this is just a suggestion, but every now and then people should drop in to the noobie area and say hi, it would be good because it would encourage noobs to stay and or read the forum rools, you have no idea how much a member just saying hi and appearing scitzophrenic can help a noob to settle in. You may think i've lost my marbles and your right I lost them ages ago but anyway just though I'd share because not many people drop in there.

He's right. It helps when the usual members stop in and say hi to those who just signed up and are new. You can get to know them, emphasis to read and follow the rules(that way they don't feel "wronged" and defiled after they keep breaking rules and action has to be taken) and generally just the usually "Hi and Welcome".

Besides, you never know what friends you might make, yeah?

I should write a song about newbies, and give that to everyone new that posts here. Cool(by my standards, atleast) people will stick around, people who aren't cool will flee in terror.
