Where do you get your character names?

Hey just a general question; how do you decide/make up/come up with your character's name?

I usually base mine off an anime character. On the GC, you can make a pretty convincing Vash the Stampede of Trigun or Squall Leonhart of FF8(both of which I have done). You can also make a good Trunks, both normal and SSJ. I also made a character that could pass for a Gundam.

So what have you done? What kind of characters do you have and what are their names??

I got mine from my sign; I'm an Aries. I think the name sounds cool.

I just usually make up a name, or get one from an anime i've seen. Or most of the Japanese names are from people that i know.

Well I named my first character after myself, but the second one I made just sounded kinda cool, She is an android and her name is .Xeno

SMac is my nickname in school... But I don't have a PSO character called SMac... I'm DevilFyre on PSO (and here, I just can't remember my password and my e-mail address that I registered with was deleted), and the name is a spoof of AngelFire.

I tend to name mine after character names I use in other RPGs. Of which, some are based on anime characters, while others are just names that I happen to like. On the other hand, PSO's Section ID selection has lead me to try new names in an effort to get particular IDs.

My main character name is my nickname,(Jacko) my others i made up cos they sound cool(Halox,Killigha).

Lol yea good old Vash the Stampied "The humaniod typhon" "60 billion double dollar man" lol im get caried away..I got my characters from DBZ theres like android 17, and 18 well my character are Android_15 and Android_14.....you get alot of cool ideas from watching good animes.

I usually try not to name my chars after anime or movie characters, mostly I base my names off of characters from RPGs or stories I wrote myself. Of the 8 characters I currently have on the GameCube, only 1 name is unoriginal as far as where I got the name.. but that's ok coz no one gets it anyway. Otherwise, Narako is from the one and only sci fi I tried to write, as are Mahao and Shiro. Evengale is a D&D character of mine, Hana I made up on the fly, Kitsune I made to fit into the PSO storyline and Gwenhwyfar I made just so i could make Satos ^_^
