Example of why:

(*A pathetic little HUmar runs at me slashing and screaming with a double saber like a cheap kung fu character* Me:"Oh for christ's sake..." *me blasts the HUmar six times in the head with a Flame Visit*)

No offence, but I can hardly STAND to use short range weapons like that,
which is why I also pretty much dispise Mechguns.
If you were to watch me try to use a saber or partissan(however you spell it) in combat the reasons for this would quickly become evident.
