Special Weapons On Normal!?!?!?!

I was venturing in the beginning areas of Ruins 1 on Normal Difficulty and go into a treasure room, only to have a couple Dimenians and a Dark Belra appear outside. After they took a whiff of some Razonde, low and behold the Dark Belra dropped ?Special Weapon? My first reaction was "cool" then a "WTF?". ID'd it and it happened to be an Agito (Fake: Model 1980), but anyways is this normal or just dumb luck?

this happen in my game awhile ago ( i was taking my sister and her friend through the game and we got to the Ruins) and my sister happened to find the Speical weapon? first... it was a Arigato(fake) 1980 also.....man i wanted to find it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/icon_razz.gif on normal btw

Got my fake agito there too. It of course wasnt the 1975 real one. What are all the dates for the agitos?

It happens.

I happened to find two DelSabre Right arms in the Normal ruins. My friend happened to find two Kalagdolgs (sp?). While not very likely, there is a chance for the rare stuff. Just don't expect to get a hold of Lavis Cannon or Nei's Claw on Normal.

I picked up my first rare weapon on the ruins 2/normal difficulty. It was a double saber that I got from a chaos bringer, man was I happy.

Ruins on Normal is a great place to find non-common rares, better than Ruins on Hard and even V Hard sometimes. Most of the non-common rares I've found (Dual Sabers, Durandal, Agito, Photon Claw) were found on Normal.

So far I have found 2 1977 agitos in the ruins, during the same game one on ruins1 and one on ruins3. Later that day I found a del's right arm and yesterday I found a photon claw and light relief during the same journey. In comparison I haven't found anything on hard below the mines.

Well, I usually find Varistas... and I found my first fake agito in the ruins too. ^_^; It is a good melee weapon... at least, until you find Gradiuses... ^_^

I found my first rare in the mines on normal, Photon Claw (either that, or ruins on normal for Delsaber's Right Arm, can't remember which came first). I find more common rares offline, and more RARE rares online with someone other than a Purplenum creating the game (Last night I ran into 2 Pouilly Slimes on a Japanese server, a Whitill created the game, and I got a Flame Visit!
