Shield questions:

I know it sounds shallow, but I love items that change the look of my character, even if they aren't the best in terms of performance. Especially shields.

I'm wondering:

-What rare shields change your appearence (not all of the shield in the item database have pics of them being worn)?

-Which ones would be good for my RAmar?

-Does the Attribute Wall change your appearence?

I have the Combat Gear, but it doesn't change my Ranger's look. What shield would be good for my Ranger (doesn't have to be the best- just good), and looks cool?

I'm the same way.

Shield of Delsaber isn't so bad, gives a nice EDK boost, and looks pretty cool.

Flowen's shield I thought, when I first got it, Looked awesome. Though it's not the best Shield.

Since you can't use the Kasami Bracer, which has both both power and style, I'd try for maybe a Tripolic Shield, if you can find it. It looks pretty nice.

I have the Delsaber shield on my Hunter already, so I don't really want another.

I'll look into the Flowen and Tripolic shields.

How about Secure Feet and the God shields? I've seen their stats on the item database, but are they actually good items in the real (game) world? Or are those too rare? I want something that I can trade for fairly easily.

The God shields are available only by Challenge Mode, I believe. I'm not too sure about Secure Feet, Don't have one.. Here's a link:

I just checked out the Tripolic Shield, and I like how it looks, and I like the stats. I see if I can track one down on the trade forum. Think I'll have any luck? I've never seen one before, so I'm guessing it's pretty rare (but not rare enough to be duped into common-ness).

Since the lvl req. is pretty high (for my secondary character), I'll try to get a Flowen's Shield as well.

Depending on your ID, Standstill Shield (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=221&sortby=class) is a pretty good for an RA class character and is pretty neat looking to boot. I won't lie though, it took me forever to get a Greennill VR Temple Merlan to drop one.

I personally use a Tripolic Shield (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=203&sortby=class) with my HUcaseal, it's simple looking and doesn't mess up her color scheme. I tend to favor EVP over DFP, so it works out well. I got this from a random Pinkall Seabed run.

You could always shoot for Secure Feet (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=231&sortby=class), it's RAmar only and pretty fun looking.

Lot's of people like Kasami Bracer (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=239&sortby=class), i've had no luck finding one.

Drop- the Standstill looks cool, but it's level req. is way too high. My Ranger will never get there. My main character is my Force.

The Tripolic Shield and Secure Feet are even a bit too high. But I still want them.

In the meantime, I'll make due with the Flowen. It's sort of crappy judging on the stats, but losing a few DFP and EVA is no biggie for my Ranger. Having him look cool makes me want to use him more than having him kick ass.

Ap, I'm a RAmar.

But my FOnewearl has a Love Heart waiting for her at lvl 131. If the FOnewearl can use the Safety Heart, I might try to get one to match.

Ah ha! A shield not mentiond. DB's Shield (http://www.pso-world.com/items.php?op=viewarticle&artid=170&sortby=class), the compliment to the Saber/Sword and the Armor (which i'm still trying to track down). I just found the shield during an EN4 run and though it can't compare to my Tripolic, it is pretty cool looking. It matches the sword perfectly and it's block effect is pretty cool too.
