Power Maser!?!

I Recently traded for a power maser. i Am a Level 53 RayMarl. The power Maser raised my atp to about 1450 ATP, but for some reason my strong attacks were only doing 100-150 damage!!!!!(very hard mode). I own other weapons that make my Atp even lower that do more damage, even a handgun! Can Someone tell me Whats UP?????!!!!

check if anything is unequipted that could be it cause i know when i forget to equip stuff its a major burden so check that

The Power Maser (and the Maser Beam) are based on spell damage. The ATP is non-effective for this weapon. MST will raise the damage slightly, but don't expect much out of it. One of the worst weapons in the game.
