Quest: From the Depths (There's a Door?)

I have a feeling that someone has asked this question before, but when I was doing the quest once again to get my friggin SOUL EATER from Mr. Kireek. There is a door in Ruins 2 that is there but you can't get there because it looks like a wall, does anyone have a valid explanation for this? You hear the door opening and closing, but you can get to it.

I think people have come to the conclusion that ST made a mistake with the map for that quest.
