You need a propper ISP to get online, ditch AOL, and then spend ages removing it from your P.C.

Well there might be another option for you if you have the broadband adapter. I'm not sure how to but you could probably hook up your gamecube through a NIC (Network Interface Card) on your PC and sign in to AOL http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_barf.gif to play online. A CAT5 Network Cable will be good enough to connect from your gamecube to your PC. It's just a theory but I think it should work. That's how my friend has his XBOX hooked up. You should create a new topic to see if anyone has connected in this manner using the gamecube and exactly what they had to do.

If you're using win 98SE/Me/XP, you can use internet connection sharing via having the cube hooked up to a network card.
