Third Legit Psycho Wand found by a US Player! [Archive]

Maximus where are you coming up with these numbers? I seriously doubt that is the 3rd legit ever found by US player. As I have stated before you have no way of knowing how many people have found it. I got mine legit. Vulpes found his legit. So are you saying you are the only other player in the entire United States to find it. Thats completely ridiculous. I'm glad you found one and thats definitely a cool thing, but keep your statistics out of it because they are WAAAYYYY off.

Heh you always make it sound like its some amazing feat that is nearly impossible to do. IT ISN'T. It's all about how much time you are willing to devote to it and how lucky you get. If someone looks hard enough for it, they will eventually find it. Case closed.

Also take into account hat not everyone who plays belongs to forums or plasters pics of their finds all over the internet.

yes violet sky, i know what ur intentions are, but i dont want this topic (a celebration of a VERY rare find) to turn into another arguement about who is legit and whos not, and how many have been found. cant we just focus on the fact that one was found and not worry about how many have been found in the past? cant we just all get along? also i beleive that maximus' intent in saying the third legit in US is saying that he has the third, PROVEN find, in his opinion of course. he saw a guy with hit% on a PW so he knows that is legit. vulpes mundi has another legit. now as far as maximus beleives, there are no other PROVEN legit PW's. anyways just trying to keep the calm in and stop the storm from happening, as last time i remember u and maximus chatting, it got pretty ugly. anyways, sorry if i seem rude or ignorant, im trying not to be

I think what he means is he is only the third player who visits any site that he does who is able to actually prove they have found one, which is still saying alot. It's a nice find, though i have to say even with my ID, im not going to spend 20+ hours of my life just PIPING for a wand. not to diminish the value of the PSYCHO WAND, but if i happen to come across a mil lilly that drops one, nice, if not, oh well. I just think its funny how most of the time this guys topics end up in flame wars, and mostly, the mods dont. say. a damn. thing. which is good lol.

First off, showing a picture of a TV screen at the tekker doesn't prove that you are the one that found it. Secondly, how in the world do you know that you are the 3rd US player to find one? I could have easily found one with one of my character before you and not say anything about it. Third, all of these posts about you making a big deal over legit uber rares are getting old.

You are right executor. it should be a positive post about someone finding a great rare. Congrats to maximus for the find. I completely disagree with it being the 3rd, but thats just my opinion.

How is that hypocritical? Just because I have amassed a large quantity of copies (dupes) doesn't mean I don't look for them myself. Also if you actually took the time to click the link, you would see the duping section is not even up. So go bother someone else with your idiotic drivel.

People like you, violet, are the reason why i often play in locked games. people who cant seem to find items on there own, and use duped ones until they manage to, which in my opinion would be hardly satisfying, because the use of dupes in the first place means you used a handicap that wasnt meant for the game, and you still cheated to get your "legit" items.

Again, more senseless drivel. When I play online (which is RARELY) i almost always play in locked games with people I know. So your overly general portrayal of my online habits is grossly incorrect. Also I never claimed to be legit, so I'm not sure why people keep throwing that in my face. I use dupes and twinked chars to get to ult quickly, then I look for items on my own. I personally don't enjoy the game that much that I want to spend hundred's of hours looking for items. Pardon me if I have a life outside of PSO. To me this is merely a little game I play occassionally to pass the time, like all my other games. So if you feel that I'm truly missing out because I'm not "putting in the time" to buld 100% legit chars, then so be it. You can bash me all you want (in fact join the club) it doesn't change the fact that I get very bored with this game very quickly. It can be addicting in short spurts but overall its a simplistic game with a minimal story line. PSO is not a way of life for me. its a way to kill some time once in awhile when I don't have other things going on.

Of course I did see the link wasn't up, but just that you want to teach people how to dupe disgusts me. If you don't want to play much hours, than settle for some less good equipment, and even if you want a non legit equipment, don't set it as your trade list. Maybe you think it's nice, but you ruin the game for loads of other people who do play fair.

People have the freedom to play the game however they see fit. If they want to play legit, thats cool, if they want to use dupes thats cool too. I am not in support of people that use dupes running into random games and bogarting the exp from everyone else. As for my tradelist, I'll list whatever I feel like listing. For the uninitiated (which you obviously are) I'm not going to recount my entire post about my PSO beginnings. Suffice it to say I played legit offline before I ever heard of duping, PSOW, or any of this. And I have a number of legit rares I found myself. But even if I didn't, I can say whatever the hell I please as long as its not against the forum rules. If I want to congratulate someone on finding something then I will. Who the hell are you to tell anyone what they can and can't say to people. You obviously have a high opinion of yourself if you believe that you have the right to tell others what they should or should not express. It's my opinion that you shouldn't congratulate someone with finding a really rare item when you have a link to a site where you get explained how to dupe (even if the link isn't working). I never said that you aren't allowed to say that, so your last post didn't make any sense. I just said it's hypocrite what you did.

I'm not here to make complete flamewars and I think you know very well what I'm talking about. I really don't feel like flaming the rest of the evening with you, at least evening here in europe, so let's keep it with this allright?

Well all i have to say is great find maximus. It must of been annoying going through all that too get a psycho wand. If i ever found one i'd probably use it. I use the Soul Eater with my other characters and that takes away hp too so i'd most likely use the psycho wand.

Great find Maximus! a Psychowand...wow...that's one of my favorite rares in the game, i can only hope to find one eventually. this is going to make some people very angry, but i would accept a duped pw just to have one (although...since i have no online capabilities, it'll be hard for me to get a duped item...period...) anyway, congrats!
