I was never into grouping peoples beliefs into groups. Not all Liberals or Conservatives or anything beleive the EXACT same thing.

I once heard that if you have a heart, you will be a liberal from the ages 15-29; and if you have a brain, you will be a conservative from 30-77. Can anyone vouch for this?

Well, I'm conservative, but the very idea of having people I disagree with leave just isn't right. I'm not going to make any comments about liberals or conservatives, but I think this poll is based on the comments certain actors made about leaving the country if Bush was elected.

And this is what I've been trying to tell Morphos all along, but does she listen?

No this poll is based on the fact that she went to goolge images and found a bunch of pictures making fun of liberals.

Most people are liberal as they are younger. They become increasingly conservative as they reach middle age and so on. Around retirement age, however, it is typical that voters revert back to liberal. Because liberals are more in favor of programs such as medicare that can benefit them. Just the typical way it works. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_bunny.gif

i hope you dont have 'europe' in mind. its crowded here with americanism of any kind anyway.

nah, you will have to divide the US into two different countries - left/right or top/bottom - like you want - you could even checker it into 4 pieces. and then, if your presidents feel like it, you could start your little private wars between each other every year.
doesn't that sound just wonderful?

Well I've always wanted to visit Europe, but I'm not moving anywhere.

This is crazy, why would we, (in America), force people out of our borders just because they have a different ideology? If you ask me, that goes against anything we've ever stood for.

I'm libral, but I'm not a leftist crazy commies and femnazis...
The left isn't libral anymore; it needs drastic reform until I'd ever declare myself a leftist.

I have my conservative views and problems, too; but how our media and culture always bash Republicans and do nothing to Democrats gets me quite furious about double standards.

I find it hard to believe that people would truely change that much as they get older. Most younger people don't care for politics, and they are probably the ones who become conservatives when they get older. Besides polls show that the views of teens mirror that of adults, so its probably just a myth. It probably has to more with generation than age.

I'm an Upist. ;-P(If you go to a political party's website, half the time they'll have a quiz to place you on a grid. Left is Democrat, Right is Republican, Centre is Centrist, Down is Socialist IIRC, and Up is Libertatian. I'm almost at the very top, slightly to the left, practically an Anarchist. Actually, I'm all for anarchy, but it can't work in the real world, much like communism... It's a good -idea-, but it just doesn't -work- in real life because people aren't intelligent enough to deal with it and are too corrupt.

As for leaving the country... Well, the radical conservative patriot dweebles kept saying all the people who didn't support the war on Iraq should leave the country. And god, be glad you don't have AOL, they ran an article on Canada legalizing gay marriage and 99% of the responses to it were from radical judgemental right-wing Christians who were saying things like "Good, now all the ***s will go to Canada and the US can return to being God's country and Canada will be in ruins" and all kinds of bigoted, hateful, disgusting things. And people wonder why I hate Christians in general, it's because most of the ones I encounter are like that. I know some aren't, my dad's Christian and he's gay and TS, so yes, I know, you're not all like that, but it's easy to lose sight of that fact when literally thousands of people want you to -die- because you're not like them. And I live in the Bible Belt because my mom got transferred there from Northern California... You have no idea how much I want to go back. Although I might just make the idiots happy and move to Canada. Things are shaky at times with the boyfriend, and I've a nice girlfriend I love dearly(Yes, I have both, no, they don't mind eachother, yes, I'm weird) I wouldn't mind marrying. Feh. *end tired ramble*

I don't know about the getting more Conservative when you get older, but it has been proven that around college age, most people tend lean more to the left.

Since the vast majority of Americans think we are traitors(No wonder Ann Coulter's books are best sellers all the time), I think we should leave. Nearly every American thinks we hate the country and are facists. So I don't see why we shouldn't leave.
