and their brother said what rares they had, or what they like about their character or Force disscussion, ranger vs Hunters etc.

We could either have the threads locked or keeped unlocked for people to keep adding. I would suggest that no new topics can be started and only threads moved by the mods can be in there.

What do you guys think? I just think not only will this save alot of space in General section, but will also make the noobies feel a little bit better when people decided not to respond to a question that has been asked everyday at least twice http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_smile.gif

I think anything to help break down the 20+ pages of General http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif

PHP Nuke (I think that's what this is) is basically a clone of UBB, only it's in PHP and is free. That said, there should be a search function available for the board.

The upside of this is that it'd cut down on the redundancy. The downside is that the search function would suck up even more time, and the server is getting hammered as is. Still, with the new server on the way, a search function would be a great addition to the board.
