what does this do I see all of these people talking about it I know its frozen screen of death but what does it do take your Items or something so you cant get them back.

Essentially. Most often you lose everything on your character that is not equipped, including your meseta.

It's get's tricky sometimes though. I've had it claim an equipped weapon and i've had it claim only my meseta. This is not the general case though.

FSOD's been following me around a lot lately... sigh.

I can't say i know exactly what causes it. If i knew, i could probably do more to avoid it. I've FSOD'd chosing a ship, FSOD'd telepiping, FSOD'd initiating a quest. Hell, my last FSOD was while i was running through Pioneer 2 during Gallon's Shop. Right as i equipped my Red Handgun so i wouldn't lose it in a worst case scenario, bang, freeze, jump to black, music keeps going, music stops. When i restart, of course, all item data was deleted, including my beloved RH.

Yeah, well I've been FSOD'ed offline to, when I was buying stuff at the shop, I dropped an Item so I could cary it and BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzT, FSOD!
